Bianca was beyond wonderful as our little Havana food and culture tour guide. She was personable, considerate, informative, passionate, engaging, relatable, energetic, all the things! She accommodated my non-alcoholic/dietary restrictions and she provided superb recommendations for everything (coffee, cigars, authentic souvenirs, pastries, etc). I'd recommend this tour and Bianca to everyone! Happy travels!

This tour was amazing. Our tour guide Ariel was informative, fun, and engaging. Definitely come hungry bc you eat A LOT!!! If you're worried about the walking, it's so minimal with plenty of breaks while you are eating. I wouldn't have wanted to see Little Havana any other way. Thank you, Ariel!!!!

Ariel was an amazing guide. The food was fantastic. And, the atmosphere was lovely and energetic. In Little Havana.

Bianca was our tour guide for this 2.5 hour guided cultural and food tour - it was awesome! Kind of overwhelming how many people where on Calle Ocho in Little Havana doing walking tours but we only felt rushed at one place where we had to keep moving for the next group. For $69, the tour was very worth it in my opinion - we got a cubano, alcoholic mojito, coffee and beef picadillo empanada, guava and cheese pastry, churro and drinks. Our tour was made incredibly special too because Bianca recently made it to the US from Cuba and it was so touching to hear her story. I didn't know much about Cuban history but it was really interesting and I loved all the murals and roosters we saw along the way. Would 10/10 recommend this tour! So authentic.

I originally only planned to book the most popular Little Havana Food Tour, but I ended up booking one more tour because the group would rather do more food tour than doing speedboat/jet ski/pool party/spa/kayaking. *** Tour #1 Wynwood Art District Food Tour *** [Logistic]: $89 per person for 2.5-hour tour & I had to book a tour via Tripadvisor & not directly through the company website. Our tour started at 1 PM & met our guide at Wynwood Garage (311 NW 26th Street, Miami, FL 33127) w/ $20 flat parking rate up to 5 hours. We actually parked our car for almost 7 hours & ended up paying $40 instead. Please check-in 5 minutes prior to scheduled time. It's customary to tip the tour guide much like at a restaurant (18% to 20%). [Stops]: Joe's Pizza (Sicilian pizza), Wynwood Walls (free entry), Rodilla (cheese & red wine in a plastic cup w/ ice cubes), Bartaco (duck & mushroom tacos), UDON Wynwood (takoyaki), Morelia Gourmet Paletas (paletas - ordered pistachio), & Veza Sur Brewing Co. (Cafe Con Flan aka beer coffee - Coffee Porter combined w/ flan foam). [Overview]: A solid 4-star food tour w/ 20% of time exploring Wynwood Walls. While Bartaco, Morelia Gourmet Paletas, & Veza Sur Brewing Co. were amazing stops, Rodilla & UDON Wynwood were slightly underwhelming. However, our second tour Little Havana Food & Cultural Tour completely blew Wynwood Art District Food Tour out of the water. *** Tour #2 Little Havana Food & Cultural Tour *** [Logistic]: $69 (plus $4 fee) per person for 2.5-hour tour. I booked directly through the company website & our tour started at 12 PM. We started at the Tower Theater. Free outdoor parking (via PayByPhone app location 45350) behind Maximo Gomez Domino Park (901 SW 15th Ave, Miami, FL 33135) until 6 PM. Check-in 5 minutes prior to scheduled time. It's customary to tip the tour guide much like at a restaurant (18% to 20%). [Stop #1 - El Cristo Restaurant]: Our guide briefly discussed four different types of Cuban coffee - Cafecito (Cuban version of espresso w/ sugar), Colada (the social coffee - meant for sharing), Cortadito (cafecito w/ a little bit of milk) & Café con leche (Cuban version of the latte). He also talked how pastelitos & empanadas are a part of Cuban breakfast traditions. The El Manisero (aka the Peanut Vendor or Peanut Man but his real name is Francisco Cazanas) also stopped by & offered $1 peanut. We had a beef empanada, a side of very spicy salsa, & a small cup of colada. [Stop #2 - Sala'o Cuban Restaurant & Bar]: We had Cuban sandwich & basic ingredients included Cuban bread, ham, roast beef, pickle, & mustard. Our guide said the secret ingredient for tasty Cuban sandwich is ... lard. In addition everyone also had one glass of mojito & I got a non-alcoholic version which tasted VERY sour. It was also nice to have a band playing Cuban music. [Stop #3 - Maximo Gomez Domino Park]: No food here. Our guide explained that only 55+ years old & Miami Dade County residents can qualify for membership which is required to play domino here. [Stop #4 - D' Asis Guayaberas]: The owner Johnny "Big Poppa" Cardona explained to our group the history of 4-pocket guayabera shirts. He was cracking jokes & also talked about Jimmy Butler's yellow guayabera (https://youtu.be/DRlRBMKdB5M). My friend ended up buying exactly the same Jimmy Butler's yellow shirt for himself (close to $80 even after receiving 10% discount). [Stop #5 - Party Cake Bakery]: Everyone had one guava pastelito & there was a giant overhead mural of Cuban's most famous singer Celia Cruz w/ her signature catchphrase "Azúcar!" right above the shop. [Stop #6 - Casa del Tabaco]: We got to see the owner & master roller who has been doing this craft for 30+ years. She used to roll cigars when she lived in Cuba & now she only rolls cigars once a week w/ her daughter taking over the business. Our guide mentioned that Cuban rolled cigar are rolled using the exact same technique here & using the same type of tobacco leaves, but the only difference is where these tobacco leaves are sourced due to the current embargo w/ Cuba. Lastly our guide recommended lighter color cigars for the 1st timer & darker color cigars for stronger flavors. I didn't buy any cigars, but apparently you can take them back domestically & they will pass TSA. [Stop #7 - Los Pinarenos Fruteria]: The fruit stand offered freshly pressed mango juice & they were pressed by a master juice presser who has been pressing juices for over 30 years. The mango juice was so good that I actually came back & purchased one giant cup of mango juice after our tour had ended. [Stop #8 - The Havana Collection Experience/Rooster Alley/Churro Mania]: Our tour ended w/ churro & photo-op on vintage cars & The Calle Ocho Rooster statue. [Other miscellaneous facts]: Our guide talked about Ball & Chain & Tower Theater (top 10 theaters in US). [Overview]: A 5-star food + cultural tour & one of the best food tours I have ever had. Absolutely a MUST do tour in Miami.

