Casual ambiance. Attentive staff. English and Spanish menus. Good maracuya/passion fruit juice. Tasty arepas. I'll likely be back.

I came here for breakfast. The signage is in Spanish but they have both Spanish and English menus. I ate in and the staff was very helpful and attentive. The cafe con leche was perfect. For food I have the Viva Viviana arepa fried (grilled was an option). The garlic sauce was very tasty and compliments the picanha.I also got shredded meat empanadas to go. The dough was sweet so not to my liking. I'd definitely return to try some more of the menu.

I'm a big fan of Venezuelan style empanadas and came across this place. Here are my thoughts 1) the location is in the center of downtown coral gables. Close to miracle mile and many of the offices in the area. There is street parking or the city parking garage next door 2) restaurant interior was nice and bright. They had a large cooler of various sodas to choose from. I'm a huge fan of Postabon Manzana and had to get those. There is also outdoor seating but it's summer in Miami so not for me 3) service was okay. Someone at the front greeted me and asked me for my name to get my order. Came back and said it would be about 3-5 minutes. Ended up being a 20 minute wait and I'm not sure why has they had quite a few ppl working in a small space. 4) empanadas were delicious. For $1 they are a very good size and the filling was amazing. I got the queso and Molina and they were fantastic. The green sauce they serve with the empanadas is a must. 5) the queso frito was perfectly fried. Not as good as the kind you get at a Nica restaurant but def a solid option. 6) French fries were a little confusing. They had two different styles that tasted differently than the other. Felt like they ran out of fries and just tossed the remaining ones into a single batch. Overall, this is a really good place in coral gables for empanadas. I will 100% come back here to eat again

Great food, server provided very friendly service, and cute atmosphere. Had various arepas, empanadas - (especially loved the fish one) and two desserts and passion fruit juice! What a lovely place. Glad Yelp led me to it!

Great spot behind Miracle Mile. This was my first time come for lunch and they have a great lunch special. The pasticho was INSANELY delicious. The sopa de auyama was also very good. Service was quick and the waiters were very friendly and welcoming. Very casual ambiance. Will definitely be back!!

Finally a Venezuelan place that doesn't rip you off on the prices. Empanas are cheap (small) but tasty. The arepa is beautifully stuffed. And the papelon con limón ( even though I think it's over priced ) definitely order it if you never tried it. Due to staff a shortage they have one server and even though she's awesome, do have patience if she doesn't get to you quickly. For the my fellow Americans, Venezuela food is delicious, fried and packed with good stuff. If you're picky def try the empanadas, order a few and if you like them jump to an arepa and possibly a "pabellon" if you want a meal. For my Venezuelans: El lugar esta bonito, muy bien localizado y la comida está muy buena. Por el precio las empanas están del carajo. El tequeno le faltó con queso pero la masa está muy buena. Metanle mano al papelon que aunque caro está muy bueno.

Today, while waiting for something to print at Office Depot, I was searching for a nearby brunch spot when it popped up in my search & I'm so glad I did! First of all, the place is absolutely adorable. It was a packed Sunday morning around 11 a.m. Only one tiny table was left inside, though there were a couple outside too. Honestly, on a beautiful Miami morning, I wouldn't have minded sitting outdoors at all. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gabriela, our hostess and waitress, was wonderful. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind with a huge smile. She walked us through the menu, answered questions about dishes I didn't recognize (it's a Venezuelan spot, after all), and made us feel completely taken care of. Even more impressive was that she seemed to be the only waitress on duty yet never came across as flustered or hurried or anything other than pure sunshine! I ordered my longtime favorite, the arepa perica, just like I used to when I worked nearby, along with a fresh-squeezed orange juice and a chicken empanada to try. My father ordered the desayuno criollo. Everything was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, the plating thoughtful, and the flavors delivered across the board. The space was lively and full of families, making it a great Sunday brunch spot. Everything was spotless, and I don't usually call that out because it should be a given, but the restroom was impressively clean. Like extra clean. I also just learned they have multiple locations now, which is amazing. Well deserved. I can't wait to go back, and I wish them continued success.

Everything tastes incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with attention to detail. The atmosphere is just as impressive. The space has a fun, energetic vibe that fits perfectly with Wynwood, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. What really makes it special, though, is the staff--everyone is always smiling, welcoming, and genuinely seems happy to be there. We also ordered the beef soup, which could have used a bit more flavor, and the Holiday plate, which was okay but not something that stood out. The double cheeseburger and an arepa were also just okay and probably not dishes we'd order again. Unfortunately, we also ordered the pepito mixto, but it never arrived because our waiter forgot to place the order. Service overall was a bit slow, and the atmosphere felt a little quiet--some music would really help improve the ambience. That said, the salad, plantains and juices alone would bring us back. We'd definitely return for those.

Can't miss the toppings like alioli, garlic, guasacaca, spicy, or the Venezuelan punch, tartar sauce. Now let's talk billete: the price is a ganga. For what you get, massive portions, flavor for days, and that homemade feel, it's honestly a steal. In this part of Miami? That's a miracle with guasacaca on top. Plus, the crew? Unos cracks. The guy working the register immediately greeted me and was very helpful. I got the crookie and something called a Santiago cake which he described as a gluten free cinnamon flavored cake with almond flour. The crookie was tasty, the croissant was nice and soft, but I thought it was overly chocolately. There are a few types of chocolate chips in the cookie itself and it seems like they might even put Nutella in the croissant part too. Either way it was great to try it, but just a lot for one person to eat. The Santiago cake was pretty good too. It definitely tastes like cinnamon but unlike the crookie, it could have used a bit more flavor and could be a little more moist. Definitely worth trying both of these unique desserts, just not a must visit for me again.
