Very disappointed. Sent died flowers, it looks like someone threw them out and they kept it. Color of flowers is also changed, I don't know how can you you even think about delivering such pathetic flowers. Would never recommend anyone.

Amazing service! We had a wonderful time and they were so accommodating from the support with having a table for my mom who is a wheelchair user. It was so much fun for all ages. I highly recommend doing one of the decorating classes at Cake It!

I had an absolutely amazing time here last weekend! It was the greatest addition to my birthday weekend. My grandmother taught me how to bake early on, so I am good on that home front but I loved the idea of learning how to decorate to keep up with the times. When you book and if not booked far enough in advance, your event cake will be one layer of chocolate and one layer of vanilla. If booked well enough in advance, you can request double layers of vanilla. From there you select the cake decoration of your choice and voila it's the day of your event and time to decorate. From start to finish she assists you in decorating the cake and walk you through each step. She even comes around and assists you if your decoration isn't coming out quite right. You get two hours of the space and you are allowed to bring food, drinks and play your own music. Overall the experience was great! I wasn't a fan of the vanilla layer itself and I don't like chocolate at all but I would definitely come back if for nothing more than the experience.

Celebratesd my birthday with 10 of my girlfriends and had a blast! I didn't know what to expect as it was a surprise and I am way beyond pleased of the outcome. The owner and host Mimi, is a delight! She demonstrated how to decorate the cake using various tools and took her time to actually help each of us with our own cake design. The cake and frosting is delicious! All the ladies had a terrific time!

This place was so cute! I loved it! I decided to do this for my birthday! You are able to decorate and keep a cake for $40. I do wish you could book with less than 8 people since not everyone has a big group. They do host classes for drop in but they are usually spread out on holidays. Other than that it was great, such cute decor, and you can bring food and drinks and decorations. It's a 2 hour time slot so you have time to talk eat, drink socialize before starting. The owner was so sweet and nice and I loved listening to her story of how she got started. I wish there was something similar in Orlando. I will for sure be back!!!

    Poohs shirt was rushed on.

Ordered a cake for my baby shower, asked for a 10 AM pick up since the shower started at 12PM. As my friend went to pick up the cake, they told her it wasn't ready and needed another hour. Okay, no problem. Sent my mother in law over to collect the cake on her way to the shower, it was around 12pm... cake was still NOT finished. Asked for yet another hour.. that hour turned into 2... then 3. My baby shower was over at 4:30 and we received the cake at 4pm.! They offered free delivery and expected the full payment, even though she was borderline 4-5 hours late with a cake that was ordered weeks in advance!! The fondant work was very rushed, the shirt on Pooh was rushed and not neat, and there was bubbles with the fondant work. Aside from being 4 and a half hours late and rushed work, the cake tasted delicious. And looked gorgeous if you ignored the fact that it was last minute.

Firi, I cannot express how amazing the bridal shower cake turned out. You made my vision come to life and made it even more stunning. My daughter loved it and all the guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous it was. And the flavors!!!!! Wow, just wow. To have a cake that looks beautiful is one thing, but then to have it taste as delicious as it looks is out if this world! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will definitely be ordering more cakes from Cake It.

This was such a nice group event. I came here to celebrate someone's birthday. We had a great time the instructor was very knowledgeable about her craft. She gave clear instructions on how to decorate the cake. Then if you couldn't do it she had no issue with helping you. The cake was delicious I would definitely come back and do this again.

Mimi is such a pleasant person to interact with. She was hands on when you need her and did such a great job with demonstrating each step. My friends and I had such a great time. I feel motivated to try on my own time.

I love it here! I visited Cake It for my birthday celebration this year. It was such a fun learning and enjoyable experience. The instructor gave a visual demonstration of what to do but still allows us to customize our cakes to our own liking. It was super affordable and I've been recommending her to everyone. Plus the cakes tasted amazing!! Will definitely be returning.

As a proud Cuban who lives right in the neighborhood, she brought every street, mural, and bite to life with stories you won't find in any guidebook. * Expert storytelling: Toni blended history, culture, and fun facts so effortlessly that the past felt present around every corner. * Fantastic food line‑up: From the first crisp empanada to the last sip of strong Cuban espresso, every stop was spot‑on--and those freshly muddled mojitos were chef's kiss. * Behind‑the‑scenes moments: Watching master rollers craft cigars up close was fascinating, and Toni's insider connections meant we got front‑row views. * Warm local vibe: She knew shop owners by name, waved to neighbors, and made us feel like part of the community--not just tourists passing through. I think it was a really good range of drinks, desserts, and food. Even though that coffee cup looks small, that's a full serving size and it was strong! I really really appreciate that this tour not only accommodated for vegetarians but also chose options for me that were realllllly good. Instead of the cubano, I had these fried plantain cups stuffed with veggies. They were SO good and seasoned well! And the spinach and cheese empanada was also amazing. My friend who got the meat options also loved her food. This tour is the perfect way to learn more about Cuban history, the history of the neighborhood, see all the street art, watch a game at domino park, and experience some of the best food in Miami. I cannot recommend this enough!!!

