We've been to this spot many times--it's a typical, vibrant Hispanic place in Miami, and it was actually my mother-in-law's favorite. We came here after her funeral service to honor her, and it really felt like the right choice. Despite it being Father's Day, they were able to accommodate our large party of over 30 pretty quickly, which was impressive. The food was delicious as always, and the music added a nice energy to the experience. Service was a bit mixed--my table was well taken care of, but others in our group had to track down waiters just to get water and drinks, and the food was served almost 1 hour after the rest of us which was disappointing. All in all, it was a meaningful meal, and we appreciated having a place where we could come together as a family and remember someone we loved.

Food is good, abundant and authentic! Service is good. Is a classic place in Miami! Many years around! Ambience torn better with the live music or karaoke! Is a big place an very central located.

Restaurante muy típico y auténtico con la comida Centro Americana. Great service by the waitresses and the manager. Plenty of space a tables for guests. Great for big groups. They also have a bar area with additional seating. They play music and sometimes have live bands playing. We ordered an appetizer called súper antojitos to start off with. Price is $25/$30 but it is so worth it! Great starter for groups of 3-5 people. You can down one by yourself but chances are you won't have space for the pupusas! In the video you'll see pupusas de frijol con queso and the Salvadorian favorite queso con loroco. So good! Only thing I noticed was that they were oily and the masa was falling apart. After we started eating them you could literally open them in half like if it was an arepa - which they aren't meant to be like. Overall it's a great place to enjoy a little taste of home.

This is a really good place for the money. I went for lunch and the food came out fast and it was very good.

We started with melon and dragonfruit drinks which were like aguas frescas. For starters we tried the Taquitos and Chancho con Yucca and they were excellent. The pork tenderloin chunks in the Chancho were done well and had a tasty coating of spices. We loved the chopped cabbage. We also liked the pulled beef in the Taquitos. The fried beans were creamy and delicious. In fact, everything on our plates was delicious! For mains, we had the Fajitas de Carne and Lengua en Salsa. Both were very good. I haven't had a tamale in a while so I decided to try the Indio Maiz; the sweet corn was good as was the sour cream and soft cheese. Yum. I really enjoyed Maranos. The portions were good in comparison to Los Ranchos and the steak was extremely flavorful and soft. They also have a selection of sauces for the steak or your meal. The service was great. Our only complaint was that they served canned beverages. If you are somebody that drinks a lot of soda, the bill can quickly get expensive. We love Nicaraguan food and frequently dine at other places but this restaurant by far is the best. The wait can be long on the weekends with larger parties so just be aware of that.

They boast both indoor and outdoor seating with the same aesthetic and nods to Colombian culture, like the cute hats and sandals hanging on the wall. We were seated inside fairly quickly on the Sunday afternoon we came in. They were pretty busy, but the waiters were kind of hanging out at the bar, just chit-chatting. We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad. The rice was really undercooked. The waiter tried to appease us by bringing us more of the same uncooked rice. We were not the only table to say something about it because our neighbors confirmed they too received the same and were also unhappy. Other than that, the rest of my meal was great. However, I will say my mom was very upset with her experience and expressed that her chicken wasn't prepared well either.
