Food as well as service was great! Hometown gem, borders the City of West Miami. From the appetizer to dessert everything was delicious.

I was actually running extremely late to the reservation time but they still honored it and my friend was seated immediately. When I arrived, I was famished so we ordered a bit of everything to start - the vitrola. It's their Cuban appetizer sampler with empanadas, plantain chips, croquettes, and others. It is a great way to try a bunch of items. My friend and I also ordered the ropa vieja and the Cuban sandwich to share. The ropa vieja is life changing - order it, you will not be disappointed. So flavorful and tender! The cuban sandwich was also really good, but a bit cheesier than others I have had. There was a ton of live music happening in both the front and the back of the restaurant. It is a very lively, fun place. The only downside is because it is so busy, the service is a little on the slower side but honestly who cares. You are there for the food and vibes and have nothing to do!

There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

We ordered a ton, and right off the bat: if you love croquetas and empanadas, order extra. They're on the smaller side and come individually, but they are so good they disappear fast. The beef empanadas were a 10/10 perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chicken empanadas didn't hit the same for me, but the jamón croquetas? Absolutely insane. A must. For appetizers, the prawns al ajillo were delicious super flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was good, but not my favorite. It leaned a bit bland for my taste, even with the sauce. Now, the must-get: the carnitas with pickled onions. Easily one of the best dishes of the night so flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. For entrées, we had the ribeye steak and arroz con pollo, plus sides of tostones and yuca. Everything here delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right not overly salty. The arroz con pollo was phenomenal, the kind of dish you could eat every single day. The tostones were crispy and tossed in garlic, which took the flavor to another level, and the yuca was melt-in-your-mouth good. I also ordered a mojito, which unfortunately was very watered down, I barely got any of that classic mojito flavor. Service overall was solid, especially considering how loud the restaurant gets it was honestly hard to hear each other at the table, so shoutout to our server for keeping everything straight. The appetizers came out quickly, back-to-back, which we loved. The only downside was the wait for the entrées they took quite a while after we finished the apps, even though we ordered everything at once. Overall, amazing food, great energy, and definitely worth going just be prepared for a lively (and loud) atmosphere.

Five of us ordered: 5 Cafecitos 1 Pan con Lechon 3 Pan con Bistec 1 Coladita 1 Timba Came out to $107.45 including a $10 tip. We already had a memorable Cubano sandwich so we explored other options. The Lechon was by far the crowd favorite flavor wise, but it is heavier with the pork fat. The garlic sauce is a must to help cut through the richness. We left supremely happy with the salty and garlicky fat flavors lingering on our tastebuds, rejuvenated by a quick shot of velvety espresso, and capped off with the sweet guava and tangy queso crema shake (La Timba). This location is nestled in a food court style area, with a few restaurants offering sit down table service as well. You can't beat having a fake cocaine brick (at least I think) sitting at your table amidst the menus and drinks. They have regular silverware but do use plastic cups that gives off that relaxed, casual vibe. There are several craft beers from all over the country available from $7-10, and I believe a couple house wines. I think the nicest drink you can get is a frozen lemonade or fruit punch. It comes virgin and a little sugary, a little coarsely icy, a lot refreshing. But you can ask for a shot of rum to be added to it. I could drink 3 of those if I allowed myself to! I have tried friends' Cuban dishes, like yuca fries, tostones, rice and beans, which have all been standardly good. But I always get drawn to the Greek menu and end up ordering the plates. The plates are huge and come stacked with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, a beautifully dressed salad, tzatziki, hummus and pita slices. You have a choice of side, and I have unashamedly ordered the crispy, crunchy fries each time and have plenty to share. The proteins are clearly made freshly---the falafel is crisp and the chicken kebab is well seasoned and moist. However, they come up with creative and tasty offerings as well. The Cuban Sandwich Empanadas are stuffed with juicy pulled pork, ham and melty cheese for a snack you didn't realized you had been waiting for. The Greek egg rolls blows my mind and are a great hot, greasy, juicy, meaty treat. The servers are typically on it when it comes to orders and whatever you need. Owner Adrian keeps his staff on point, and JJ is always a friendly face when we go.
