you definitely know you're at the right window!

The cafe con leche will change your mind about whether you've really ever had coffee before or only ever had paltry coffee-adjacent drinks; tight parking, smallish outdoor seating area and a crowded tight indoor space, absolutely no one seemed to mind the press or the wait; absolutely everyone was all smiles both before, in anticipation, and after, in satisfaction. This place was somewhat of an event, in my book.

El Patria

Tinta y Cafe serves up great coffee and amazing food in this charming little corner coffee house in the Gables. I've been here multiple times and not a single time has it ever let me down! The service here is nice and the all the staff are very friendly and chill. The spinach croquetas are an absolute must when you come here! I have never tried one prior to coming here and my girlfriend convinced me to try one and I can never look back! The sandwiches are great here, my favorite is the Patria, definitely one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've had in Miami. The coffee here is also really great I recommend El Pecado!

The large café con leche is not very large

Small space, but a good breakfast spot if you're in the area and looking for some Cuban food. Finding parking is a pain in the @$$ cause all the street parking is for residents and the lot for their establishment only fits a few cars. Definitely try some of their house made croquetas, their sandwiches are filling and delicious. The only complaint I had was that their "large" coffee looked no different than a regular coffee so we ended up having to order more cause it was gone literally after a few sips. Service here is excellent.

Ham croquette

If you're into ham croquettes that actually mean business, this spot delivers. These croquetas were big, creamy, and packed with ham. Fresh, not overly salty, and clearly made with quality ingredients. I just wished they had a little extra seasoning to make the flavors pop even more. I also tried one of their sandwiches. The filling was tasty and felt high‑quality, but the bread was a bit firmer than I expected and not as sweet as the classic medianoche style. Still good -- just different. Now, let's talk timing: my food took about 25-30 minutes to come out, so this isn't a grab‑and‑go kind of place. But the pineapple juice made up for it -- super fresh, naturally sweet but not overwhelming. Overall, you can tell they use really good ingredients, and that alone makes me want to come back and try more of their sandwiches. Solid spot!

Love this place. The vibe inside is nice and intimate. We ate at the bar where we can see food be prepared. Coffee delicious, food tasty and service was good.

Had such a wonderful time at Tinta y Café! It was my first time having authentic Cuban coffee and pastries, other than Porto's haha, and WOW... so, so good. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the coffee was incredible. Little Havana has so many great places and I'm so glad I came here . Our server was so kind and helpful and gave us great recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. I also really loved that they encourage guests to unplug and truly enjoy the moment, the coffee, the treats, and the company you are with. It made everything feel more special and intentional. Such a cozy spot with amazing vibes. Definitely coming back next time we're in Miami

Tinta is the place to come to when you want a pure miami/cuban breakfast. This place has such a homey feel to it and they have a no phone rule. They heavily encourage you to socialize and not be on the phone. Put the phones down, connect and be present in the moment. You know I had to sneak in some pictures of the food to review though! So I always get a cortadito con leche evaporada because thats how I love my coffee, I loved it so good I ordered a cafe con leche after. My boyfriend got el pecado which is cuban coffee, and both regular milk and leche condensada. We got some croquetas to split, THE BEST spinach croquetas you can ever have in your life, and some JUMBO delicious flavorful croquetas de jamon. We came here twice back to back so I posted all the sandwiches from both nights. The first one I forgot the name to, its like a turkey BLT of some sort, pretty good but I got the cuban sandwich which is of course a classic. The pork was SO good I insisted I got the pan con lechon the next time I went, which i also forgot the name of this one. Overall, 10/10 love this place, no matter the price i will always come here for some delicious breakfast with a relaxing home vibe to it!!

Scrambled eggs w/ ham and manchego cheese

Cubano vibes con a relax atmosphere. This place hit the spot for my craving. Inside seating is community seating which means you may share part of the table with another group of people. Seating is limited and its first come. Or if you're on the go you can order at the walk up window. I got there for the breakfast menu which was perfect. The breakfast menu was perfect for my picky eater of a kiddo. You are able to build your own sandwich or plate. Which means you select how you want your eggs cooked, type of bread, type of cheese and sauce. I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and manchego cheese mixed in together. As for the bread, I got media noche with calena sauce which is a cilantro sauce but it was very mild spread on like a baguette style bread. My kiddo got eggs, ham and manchego cheese on a croissant. Our were served on a plate and you can either build your own sandwich or just eat it right off the plate. As for my husband he got El Patria sandwich which is ham, pork, mortadella with Swiss cheese and mustard on Cuban bread. His was served with plantain chips. Everything was delicious and no crumbs were left behind. Staff was quick and super friendly. Don't forget on your way out grab a few pastries they are all delicious.