My husband & I recently did this tour and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Miami. Our guide, Toni, was fantastic. She was able to share a bit of personal experiences with the history of the Little Havana neighborhood which really brought the facts to life! While the emphasis is on the food, as it should be, don't overlook this vibrant neighborhood that has so much life to it! Thank you Toni for a wonderful afternoon!

Can't recommend the Little Havana Culinary and Historical tour enough! Really a wonderful experience and I will definitely be signing up for another one of the Miami Culinary Tours next time I'm in South Beach.

We had such a wonderful time on this tour! We booked this as a team bonding event and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Our guide Eriol was incredibly knowledgeable, hilarious, and hospitable. I've been to Little Havana before but never like this. We saw the neighborhood from a whole new perspective with added depth and history to enrich the experience. Every stop along the way was fantastic -- it was hard to choose a favorite. I've tasted all the Cuban classics before this tour and was blown away by all the versions we had on the tour. Best Cubano I've had in my life! Nothing beats Little Havana and this tour is the best way to see it. Come with an empty stomach for sure. 11/10 would recommend.

Really fun tour with a great guide and great food! We took the little Havana walking tour with Marco and it was amazing. We learned so much about the area and Cuban American culture while also sampling some really tasty authentic Cuban American food. So much food that I was stuffed afterwards. Can't say enough about it, really a must-do if it's your first time in Miami.

Wonderful experience! Orlando led us around and had us trying different foods. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything. He had many interesting facts and stories you would never hear without touring with him. His personality was very fun and friendly. He obviously had a great connection with the community and cares about the culture. I couldn't have asked for a better tour of the area! He also took us to places with extreme quality of food and drink. Everything was authentic and full of flavor.

Empanadas, colada and Cuban sandwiches, oh my! I've lived in Miami almost six years but even as a tourist, I never took the time to do a tour through Little Havana. This was a truly great experience, in large part to our guide Armando. He and his family are from Havana and do tours both here and there. He is so incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited and the origins of the great food we got to enjoy while on the tour. We ate empanadas, Cuban sandwiches and churros. We drank mojitos, colada and pressed sugar cane water. We visited a cigar factory, Domino Park, restaurants, a bakery with the best puffed pastries, a fruit market and the historic monument site. Can't go wrong with this. Would highly recommend!

