Sorry it is missing half since I was hungry . This is the lunch special with carne asada, rice, salad, maduros, tostones and lentils.

Excellent food, in amount, presentation and taste. Lunch special on weekdays from 11 am to 4 pm for $13.49. Tastes home- made! I'll definitely will be back!

Really good place. Cheap for lunch and they are rea fast when it's not rush hour. Service is really good. It is not fancy but ambience is very homie and food is great.

What a wonderful little gem of a restaurant. We love their mondongo soup and always appreciate the kindness of the ladies that work there. It feels like you're eating at home. They treat and serve you with such kindness and care. The portions are generous, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Our little one is a picky eater but loves the broth of their soup. The lady is nice enough to bring her extra broth. As a mother, I appreciate this so much. This place doesn't feel like a hurry up and eat so I can bill you kind of place but a place where they really put love into the meals they make.

Excellent on every level. Only drawback is the restaurant is located in an office park and is difficult to find using GPS. Look for Suite B where the blue and white tile is. Amazing, authentic hearty high protein breakfast served all day. Generous portions and quality coffee. Chef's kiss! Clean, wheelchair accessible restrooms.

I found this place in quite a rush and it was the best, last minute judgement I could have made. Located down the road between Dolphin and International mall, you can easily miss this gem if you aren't looking for it. The moment you do walk in here though, you are greeted by Spanish decor, an older lady working the bar and the tv's playing Colombian news. The aesthetics are ALL there. Before it was a Colombian restaurant, it was a Spanish spot for 15 years. The new owners, who've now been here for 9, mentioned that they didn't want to change any of the fixtures. They did well. I loved it from the first moment I walked in. The prices are great, food comes out fresh and hot and I almost don't have to wait long for it. It's great for any time of the day, but you'll normally catch me here for breakfast or lunch. I've had simple breakfast (eggs and arepas) and also their special of the day. Normally it comes with a full plate of food that you may not even finish; definitely recommend it though. The staff is super friendly and they play live music on Friday's and Saturday's!

Thank you Yelp for suggesting this amazing, authentic spot tucked away in Doral! Though I'm not Colombian, I can tell this place is very authentic due to the crowd and the ambiance. We had a Bandeja paisa, sobrebarriga (not pictured) and carne asada de res. The plates were abundant to say the least and the prices were extremely reasonable. We took a ton of food home, which I am excited about lol! There was live music, though I'm not sure how often and when this happens. I definitely recommend coming here for a unique dining experience.

Amazing place! We've been coming here for years!! The inside is nicely set up and has a lot of Columbian cultured decorations. The waitresses there are always nice to us! I decided to try their mora juice today, and omg it was so refreshing! We always order a few empanadas as an appetizer. They taste soo good, especially with the spicy sauce that they have at the table. And then for entrees, their bandeja paisa is a huge entree! We normally get it with their steak (always cooked perfectly), and it comes with pork skin, maduros, rice, beans, a fried egg, and your choice of an arepa or a tostone. And their portion sizes are generous!! And i forgot to take a pic of the dessert sadly but we normally get a pudding that comes with a side of raisins; very yummy! Oh and they also have live music that i think starts around like 8:00 but i dont really remember. Overall this place has always been our favorite Columbian spot and you have got to try it!!

Alright, if you're looking for some Colombian home cooking, you've come to the right place. The food here is delicious, well priced, and always tastes fresh. It's one of those places you come to once and then want to eat at 3 times a week, it's that good. Why the 4 stars and not 5 you ask? Well, unfortunately our waitress (both times I've been here) was not very good and it was the same one both times. She needs a few hours of "how to be more welcoming" training, it's like she's annoyed that we were there. The restaurant is also a bit dark and dingy, so it could definitely use an upgrade there. Elite tip: The parking lot is tiny and fills up really fast. Allow yourself some time to find parking. All in all this place is great and I highly recommend it.

This is a hole in the wall in an unassuming shopping mall. I found it by accident, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, and really felt and tasted like a home-cooked meal. The empanadas were to die for, try them with the hot sauce. The meat was super tender and had just the right seasoning. Our waitress was ok, not spectacular, and we did have to wait a lot in between courses. It was Mother's Day, so I'll give them a pass. There is plenty of parking everywhere, I'm surprised more people hasn't discovered this place. I will definitely return!

