If you could only try one thing at Las Viñas, get the chicharron (pork belly). The meat falls apart in your hands, and the skin cracks when you take a bite. I have yet to try anything aside from the pork belly because I will go out of my way to just order a tray of this to take home. However, everything for the most part in the buffet is pretty reasonable prices and looks delicious. It is so satisfying to be able to pick out your own piece of pork belly, for them to cut it up into pieces in front of you. The only major downside is that the buffet is really meant to be carry out. You can't pick out items and eat it indoors because that area is its own separate restaurant. Nothing too bad though. I took a group of friends here for a little "east Hialeah food tour" and everyone was surprised at how good this was.

Came here with friends for our second stop of our Hialeah food tour. Counter service was quick and we ate outside family style. The chicharron was the juiciest and the flavor was just perfect. The boiled yuca was also very good - soft and the right amount of mojo flavor. Definitely worth driving to Hialeah for the food and the prices.

I absolutely fell in love with this authentic Cuban restaurant in where we call Cuba in Florida, Hialeah. They have the best Moro and bbq meats that will leave sucking all your fingers. The ambiance is very Spanish, Latin music playing, people laughing and others working giving exceptional service. Hands down one of my favorite places to eat some fresh food, friendly to my wallet and always leave happy. Highly recommend!! Thanks you Las viñas! ¡¡Altamente recomendado!! Gracias Las Viñas

First time here. In on a Thursday at 5PM. Small place with counter and table seating. Looks like they do a lot of take out. ORDERED: Pork Ribs with rice & beans. Very Bland. Plantains. Fried pork belly. The best part of the meal. Pork rinds VERY HARD. Prices are good. Nothing was very hot, just warm. They add a service charge (TIP) 18%. Pay with credit card surcharge 3.9%.

I usually buy food here and it's good but it's losing quality. Today I ordered an order. The chicken was out of date. It seemed old. The ribs were bad and damaged. They were missing an order of rice. The yucca was hard. None of my guests were pleased.

    Duplicated charge of $240

Maybe this place has low prices and good food, but costumer services and being honest is part of the game too. My wine called to place a order roast pork for our NYE Party. A deposit of $50 was paid over the phone with a remaining balance of $240 and $20 to be refunded when the tray was returned. The Roasted Pork wasn't as good as expected, it was super cold when I picked up, like it was standing for several hours by the scheduled "pick up time". The following week I retuned the tray and was charged $10 for not have clean it, neither me or my wife were aware of this fee. And today, I discovered a duplicated charge on my Credit Card, as you can see in the screenshot attached they charged $240 in 2 different days. When I called, the manager was not available to talk to me and they wanted me to go there in person to fix the issue... Are you kidding me!? I have too much thinks to do to be driving one hour for their mistake. Bye bye Las Viñas BBQ.

For my husband's birthday, we were having a party. We have a cigar shop so we planned to invite a lot of people. One of my customers mention this place and we went to order there. The price was a bit high, especially when giving away the food, so I told them if we could get a better price because in another place we order every year it was kind of half. They said, our food is cook with the best ingredients and we promise, you won't be disappointed. We were already there and we order something ad we love it so we decided to use their service. At the party, everyone says this is the best stuffed pork they ever eat. I had to go on Google and find the name of the place and text it to at least 7 people. The pork was tender and crunched. You could taste the flavor but not greasy at all. The rice was the best part. I totally love it. I believe we have a new place for our celebrations! "The pork skin is amazing (addictive!!!)." I agree with Bill W

I'm giving 3 stars for the service. Our server was nice, but there were a few things I wasn't too happy about. We were offered still or sparking water, so I said "still". I should've asked for tap water but it didn't cross my mind. The water was $12 which was a surprise since it was almost the price of the food! When I paid by card, the server with the credit card machine was on the phone speaking with the manager in Spanish. The screen of the credit card machine was faced away the whole time so we wouldn't have been able to see the total. It was a bit shocking being charged almost $37 for one dish that cost $17! The service charge is ~20% and already included in the bill. Even though the food was good, I felt a bit icky from this experience so I won't come again when I'm in Miami Beach. If it was only one of the above I would've been able to brush it off easier, but the combination of being charged for expensive water + not being shown the total before being charged + server being on the phone + 20% service charge before tip was quite a lot. I sat outside and it was really nice being right on the sidewalk and people watching! Cute restaurant and great location right in the heart of Miami Beach.

Our favorite time to visit is Sunday brunch, especially since they have a special menu. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.
