Decided to try something new and saw these great reviews. While this burger joint was not my favorite, it wasn't bad either. They have different burger creations. We tried the Takis burger, and I had the American burger. The Takis burger was interesting, but it was pretty much crushed takis on top of 2 smashed burger patties and cheese. The American burger was good, but it was drowning in mayo and ketchup, so it made my bun soggy, and I was not a fan of that. The burger was just too wet for the bun. I also found the patty to be too salty for my taste. I was happy to see truffle parmesan fries on their menu, and though not as truffly as I'd hope, they were far superior to the regular fries. Here we go again with another GonzoEats review. This place is in a shopping plaza so easy to expect it's just another place...... WRONG. The first thing that caught my eye was the damn sign you knew exactly which unit was PIPO Burger. So you pretty ugh sit yourself don't really expect some one to sit you down or greet you super friendly it's just not the place for it. Let's get to the food. The tequenos are good but can't say the best I've had. Here's the things the smash burger is worth the trip. For sure. It was honestly perfectly cooked and put together. The fries were really good crispy and not soggy. Overall good spot and price wasn't half bad for what we had. Ordered their sweet plantain balls filled with cheese 10/10 Friti burger was SO delicious and a MUST try. This burger has fried plantains in it. Gives it the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Comes with regular or sweet potato fries. I got the sweet potato fries and they were crispy, paired well with the burger Also tried their cachapa. This wasn't my fav. I didn't like the corn they used at all. For dessert, they have lots of options. I tried their tres leche which I recommend trying. The area is small, but the turnaround time of people eating and leaving it's quick so you don't have to wait so much. They also have a few tables outside and in the back. My friend and I shared everything. We ordered 1 order of regular fries, la quesa burger, pipo burger, shake, and tres leche. We loved the pipo burger!! We really liked the tres leche and the rest was good. The quesa burger was good, but the fried cheese overpowered the beef Patty, so personally for my friend and I we enjoyed more by eating by cutting the item and eating it by piece with fork along with their famous sauce. The shake just takes like a powdered chocolate shake, I enjoy more the McDonald's shake. Now the PIPO BURGER!! Bro!....Bro! That iissshh is just BOMB! No wonder it's so popular. So tasty, huge, beef patty cooked just right, all around good. I am on a mission to find my favorite hamburger in Miami, and wanted to try pipo's for a while. I was optimistic they were going to be what I am looking for, but they fell a little bit short. The hamburgers are good. Just not my style. I ordered the pipo burgers and it just had too much going on for me. I couldn't get the taste of the burger. My son ordered a frita burger and it was very good. More my style that one would be close to 4 stars. We also tried the plantains cheese ball and they were very good and for the dessert we got a 3 leches which was good, but I'm very picky with 3 Leches as I can actually do a very good one home. Honestly for me pipos was more like a 3.5 place, good will try again but I'm still looking for THAT hamburger place in Miami to blow me away. read more

The Smashing Pipos burger, may be my favorite burger in all of Miami, and I've tried all the big players: Ted's, USBS, TFTS, FBR, Skinny Louie, and this random Venezuelan spot just crushes it with the Smashing Pipos. I've had it 5 times and it never fails, amazing consistency. The regular fries are no good, would be great if they do a better job on this. And the other burgers look like gimmicks, not really interested in them, but the Smashing Pipos is so good maybe I'll give one of the other less crazy burgers a shot some day. read more

I didn't expect much from this place but I was pleasantly surprised. Very casual but welcoming vibe and they had funny videos playing on the TVs which were great for entertaining the kids. The meat was delicious and tender, fries were extra crispy, burger was cooked very well and they were not stingy on the sauce. I think it was a good hangover food or comfort Venezuelan food spot. Nothing says "I don't care about my customers" more than not providing free tap water. $3 a bottle is unnecessary. If you go with a group of 4 people you will spend $12 and you have to make sure you ration that water to avoid paying a total of $24 for water. read more

Was looking for a burger spot I happen to be near Doral and found Pipo Burger the burgers were greatly made fresh and juicy. We had the Classic smash burger juicy flat burger with cheddar cheese and pickles deli just how I love it also had the Texas bbq burger which was also juicy and delicious. We ordered the truffle fries which they were crispy with truffle, Parmesan cheese and topped with green onions loved it! The service was very welcoming and attentive. The location is small but very nice urban modern decoration the only dislike i had was the music was too loud for my taste. We did request if it could be lowered we were the only customers dining at the time. It was lowered a tiny bit but we were told they could not lower it so much because they are told not to. Music doesn't bother me it was just too loud for the space. But other than that the food was great! read more

I paid $50 for two burgers and fries (very expensive I know!) for food that I did not have the pleasure of eating. The address on Apple Maps was not correct even though the website on Apple Maps (which I ordered from) is correct. They've since updated (you're welcome!). I did not pick up on the error as I am not from Florida. I called the manager 15 minutes after my order was placed as the address took me to a private property near Gainesville, FL where I was staying. I let them know as soon as I was aware. The manager said that's not his fault, which is true, but he said if I could prove the address was incorrect via screenshots that he would refund me. Of course, I emailed the proof and no response. I have called several times and was hang up on and ignored. As someone whose worked in the food industry for years, I know the food did not go to waste especially as it was freshly cooked and the restaurant was let know promptly that I would not be able to pick it. Wasted $50, which included a tip (hope one of his servers or customers enjoyed it)! Does not seem like a restaurant with good principles but I'll never eat there to know for sure. read more