The lunch special: Pechuga de Pollo a la Plancha.

This place is tucked in a nondescript strip mall. When you walk in you are fully transported to a cute typical Colombian restaurant. The server was gracious and sweet. The food was delicious. The rice wasn't my favorite as it was a little hard. But everything else on my plate was great. The lunch special is a great deal. You chose between a couple protein options and it comes with a side of rice, beans or a soup, salad, tostone, and maduros. I chose the pechuga a la plancha (which was very yummy) and paired it with one of their natural juices (maracuyá/passion fruit).

Great Colombian restaurant, it is a great option for lunch during the week. Savory, big portions, everything well prepared and fresh. Service is good, prices are great. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Great hidden gem! Authentic Colombian cuisine. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Dishes were tasty & well priced. Service was friendly but could have been more efficient, we waited a really long time to get our check. Overall great experience and highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious Colombian meal.

The portion was surprisingly large, so I ended up eating half and taking the rest home. I also tried the beef plantain empanada, and honestly, you can't go wrong with that combination. The sweet plantain paired perfectly with the savory beef, creating the ideal balance of sweet and salty flavors. My boyfriend ordered the cheese arepa. It was good, but nothing out of this world compared to everything else we tried. For drinks, I had their cold brew made with 100% Colombian coffee. It was incredibly refreshing, and adding two pumps of pistachio syrup took it to another level. My boyfriend ordered the caramel frappe and really enjoyed it as well. One thing I loved was the atmosphere. The decor has a very Colombian feel, which gives the space a lot of character. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to study, work, or just hang out for a while. Overall, great food, great coffee, and a welcoming environment. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

The blue in the lemonade is from the Butterfly Pea Flower. It is made from a dried, cobalt blue flower that is native to Southeast Asia. Its scientific name is Clitoria ternatea. Butterfly Pea Flower is a bright blue color and it is sometimes used as a food coloring. When you add the acid of lemon it turns a violet color which is how they achieved the blue/ purple color of the drink. As the lemon distributed throughout, it eventually turned entirely violet. While the decor was nice, the lights were flickering on and off the whole time we were there. It had to be a wiring issue but it was definitely obnoxious. The staff was very nice, but SLOW! We got to the nearly empty restaurant and were sat quickly, however, with informing that we were still expecting two more were left completely unattended. Instead of placing drink and appetizer orders, we had to wait until the other two arrived which ended up being over half an hour. I could've used a drink or two or three. Once everyone was there, we had to flag down servers just to get a little attention. The drinks took a bit to come out and the appetizers took so long we scrambled to put food orders in the second we got the apps. The food itself was great. I have no complaints on the food as it tasted good. I'm not usually a chimichurri eater but I LOVED this one. Portions were good and the pricing wasn't bad. I just feel like with so much competition for restaurants in Miami, they need to step up their game. With El Centro Americano in the same shopping center and El Madroño across the street, this restaurant will never survive if left as is.

With the amount of Nicaraguan restaurants in the area, I found the portion of the sides to be very lean. Well, the steak was generous in size, I had ordered Maduros and Repollo, which were both small. I received maybe three or four Maduros's, which probably amounted to half a plantain, and small 1/2 cup size of repollo. 2. Where is the spice?!? And the flavor?? Specifically with the sauces, and the oil, I wanted more picante and vinegar-flavor. Also, the "chimichurri" consisted mainly of oil! Aside from those two complaints, the quality of ingredients were great. The steak was absolutely divine and delicious. It had been marinated in a citrus and soy sauce from the flavor of it, and grilled to perfection with the perfect amount of doneness that I had requested. It was juicy, seasoned well, and what gives this review four stars instead of three. Honestly, I will go back just for the churrasco steak alone! Service is good, attentive, I'm very friendly. The space is in a strip mall. Restaurant is clean, with a good ambience and had a variety of daily specials for both lunch and dinner. I'm still dreaming about that steak! If only the chimichurri and toppings had more kick to it!
