We hired Miami Grill Catering to prepare the welcome dinner for 70 people, the night before our son's wedding, at our home. We chose the surf and turf menu. It was absolutely delicious and very copious. The steak and seafood were cooked to perfection and the sides were extremely tasty. Antonio and his team were very professional and helpful. They helped set the tables, passed our chosen appetizers : ceviche, chicken empanadas and bacon wrapped dates and cleared quickly and efficiently . I reached out to Miami Grill Catering to see what options they could provide and ended up booking them! Whether it's BBQ, Mexican, or a luau you crave, they can probably make your dreams come true. We went with the whole pig and fish menu which comes with salad, rice and beans, maduros, and rolls. We also ordered a few hor d'oeuvres like empanadas for the cocktail hour. With so many out of town guests, we thought it was the perfect taste of Miami! I had a couple of phone conversations with Tony, as well as a tasting where we got to try an array of offerings prior to the big day. This was very refreshing as with dealing with vendors for your wedding they take days if not weeks to answer but this was not the case with Miami Grill Catering. They were fantastic! I love Miami. I really do. I'm a born-and-raised native who breathes and bleeds the 305. But real talk about my fair city: customer service (how shall I put this delicately...?), BLOWS. It's routinely terrible. When I have a good experience, I permanently etch that establishment's name in my mind because honey...they're few and far between. And so it goes with Miami Grill Catering. I was on the hunt for an affordable caterer to dish up a filling breakfast for my baby shower. From the moment I contacted the MGC crew, I was treated like a member of the family. But, like, a non-dysfunctional one. Because that would be weird. Tony was incredibly professional and accommodating. He answered all of my questions and bent over backwards to make sure I was 150% satisfied with my event. Liberty was amazingly sweet and patient with my millions of questions and requests: "what kind of forks do you guys use?" "can you work with my theme?" "do you have pitchers?" "will you give my aching preggo feet a good massage after the event?" (Answers: clear plastic, yes of course!, yes, ok I made up that last question). The day of the event they arrived right on time, quickly and quietly set up and churned out a gut busting breakfast of eggs, french toast, potatoes, ham, sausage, bacon and fruit for a crowd of 70 without skipping a beat. And ready for this...? All of that (including a coffee and juice station) for $11 per person. Seriously. It was almost too good to be true. But, no, it's true. They're just *that* legit. The decorations they provided with their tables were a perfect compliment to my event and looked stunning. Afterwards, they broke down the entire set up and cleaned up all of the garbage without causing much, if any, fuss or commotion. This stressed out preggo had one less worry on her mind that day, thanks to MGC. And that, my friends, is priceless. read more

After several attempts at getting other caterers to return my call to do a Caja China at our home, a friend of mine recommended Miami Grill Catering. From the first phone call, I was impressed. The wonderful Liberty picked up the phone on the second ring, emailed me detailed information, and confirmed a date right away. (I later had to postpone, and they were very cool about that, too!) The day of the event, Jaime and Jairo arrived. A stealth catering team! Within an hour and half, a tent, 4 tables, linens, flowers, lights, and of course the amazing food was all set up beautifully in my backyard. (And somehow, they changed into guayaberas without anyone noticing!) The guys were lovely, amazingly helpful, and easy going. My guests were a bit late (Miami time) and they saw me bringing out some appetizers. Immediately, Jaime and Jairo took over: made themselves at home in my kitchen, getting out the right platters, garnishing my appetizers and serving the crowd. The food was amazing. The Lechon flavorful and tender. (With plenty of chicharron to go around.) The frijoles negros and rice tasty, and the Yuca and salad divine. (Jaime even saved the pig ear for my dog, Roscoe.) When it was all said and done, they cleaned up in the same stealth fashion. After making a small buffet in my kitchen for late comers with the leftovers, they left my backyard completely spotless...no one even realized that they had cleaned up and left. (And they take out the trash!) I will definitely hire them again. Professional, Courteous, and Helpful. They went above and beyond to make our party a complete success! Miami Grill Catering did a great job at the kickball tourney this weekend. I know I was starving after 2 hard-fought games, and these guys delivered! The ribs were awesome, the potato salad was yum, and the chicken was out-of-this-world! Basted in their special sauce, it was truly worth the wait. I found Tony (the owner) through endless searches for caterers on Yelp & Google for a Nurse's Graduation Party I was coordinating. The reviews were high and I loved the variety and prices listed on the online menu. I contacted Tony and he was always quick to reply, I got a good vibe from him & he was very accomodating with custom requests. I chose the Parrillada Argentina for $16/pp provides salad, bread, churrasco, salchicha, chicken & chorizo! Potatoes or rice can be added at $1/each pp. We had about 45 ppl at our event and everyone RAVED about the delicious food. Especially the churrasco with the chimichuri sauce that melted in your mouth! The staff arrived on time as promised, set up the grills for cooking on the side of the house and set up a beautiful buffet table with flowers in our color scheme and nice linens. The staff are priced separately at $100/staff so we had 2: 1.cook/setup 2.serve/cleanup. I didn't have to pay as it was put on by a colleague, but I checked out their website that isn't listed; www.miamigrillcatering.com which isn't too flashy but has their menu. Based on what we ate, I am guessing we had the All-American BBQ. He set everything up and broke it down pretty easily, but most importantly is that the food was hot and the veggies/meat were fresh. The up-front discussion was accurate, it was clear right away they would go the extra mile when Liberty stayed late to get the contract sent over the same day. They were on time to the event, set-up went smoothly, and they were attentive to all the on-site requests. The food was GREAT, especially the meatballs and the ceviche, which were both big hits! The service was wonderful, too. I used Miami Grill Catering for my Company Holiday Party yesterday, 12/4/14 for over 500 guests. During the researching stage, Tony Morejon, the owner, was very responsive. I called him numerous times prior to booking, and he always was available to talk, provided me with the answers I needed, did not pressure me into booking, etc. I felt he genuinely cared about my event, my budget, etc. this allowed me to build a rapport with Tony - I felt so comfortable with him and really trusted him with this event.