I recently visited Miami and absolutely wanted to check out Little Havana. I booked this food tour so I can check out a few local spots and learn more about the culture and history of Little Havana. Our tour guide was Helena and she was great! She texted me the morning of and asked if we had any allergies in our group and if we all ate beef/pork and drink alcohol. I don't eat pork so she made note of that and made accommodations. Her instructions were very clear and our entire tour group was right on time. Parking can be a little tricky as it is street parking, but we circled around a few times and finally snagged a spot. Helena told us lots of stories and the history of Little Havana while we enjoyed the food. In terms of food, there was TONS of food and I was pretty stuffed by the end of the tour. It went by pretty quickly and we spent the rest of the afternoon exploring Little Havana after our tour ended. Definitely recommend booking a food tour through Miami Culinary Tours and checking out Little Havana!

The meet-up point is the Art Deco Welcome Center in South Beach, located in a park adjacent to the beach at 10th Street. We parked in a pay-lot about 4 blocks away on Washington Street. There were plenty of spaces when we arrived at 9:45 a.m. or so, but it was pretty full later when we left (a bit before 1 p.m.). I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was under $10! We checked in and were invited to browse the gift shop or to check out the Art Deco Museum. We did both. They also issued us lanyard-and-headphone combos for the tour. They had enough people booked such that they split it into 2 tours. Whoever was there a bit early was assigned to the first one, and we headed out by 10:20 a.m. Our guide was Howard. He had a voice that carried quite a ways, so we didn't end up needing the headphones. Given the topology, there were no hills to climb. Everything was uniformly flat. The tour began with a short history of Miami Beach, the concept of Art Deco, and why there happened to be a concentration of the style there. They later touched on how the preservation efforts saved it in the 1970s. Much of the rest of the tour was walking up Ocean Blvd (as well as some other streets) with Howard pointing out features on various buildings and how they reflect various aspects of Art Deco. It also involved the history of the buildings and what they are used for currently. We went into the lobby of one hotel for an interior glimpse. The tour also included a few other miscellaneous structures along the route (Versace's mansion and the oldest remaining house on the island, from 1916). The tour wrapped up after a bit over 90 minutes back near the visitors' center where it started. I thought this was quite a good overview of the subject and provided a lot of insights about the area and its history. If you have an interest in Art Deco and this area, you should definitely check it out.

Unlike other places where you can buy online and get a printed ticket, for this you have to download their app, purchase through it and show your phone to check in. I am not exactly thrilled at being forced to download another app but I guess that's where the world is heading. Parking - there are numerous garages and street parkings nearby, and even valet, some options less expensive than others. We timed to arrive a little early so we could circle around a bit to find parking on the street. The exhibit starts like a typical museum exhibit, some videos, some reproduced paintings along with caption, which gives you some basic background of Van Gogh's life and talent. The highlight is the main immersion experience. There are rugs and beanbags on the floor, as well as chairs and benches, for you to sit down and enjoy the looping show. The vibrant colors and emotive music really let you immerse yourself in his paintings. They also add some animation by moving parts of the painting (like a boat or the birds). There is minimal narration, except for a few lines of Van Gogh's words. Some may consider the pace a bit slow but I think it's perfect for letting you really sink into that feeling, whether it be the beautiful nature or the psychotic mind. I was also glad to pay the extra $5 for the virtual reality experience, which gives me a better understanding of his work, as you stroll along the village and see where he sets up his canvas, so to speak. The show suggests that the whole experience takes an hour, but I ended up staying for almost 3 (watched both the VR and immersive twice), and probably won't mind spending even more.

We showed up at 9:10 AM, exactly as instructed, only to be told our booking had been moved to 11:30 AM without any notice whatsoever. No email. No call. Nothing. Just "oh yeah, it was changed." From there, it was 30 minutes of standing around, being sent back and forth between employees who clearly had no idea what was going on. Eventually, we were told we'd receive a refund and a free boat tour as compensation for the inconvenience. Sounds reasonable, right? Except when they went to process it, they tried to charge the boat tour tickets against the refund credit -- essentially undoing the compensation they just promised. If we hadn't been paying attention, we would have been charged anyway. Luckily, we caught it, demanded clarity, and only then did they issue a full refund and actually give us the boat tour tickets for free like they said they would in the first place. The boat tour itself (celebrity homes) was fine -- nothing special -- but that's not the point. We're locals who intentionally tried to spend the day as tourists, and this experience made it painfully clear how miserable this must be for out-of-towners who don't know better. Disorganized, misleading, and careless with customers' time and money. Miami deserves better than operations like this -- and tourists definitely do.