It was my fathers 80th birthday. My large family rented a home for a long weekend in February. I hired Stu to cook one "special" celebratory meal, and to stock the kitchen. He stocked the kitchen! That gets 4 stars on its own, but what happened after gets a negative 6 stars. This guy was terrible. First, he showed up two hours early to our initial in person meeting the day before the big dinner. Being vacation, I lost track of time. I remarked that I didn't realize time had flown by, and I couldn't believe it was noon already. His response "it's 10am. I work on my time, not yours". This should have let me known all I needed to know about this guy. The following day, he showed up several hours early. He arrived before 7am, when he was supposed to come at 10:30. He let himself in, and went to work in the kitchen. Having 16 people in one house can get messy. Luckily I planned and had two full time housekeepers. We, the guests, didn't leave dirty dishes on the table after dinner. We discarded the food, and rinsed the plates. We did leave the washing to the housekeepers to tend to in the AM. Unfortunately for our early (very early, and unannounced chef) there were plates in "his kitchen". He referred to it as his kitchen. It was only his second time there. And he wasn't a guest. He was a well compensated employee for the weekend. Here's when it gets great. That same morning I get a knock on the door. My bedroom door. The door I was asleep on the other side of. This was around 9:30am. It was the chef! I didn't know it was him until he walked in. My partner and I were completely asleep 25 seconds prior. When I asked Stu why he was in my room, and if everything was ok, he started berating me for everything from leaving the kitchen in the condition it was in to letting me know how inappropriate it is to have a housekeeper bring me coffee in the morning. Had he arrived on time, the kitchen would have been sparkling. I won't even address the delivery of coffee, because it's my money that pays for the supplying of coffee, and the making of the coffee. I will have my coffee how I wish. After our two "run ins" I decided I would rather figure out how to make a dinner for 15 people on my own than deal with this person again. I dismissed Stu. But, of course, not before he could manage to make several threats. I am sure I will hear from this guy. What I said above is 100% true without embellishment. I have at least 9 adult witnesses (several lawyers, Stu). In hindsight, it was a little bit of entertainment. He managed to be the biggest drama in a family full of large personalities. But, far too expensive for the quality of the entertainment. I recommend the circus. FYI: this guy never cooked for me or my family, though he demanded several hundred dollars for his "services". My credit card company and I couldn't pinpoint any service preformed. Don't do it to yourself. Find someone else.

Located in Miami Gardens off of 47th Ave and 199th street inside Landmark. My child was diagnosed with specified learning disability back when he was in pre-school in 2005. My son went to public school (Maya Angelou )for Pre-K with no issue. It's 2006-2007 school year at Maya Angelou Elementary and my child was placed in a class with (30) students. I found it a little excessive especially for students in special education. I was told by the counselor that the class was split with (15) special education students and (15) regular students. My son has a twin brother who also was attending the same school. Homework would come home and I actually saw that the homework for my special need son was more difficult than my son who was in a regular normal kindergarten class. I was back in forth with the school administration and was told due to lack of school funding my son will not be able to get the individualized attention that he needed. My son was literally struggling in class and was not up to level in his class. I was getting very frustrated because, I did not want my son getting lost in the system, progress reports were given and it read improvement needed in all learning categories. I called the school district, went to downtown to speak with the school board members and that didn't help. The school counselor gave me an option and was advised that my son qualified for the McKay scholarship. I was elated. I looked on the MDPS website and a directory of private schools who participated and accepted the scholarship. I visited many private schools and none were either to my standards or the tuition was over excessive to my opinion and I pretty much had to come out of pocket. Thanks to the search engine google.com, I came across at that time Sandor Wiener School of Opportunity (charter school). I was very impressed with the information on the website and I scheduled an appointment. I went to the school and they pretty much catered to children with learning disabilities The classroom ratio was 10:2 with each teacher having an assistant and nurse for those students with medical issues. The teacher would have group sessions and also had individual time with each student. I fell in love with the school and quickly requested my son to be transferred. The school also provided free transportation within a ten mile radius which was also a plus (not far from my mother's address). I only paid for his reduced price lunch. The year 2009 came around and the school decided it was best for them to go private and were teaming up with The ARC of South Florida. I began panicking because my son was doing so well in his class and his grades were improving. The administration had a meeting with me and pretty much my son will be grandfathered in (yeah) and what ever the Mckay scholarship amount he received, the school will accept the amount and I did not have to come out of pocket. The school changed its name to Ace Academy. I appreciate the staff, teachers, student. My son has done a whole 360 when it comes to his education, he enjoys going to school and learning. They have two other locations in the south side (Kendall and Florida City).

THE CONS The NEW OWNER, JEANIE, needs to learn some manners or control her mood swings. Normally she's pleasant. One can tell she doesn't have much to do other than wait around for the very few customers that walk in. Today she was TOO BUSY reading people magazine TO HELP me when I asked her a question about a specific nail color. She said, "I don't know. YOU have to look for it." I felt like I was bothering her and she DID NOT CARE TO HELP. And later when I politely asked her for the time she said she didn't have it yet her iphone was right next to her. When I pointed it out she finally gave me the time. Then she RUSHED ME OFF the nail dryer asking me if I was ready to pay saying I had been done a long long time ago. She ignored the fact that the nail tech had just checked my nails and told me they were still wet. The worst part was when she went to charge my card. Jeanie told Amelia, the nail tech, to tell me that she did not have cash in the register therefore she could not add her tip to the total amount. (This is how I ALWAYS paid in the past.) She DIDN'T ASK what I wanted to do. She JUST CHARGED MY CARD the total minus the tip. When I asked Jeanie directly why she couldn't charge it and give it to Amelia at a later time or even tomorrow Jeanie said, "What? I don't have it. I don't know what you're talking about." And turned around and WALKED AWAY mumbling. HOW RUDE! Jeanie does not deserve any new business if she DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO TREAT her current clients. I hope Amelia finds a better job and a better boss that is not DISRESPECTFUL and MOODY.
