The atmosphere of this place is electric. They have full built-in stage for live music. When they don't have live music, they are pumping music through the speakers. This is a steakhouse but they have plenty of other Venezuelan favorites. Definitely get the chicharron or the sampler appetizer (arepas, pork ribs and crispy chicken wings). Went here for dinner earlier in the week. Wasn't to crazy about the appetizers (beef empanada and Arepitas con Nata) but who comes here for the appetizers. My sister had the Branzino filet grilled with Russian salad and Caesar saladand said it was good. I had the Pincho De Pollo with rice and black beans with homemade cheese. Struggled to finish it but it was good. Sister had cafe con leche no azucar. We ordered the flan and left satisfied. Glad my sister decided to go here for dinner. The menu was full of great looking stuff, from ribs and burgers to kalamari and chicharrón. My son ordered a kid's ribeye and mashed potatoes- his favorites. My wife and I ordered an espresso martini and a margarita, and opted to try three appetizers instead of an entree. We got the burrata, the chicharrones, and the shrimp ceviche. First, my wife loved the margarita. It's her go-to on date nights, so she was happy. Second, I'm not lying when I say this was the best espresso martini I have ever had. I order them very regularly, and am very picky. This was not too sweet, not too tart, and extra shaken so it was ice cold and foamy. Absolutely delicious. The chicharrones were really good. I hate to do this but no, man. We ordered a parrillada for two and when we got the food: they cut the meat for us! And the chicken. Who does that? We ordered medium rare and the meat was well done. When I opened the box it looked to me as though they cut it so that it seemed "more". I don't know. The parrillada consisted of a salad, 2 sausages, one cut in little pieces steak and the same with a piece of chicken, 2-3 pieces of yuca frita and that was it. All for the convenient price of $70 plus dollars. Like I said, never again. There's plenty of places where you get so much more for the same price. Most parrilladas I know would bring a couple of different kinds of meat, chicken sure, sausage and morcilla, and other stuff. Even bread. First time I see a salad and yuca frita. The service was good , the only thing I do suggest is that when you order you do not ask the waiter to change the order because I did that and before the waiter left I told him to please change for something else and he said he couldn't do it .I'm sure he was able to all he need to do was ask the manager but I had to ask like 3-4 times before the manager told us why they couldn't at first . It was hard to get our Server's attention, somewhat understandable because it got busy very quickly. Still, we couldn't tell if it was because of that or the language thing. Sadly, we had to leave before a live band was about to entertain, which would have been amazing I'm sure. We were seated right away and our server Kathryn was super friendly and very helpful from the start. She patiently showed us the menu and provided details of some of the dishes. I started with a mango Margarita which was mixed just right, not too tart and not too sweet; it was delicious. We ordered the Guarnicion as an appetizer, which includes arepitas, fried yuka, fried plantains, cheese, and a spreading cream. The portions were generous and very flavorful. For our entree we had the Parrilla Popular; it brings a beef strip loin, perfectly cooked on the grill, tender and juicy, pork chops, and a pork sausage, with 2 sides; we opted for boiled yuka and sweet plantains. Everything was fresh, high quality and tasty. They have a good selection of wines, both by the glass or bottle. We went with a red wine from Chile. The service is amazing.