When you go to Miami you have to try Cuban food especially when it's on the Michelin guide! This place is a cute cafe. A hole in the wall type of feel with a very tight parking lot. You can tell a lot of locals come here but it is more popular than your typical hole in the wall. The food is good! Cuban breakfast sandwiches and pastries and of course strong and good Cuban coffee. The service was great and our food came fast. Our sandwich was delicious as well as our guava pastry. If you are looking for a coffee shop that gives you the local neighborhood feel this is your spot! It felt authentic and it was delicious. Also it was very reasonably priced.

I absolutely love this place! I love ordering through their little window it makes placing your order so convenient, especially when im grabbing a coffee for my walks! Their iced cafe con leche is arguably one of the best in Miami and it is my go to every time and you might as well order the tequeños while youre there! They are superrr busy so be prepared to wait if you go during peak hours or weekends! The staff is super lovely and welcoming!

Delicious coffee here! Service and staff were great. We were attended fast and staff was attentive. I ordered the cappuccino and it was delicious coffee. Great coffee art as well. My husband had the cortadito and he loved it too. Will definitely be back.

Ohhhh myyyyy goodness. This place is it! The sandwiches, ambiance, excellent service and laid back vibes, were great! Xavier, is one of the managers who took care of our party. He made excellent recommendations and I went with them all. The Cobb salad with the dressing on the side, the bacalao croquette, the fresh passion fruit juice and the madurito sandwich (this was my favorite). It was all sooooo good. Get ready to be impressed. The sandwich was served with plantain chips on the side. This spot is one that can easily be checked out time and time again. It was sooooooo good. Can't wait to go back! In the meantime, enjoy!

My husband's El Croqueton was excellent! I ordered a regular breakfast with eggs and bacon. Their coffee was also great! Service was okay (they forgot an item on my order). Ambiance was unique- it felt like you were in someone's living room. 4.4 stars.

I'm confused their Insta looks like they serve brunch---do they not and are they not open on Sunday?

Tinta y Cafe is closed on Sundays, always has been. They host another business, Sansara, that holds a pop up brunch there on Sundays. Different concept, different menu, equally delicious.

Can you get a Cuban sandwich for breakfast or can you only order off the breakfast menu?

You can always order the sandwiches

Even the people that works Avalon said it that the cuban lady had such a bad attitude with everyone and thats not good if your gonna work in a restaurant with that bad attitufde plz go home dont work like that?

No bad attitude observed during my visit. Cool little place.

They are always having pop ups celebrating small businesses, or small events that are curated to feature interesting topics and showcase different local merchants. It's how I discovered Chi Chi's bakeshop - fantastic baked goods - a cool thrift shop, and also an awesome film photo booth vendor. I will dream of the tequenos regularly, in addition to their other grab and go snacks. The coffee they use is from a local roaster, Perla Coffee, and quite delicious. The best tip I could give, besides visiting them and enjoying a killer cup of coffee, is to follow them on Instagram. That's where they post their events, pop-ups, and seasonal / limited time menu items. Parking is easy - you can park in the funeral home across the street no problem. This spot is also women-owned, making it a perfect place to add to your rotation to celebrate Women's History Month and support women-owned businesses. This location also houses Ocho Placas Tattoo shop, a gallery, and film lab. The concept is awesome, and I can't wait to visit again.

We grabbed a table inside across from the counter -- the space was cool, cozy, and flooded with natural light, a nice contrast to the Miami heat outside. Great energy for casual strategy talk. Order Highlight: I went for the 4-egg omelet loaded with crispy bacon and cheddar cheese, served with a warm buttery croissant on the side. (See pic ). It was comfort food done right -- fluffy eggs, sharp cheddar melt, and real-deal bacon, not that paper-thin stuff. Service was friendly and quick. Coffee refills came without asking. Staff were chill but attentive, which made it easy to talk business without interruptions. Overall, this spot strikes the perfect balance for a laid-back, productive CRE catch-up -- no loud crowds, no fuss, just solid food and clean ambiance. Bonus points for easy parking and a menu that works whether you're here for a breakfast deal huddle or a solo laptop session. Already planning to make this a recurring Friday tradition.

There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.
