Food- 100% recommend for some fresh great tasting arepas. I was very surprised about how good the pork arepa was. Perfectly seasoned with delicious grated cheese. The arepa itself was soft yet crunchy on the outside and served right off the grill. The Cachapa also didn't fall short, nice thick slab of cheese with sweet butter, always good! Service- quick! In Miami for work and had a chance to eat here for lunch. Gotta say that the food was really tasty and cooked very well. I had the chicken empanadas and the Maduros. I was very pleased with both. I tried my friend's dish as well and it was amazing. Unfortunately I don't remember the name. The staff was somewhat pleasant but the place is a walk up and order business so no real interaction outside of placing your order. The location was in a great spot. I felt rushed to order so I got the Arepa Reina Pepiada thinking it would have REAL avocados and disappointed to find out it's a creamy mayo like mix into the chicken. Granted the protein is heavy but I would of ordered something different had there been a clear description on what is exactly made of. We got the Fried Chicken Arepa Wednesday special and the Arepa Pabellon. Both were great.

Oh my goodness this place was the best for a quick and tasty lunch. They have a seating area inside and outside it's a small place. The service was beyond amazing, I cannot express how pleased I am about their service of the lady who took care of us. She was extremely nice and helped us get what we need besides the fact that she also made sure we were happy with our order. Their cachapa was OK not my favorite, I do not recommend eating them, but the Reina Pepiada was delicious made the right way and with so much yummy filling inside. The flavor was great and the chicken was tender. The best part where the tequeños, honestly the best I have had. I'm from Venezuela and I know how they were supposed to taste like and look like, and these were the best ever! They were big so it's not just the fact that they were tasty but also substations. I was lucky enough to try the Arepa Mixta 2 Carnes today. The perfectly cooked arepa came overflowing with delicious sausage, beef, pick de gallo, sauce, and cheese. The two meats were bursting with flavor. I especially liked the columbian sausage. Everything complimented each other so well. I would highly recommend trying Eparepa if you are in Doral and looking for a healthy and delicious meal. They also have great shaded outdoor seating available through the side entrance. I've been living in Miami for about 2 years now and I have never quite been able to enjoy Venezuelan food, or even their arepas. Long story, short, I just always found the arepas to be a bland thick tortilla and could just never get into the flavors. This is very unlike me, when it comes to Latin foods. I don't know how authentic Eparepa is, because I lack the experience, but I have thoroughly been able to enjoy their food here! The patacon and the delicious filling is really tasty, as well as their arepas. I've tried their beef arepas and I really like the combination of flavors between the meat and filling with the arepa. I think that this marriage between the flavor of the filling, in contrast to the arepa, is the key to its success! All the other arepas I've tried just didn't succeed in this area, which for my palate needs that "just right" balance I guess. The yucca fries are SOOOO GOOD! Definitely a must-have for those that like yucca! Key lime pie isn't the best I've ever had, but it's sinfully delicious! Their service is top notch, even when they are busy. They can feel slow during rushes, but they will always remain polite and professional. Interior is clean and the CDC's COVID-19 guidelines are in place, but the bathrooms look like someone began renovations, but then thought "eh, that's good enough...for my pocket." Also, during this 2020 Pandemic, the toilets are all unavailable...so unless you can go standing, all that's left is the sink (for hand-washing! What were YOU thinking?). Lastly, as I was writing this review JUST NOW, a group of 5 Nicaraguan men who were ordering, told me they'd never tried Venezuelan food before. I recommended the same things I've recommended here and it was amazing to watch them go back and order an additional 2 more times each! Man, they could EAT! They kept telling me how amazing the flavors of the food were. I've added the picture they let me take of them to this review. It made me happy that my recommendations went over well! You can tell that since they became "Eparepa" and dropped "Super Arepa" that their consistency and consideration for their clientele has drastically improved. Great place to get you arepas fix. Located in Doral on 87th avenue and 25th NW street. They have Venezuelan style hot dogs, subs, salads, arepas, burgers, tequeños, empanadas and more. I usually get the super arepa with grilled beef, pico de gallo, tartar sauce and cheese. It is huge and you will need to eat a bit of the filling with a fork before you are able to put a bite on the arepa. They also have some traditional desserts but my favorite is the coconut cepillado which is like an incredible cone with condensed milk on top. read more

