The drive was not bad, close to home. I was thinking this spot was sitting off a main road, but it's located in the back with warehouses. The setting is outdoor only, tables and chairs, food truck, and a stage in the front. It wasn't pack, so we were immediately seated and provided with drinks. I did read reviews to bring cash to avoid the extra service charge. We ordered the mix plate w/ 3 sides (plantains with cheese, fried casava, and arepa. I was actually looking forward to trying the chicharrones, but unfortunately they weren't what I was hoping for. For my taste, I prefer chicharrones to be very crunchy, and these just didn't hit the mark. The service was okay, and it's worth noting that this is primarily an outdoor seating location for anyone expecting a traditional restaurant setting. I hate leaving less-than-perfect reviews, but I can't give five stars when the food didn't meet my expectations. Considering the price, I wasn't particularly impressed. Good experience over all... prices are a bit high however you do get a lot of food with each order. Really enjoy the atmosphere with the live music, specially when the "kings of bullying" are working the tables making fun of everyone they come in contact with. I don't know how they do it, but all their meat is so flavorful. My waiter was Alessandro, and I've never seen someone love their job like he does. It's like he himself cooked all the food, plus he took his time to explain all the options. I loved the ambiance and the way all the waiters danced to make the experience unique. The best place to ever exist! The food always hits. Every single side is fire, my favorites are fried yuca and the cheese arepas. I recently tried the tequeños and the sauce that came with it was so good I literally put it on everything. The servers are always so nice and quick considering the large amount of people always there. The ambiance is the best. They have live performers and a singer who improvises his songs according to the audience. After driving hours in traffic, we finally made it here but it was NOTHING like what they're advertising online. It was sooo hot, the fans didn't make a difference at all. There were bugs everywhere, I couldn't eat in peace because I was trying my best for the bugs to not get near my food. On top of that, the food was so expensive, $140 for a combo. Talk about fun in Miami! Live Llanera music from the plains of Venezuela while eating the most flavorful pork ribs cooked slowly smoked with sides as Venezuelan cheese, arepas and sweet plantain. The waiters are super friendly and quickly brought our delicious food. The festive ambience makes you want to linger after you finished your food. Seating area is outdoors under a tarp with plenty of fans to cool you down. I recommend going after 6pm when the weather is cooler and there is a nice breeze. Food is not worth the price! They have horrible customer service and crazy prices. They even charge $15 for kids to jump on a bounce house which should be free with prices of the food and drinks. Drinks are Miami Beach prices but half the size. The food is bad. I even had a waiter get my order wrong completely and tell me that it wasn't a big deal I should just eat what they brought me. I'm giving this a 2 star just because the service wasn't so good, and above all the food was way too over priced for being a food truck, they force an 18% tip and they also charge a 4% "service fee" on top of that. This is no high end restaurant in Brickell or Miami Beach to be charging high end restaurant prices.. The food was good, I'm not going to lie, since we were 4 we ordered the Combo 1 Mixto with Yuca Frita, Arepa, chorizo, cachapa and plátanos maduros and to drink we ordered a Jarra de Papelon ( which is a beverage made with raw hardened sugar cane juice, water and lemon). The first time we were here, it was incredible! The ambiance was great. We had a great time. There was live music, all the time. The food was good but a little bit too expensive, but we realized that for the music being live and the place being as it is, we were paying for more than the food. Yesterday. I was there with my family and friends, and it was totally different. The live music wasn't great they weren't selling alcohol they had an excuse that they had no license, even though we don't need to be drink to have fun, and the bathrooms were terrifying. The stalls were broken, it was dirty, paper was all over the bathroom, and the smell was pretty bad. If you are going to pay for pricy food, at least the place should give you what they offer. We haven't been, but there's a reason for that. We wanted to reserve for Mother's Day. We were a group of seventeen people. I texted back and forth with someone (because they didn't answer the phone in three days of me calling at different times throughout the day and night). I asked if they offered reservations. They replied that they do not...that it is first come, first serve. I responded that we are a sizeable group, in the hopes that there was something they would be willing to do. Their response was, "Llegue temprano " Look, I get it. If they don't offer reservations, that's their policy and their prerogative. I respect every business's right to do what they want. Great food truck. Food quality was great, meat was tasty. Yoxandra our server was very sweet and offered us the options adapted to what we wanted to eat, that was great.
