I had a great experience at Mordisco. We tried the Miami spice dinner menu and it was so worth it. The food was excellent, starting with the appetizers and the main course steak platter was amazing. We truly enjoyed our desserts too. And definitely the drinks were on point. A great place in the Doral area.

Bustling Friday night! Make reservations ahead of time this place had a line inside and outside. Food was great! We loved everything we ordered. Half of the table ordered miami spice. Steak, branzino, and ceviche out of this world. Tres leches was extremely sweet! Definitely can cut back on the sweetness. As for the negative it took a very long time for a server to come to our table. By the time he arrived we ordered everything in one go. Drinks took an extremely long time to arrive as well. When our bills arrived 2/3 were incorrect!! Double check the bill!! Overall we had a good time but these few things put a bitter taste in our mouth.

Mordisco was a great spot. I went for the Miami Spice menu, recommended by a co-worker. The menu is $50 per person. I also got an alcoholic drink called Los Roques. It was a creamy coconut cocktail. It was prepared with a rim of coconut shavings. Delicious! For the appetizer, I got the Ceviche Carnavalero. I gotta admit, to me that was the apex of the meal. The leche de tigre was well balanced, and with the sweet plantains, phenomenal. For the entree, I got the Parrilla Rucio Moro. The meats were cooked to perfection. The chicharron had a fantastic crunch to it. I really enjoyed that. Wasn't a big fan of the boiled yuca. The sauces and tostones it came with were perfect additions to it. And for the dessert I got the Crispy Churros. They were delicious and went great with the Nutella, but they did come out a little cold. The inside is beautiful, especially the bar. My only complaints were that I waited a pretty long time after being seated before someone approached my table, and the other complaint was that the gratuity. I wasn't given the option to choose how much to tip. The gratuity was automatically included. It wasn't a party of 4 or more. It was just me. In total, I spent about $90. I will be returning.

A fantastic experience every time I visit. Excellent service and delicious food. Service is great. Marioxi was very kind and helped us with our menu selections. Great recommendations and very attentive. Food is delicious. The sancocho was made just right and the tostones de picana were fantastic. The ceviche is one of my favorites in all of Miami. I always order it and it never disappoints. They offer great lunch specials that include an appetizer, main course, and dessert. They also have a kids' menu with lots of great options. My daughter loves the chicken nuggets and seasoned fries. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff is attentive from the moment you walk in until you leave the restaurant. It is usually busy so if you can make reservations. Definitely a great place to take the family. Every time we go, the service is excellent, and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend it.

Mordisco Carpaccio

Excellent. This Venezuelan Columbian fusion spot was pricey, but really good. Random note, their use of sea salt/large salt crystals was very well done on their meats and the smoking/Wood fire scent was a common thread across many dishes, including the Caesar salad croutons. As another reviewer GabyRos said, try the mordisco carpaccio, ceviche, and Carne en Vera - you'll not regret it. Cute interior decorations and the bathroom is really trippy.

Wanted to try this place because I'm local and it has really good ratings but in all honesty the food was ok, nothing out of this world in my opinion, It is pricey for what it is. Got the picanha at medium and it was cooked correctly but chewy and got the ribeye at medium as well and it came out medium well/well done. Appetizer portions are small, and side portions are small. Similar to any other churrascaria in Miami, have definitely gotten identical food at a way cheaper price. Ambiance, drinks, and service is great though.

I came here to try out some authentic Hispanic dishes, and the menu definitely delivered. They offer a variety of options from different countries, which makes it fun if you're in the mood to try something new or share with friends. The flavors were on point--everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The service was also great; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made good recommendations. My only complaint is that the prices are a bit on the high side compared to similar spots. Still, if you don't mind spending a little extra, it's worth it for the variety and quality of food. The ceviche was my favorite !

Tried this place out for the first time today and loved it! We had the Miami spice menu and were happily impressed with the quantities offered. The food was super flavorful! Simple but nice inside. Service from Thompson was great too - did a great job recommending things to try. Will definitely be returning!

I came here for Miami Spice Lunch, the ambiance was very nice and intimate and the space was pretty big. I had the Summer cocktail which was super refreshing and sweet. For appetizers I had the Sifrino dip which was okay , had a bit of a Vienna sausage taste. I had the Picahna Toston which was amazing , the sauce that it comes with was delicious. I really recommend the Parrilla Maute which has of veriety of meats plus tostones, Yuca and chimichurri which was super good. Also the "Best Picahna in town" was good comes with two sides and portions where pretty big. For dessert I had the flan which was creamy and delicious, the churros which were good but nothing crazy, and the papaya dessert was very interesting , like nothing I've ever had before. Our server Ernesto was very nice and attentive.