Although the food still as tasty as before, their service has dropped a bit but I think it's because it was one person cleaning the tables, serving the food at the tables, taking orders and all of that. 3 of us came, ordered a cachapa with cheese "de mano" and also ordered the parrillada with 3 diff meats; pork, chicken and chorizo. They took forever to bring out the food. First, the cachapa came out and it was cold. Then we waited a little longer for the parillada and that was missing the chorizo. I had to tell them they missed it and they brought it. But still. For that reason I'm giving it 3 stars. Took long to get food, food was cold and missed items from the food request and also because staffing should be better to be able to handle the traffic of clientele. The place was very dirty when we came in. Not every table was full, but we kept jumping from table to table to find the most decent one. This turned me off a little as cleanliness is a must for me. We ordered the súper patacón (chicken) and it was HUGE! My brother got the súper pepito and it was also gigantic. Now I understand why they call it "super". The chicken was fresh, and the plátano too, but it was way too much chicken for the plátano. I also would've given it 5 stars if there was a wider selection of sauces. I believe they only had three, and the hot sauce you have to ask for it at the front. Both plates were tasty though and it didn't taste greasy, like other places I've tried. Stopped here after voting! It was right next to the Miami Dade Elections office (nice fun fact). First off I love the name of this establishment. Eparepa! I can't help but want to shout EPA. It's in a strip mall, but that didn't deter from its charm. Aesthetically, it was pleasing. I think due to covid of course restrictions had to be made as some of the booths were disassembled and crossed off and they had a laminated sign noting this on each of the booths that guests couldn't sit at. They were covid appropriate with the hand sanitizer, the signs for staying six feet apart etc. so that was good. The place looked clean. Had this old school charm to it. I haven't dined out at any restaurant since covid started so it was nice to do a to go order and actually walk in somewhere and order it at the counter face to face with someone. Big plus the counter attendant was wearing a mask! Yes, it's strange to say that in a review but times have changed and it's a "new normal" as I like to say. The food itself was good. Being of Venezuelan heritage I wanted to try this place out to see what it was all about as I saw it on the drive over to the Elections building. It didn't disappoint but I didn't think it blew me away. I hate to say that but I tell it like it is. I have had an arepa several months ago at an event in Wynwood where there were food trucks and that one was spectacular. It was melt in your mouth worthy and gooey cheesy deliciousness so this arepa had a lot to live up to. If I was basing my review off of the food alone I would say three stars would suffice. I also had tequenos which weren't bad, but were not amazing either sorry to say. I gave the extra two stars because of customer service as it was outstanding! The lady who take care of us was so nice and happy to have us there. She followed covid protocol and answered the questions I had. The order also came out in a timely manner. It's just that the arepa itself didn't stand out to me. The cornmeal breading that the cheese was sandwiched in tasted a bit bland. I also expected the cheese to be softer and gooier. We did get it to go and didn't end up eating it until fifteen minutes later upon purchase but still it was pretty well wrapped in tin foil and wax paper wrapping so that's something to consider. Would I go back? Probably not-mainly because it's not in close proximity to where I reside but I do want to support local businesses especially in times like these so I would recommend this: go to Eparepa! Try it out for yourself and see what you think. Everyone has different tastebuds. What I like may not be what you like and vice versa. As a side note, she did give us the option of choosing from two different types of cheeses for the arepa and we chose Queso de Mano. Perhaps I should've tried the other cheese? Who knows? I stopped by for a quick bite to eat during lunch and ordered the Mixed Patacon, with chicken and beef -- the Mixed option comes with your choice of two meats and you can choose from chicken, pork, or beef. It was pretty tasty, though portion size could've been slightly bigger. I ordered the patacon with a sweet plantain, which I haven't had as part of a patacon before. I've only had a patacon with savory green plantain, which was the other option that was available here. The portion size of the plantain in particular could've been bigger because I felt like I needed more to go with the filling, which also included lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and special sauce. I left the restaurant feeling like I could eat some more and think I would've been satiated with more plantain. Good food but a longer wait time is the headline. I have come in a couple of times the last week or so for lunch as it is close to my office. I have had the burritos and the arepas and both are good. Everything here has a Venezuelan twist. Everything tastes good here, seems fresh, and is reasonably priced. This is a fast dining place that is slow on the fast part. The service is friendly and nice. It is a prefect place to come for lunch or a casual bite, just again expect it take a little longer than you might expect. The drink sizes are a little on the smaller side, ...which is actually fine with me as it's good portion control on sugary drinks. There is plenty of seating inside and they have a TV which when I was in was tuned to Beinsports (perfect!). There is also some seating outside in a covered courtyard area.
