As others have said, I can't begin to describe Chef Cal and his team but let me try. They are fun, passionate about their craft, professional, responsive and go out of their way to make sure your event is a success and that you and your guests want for nothing. I have NEVER EVER EVER had such good food that was catered. I cook and my home is the "go to" spot for holidays so this is a testament to Chef Cal and his team. Everything was flavorful and seasoned to perfection. We had chicken & shrimp tacos with a spicy aioli, fruit skewers, crispy royale oysters, grilled shrimp skewers with pineapple salsa, crab stuffed mushrooms, bronzino, truffle mac and cheese, green beans and rolls. For dessert, we had the Chef Cal's Doughtnut show and we had to stuff those in but they were so good. We also add his signature drink, the Smoking Watermelon which had people who saw it posted on my pages asking me for days what was it and how did he do it. Anyone who has parties know that food can make or break an event. Hire Chef Cal and you will be blown away! I'm going back to FL in October and will be reaching out to him this week to get things set up.

In addition to being a true master of his craft (the food was better than most fine dining experiences), Chef Cal is an ambassador of Southern Hospitality (the service was attentive, warm, and personable). This past Friday night will go down as one of the most memorable nights of all time within our family. Thank you for that, Chef Cal! We are already looking forward to next time, and if you're in the market for a private chef in South Florida, look no further (and thank yourself later).

I enjoyed how Marina added her own personal touches to make brunch just that more enjoyable. Marina & her partner were both polite and attentive to our needs throughout their service which I really appreciated and would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a chef for any given occasion but especially for a private/intimate occasion.

Ayesha's energy is so contagious, we are all excited to get to cooking! This cooking class is not your usual cooking class. Instead of partnering with someone to cook each meal, everyone kind of just broke up in to groups and focused on different dishes. It was a bit chaotic but so much fun! Who knew cooking along a group of strangers in a strangers home could be so effortless? Ayesha made everything very easy. I attended the This Is It - Lamb course. We cooked a delicious salad, okra, lamb kebabs and lamb Rogan Josh. Every bite of each dish was out of this world. The food was lighter than Indian cuisine I've had in the past, I noticed she didn't use nearly as much cream as some recipes I've seen. Ayesha also taught us plenty about Indian spices and their multifunctionality. It's too bad that Ayesha lives all the way in Kendall. If she lived closer, I'd be over all of the time! Greta group activity or date night, totally worth it!

Chef Wes and Lluvia were absolutely amazing! I wish I was a better writer to describe everything…read moremore than "amazing" and "the most delicious thing I've ever eaten" but I don't. Instead I will tell you to just go ahead and boom Chef Wes. We booked him for my dad's birthday. He called to help with the menu because everything on his website sounds divine. And I said that. While we originally picked like 8+ items from each course, we ended up with 3 appetizers, soup, salad, surf n turf, and dessert. It was too much food but there is not a single item I wouldn't order again. We had coconut shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, and tuna cups for appetizers. I don't even like shrimp that much but omg he may have converted me. Or ruined me because no shrimp will ever come close to tasting that good. The second course was cuban black bean soup and wow! I could've finished with these 4 things and still given a raving review. We weren't planning on soup because it was so hot but I'm so glad we did! Make sure to get the cuban black bean soup. Then we had Watermelon salad that was the perfect amount of fresh fruit over mixed greens and a balsamic dressing. Yum! Our entree was surf and turf. Since we didn't catch anything fishing, Chef Wes picked up fresh Mahi Mahi and topped it with a delicious salsa. The filet was cooked to buttery perfection. The green beans were so garlicky and crunchy and delicious. We had potatoes that we thought would be a nice addition but we're actually seasoned amazingly and was one of the best surprises of the entree. Then when many of us were stuffed to the brim because it was all so good and we couldn't stop eating, we had the Mangoes morada. Fresh Mangoes over ice cream topped with cinnamon sugar almonds and a grand Marnier and chocolate drizzle. The cherry on top of a perfect evening. Chef and Lluvia were just so friendly. We really enjoyed their conversation during our m3al. They timed courses well. We had a few breaks to rest between the later courses and a bit longer before dessert. Lluvia left our rental spotless. She was just so great. I cannot say anything better about our experience for the night. Make sure to book Chef Wes for any meal while you are in the keys. He is worth every penny. Thank you for such a great experience!