This hip and happening hidden gem in Doral is nothing to miss out on. This was my first Venezuelan dining experience and it certainly will not be my last. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is great and the ambiance is really nice. Thompson, was our server and everything he recommended from the fresh squeezed juices to the main course and dessert were great!! I had the Miami spice that included ceviche, fish and flan. My friend had the chicken with yuca and we had salads with our meal in addition to the fried cheese. It was sooooo yummy! Oh, before I forget; our appetizers were arepas and a shredded chicken and guacamole dip. Please check out this place and enjoy!

Came here in a group of five and had a little bit of a wait so we waited at the bar and had two delicious drinks. We wanted to focus on the Miami spice menu. The food was good, the steak was a little salty, but the waitress explained that it's the sauce that it's made in. I had an espresso martini it was delicious. Our waitress was very patient and had good recommendations. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice, from the outside it doesn't look as pretty as it is inside. The menu is pretty big so I probably would return to try something else.

Celebration Dip

Great dinner! We ordered the celebration appetizer, parilla mordisco and carpaccio to share amongst 3 people. We ate so much and had some leftovers. Everything was delicious. Especially loved the carpaccio, cachapa bites, yucca, and all the meats. Would definitely return!

My sister has been recommending Mordisco for a few months now, as she had previously dined there and had a great experience. A group of us decided to have lunch there. At first we were skeptical, it appears to be a hole in the wall however, once inside, we could see what she was talking about. The staff and service were absolutely amazing - kind, friendly, and welcoming during a busy lunch hour. The food was great in both serving size and quality. Fresh ingredients, savory, and fresh.

The play gym area and the dining area around it were very clean. As I sat there for lunch, I saw a couple of different servers come by to clean and sweep after the children. There are a couple of four-top tables around the area, and we were seated at one. Our server, Mariarosa, was so sweet and on top of all we needed. She really made the experience exceed our expectations. The lunch menu was varied and priced fairly for the quality of food provided. I ordered the fish and shrimp ceviche bowl with rice. The patacones served with it were spot on. So crispy and delicious! For a couple of dollars more, one can choose to drink a soda, coffee, and/or dessert. Our whole party was really surprised by the overall quality of the food and service. Coupled with the fact that the children were occupied and were able to play safely while we dined was another spectacular perk.

The menu is a Latin fusion with a nice selection of Venezuelan and Peruvian cuisine. The Bocas Grill Ceviche - a mix of fresh fish, shrimp in a leche de tiger sauce and topped with fried calamari and chips. At the request of our server, we tried the Vuelva la Vida Cups - this is a plantain cup with a little seafood salad inside. This came 3 to the order and it was bursting with flavor. This was a great choice in the area. The food was delicious and we got to watch some soccer too.

You go in, place your order, and wait to be called to pick up. They have speakers outside so you can grab a table while you wait. The menu is very latin, cachapas, arepas, chicharron, tacos, tostones... but they also have burgers and hotdogs. I had the Cheese Cachapa with chicken, and chicharron. The Chicharron was perfectly fried and, and the cachapa was delicious, especially with the nata sauce. Portions are generous so we had leftovers. Service is informal, don't expect a warm and friendly welcome, think more fast-food personality, but they get the job done. So, a great place for a quick stop with good food.

Cheesy Corny Deliciousness Done Right!!!…read more We suggested to come and try this place by some Venezuelan friends and it did not disappoint. First of all it's a food truck and in fact it's two in one kind of spot. They have one truck for Cachapas and other Venezuelan items and then the have a Pizza truck. Tables are outside which for this cool Miami night was perfect. Wife ordered a regular Cachapa and I ordered the Patacon with Maduro as the plantain style. The kids had cheese pizza and we also ordered some tequenos and empanadas. Everything was really good but the star was the Cachapa. Is was simple yet perfect. The cheese had the right thickness but yet pull. The cachapa corn flavor was on point and even the crema was smooth and delicious. The Patacon was truly not too far behind. I ordered it with Chicken and it was moist and it also had a thick slice of cheese. With the Maduro style patacon it was the perfect sweet and salty combo that I love. Service was super quick and very friendly. They have plenty of seating. I would say the capacity is around 20 or so people and there was a line to sit. We fortunately got there before the line. Which just tells you they are doing something good here. Overall highly recommend Frank Cachapas and worth a drive to Doral to try it out.
