TLDR tips: The tour will be longer than you expect…read moreThey will upsell you on everything (do not buy VIP, book online) Expect to pay in cash before the tour Expect to be harassed for tips BE PUNCTUAL or be left behind This is NOT an ACCESSIBLE tour option Your tour depends completely upon your tour guide - no consistency We booked online last night for just the Miami city tour this morning - it was supposed to be $29 and to pay by card. I'm so glad we booked online because it seems like if you book in person they upsell you like crazy. I saw people with "VIP" stickers - VIP means nothing. At best dishonest and at worst, predatory. Once you book they tell you that you'll need to pay in person a half hour before your trip, which for us was 8:30. Once we paid, we were on the bus and moving AT 9 am, so make sure you are punctual. When we arrived to pay 8:30 am, the people at the counter were annoyed that we were there (we must have interrupted their social hour) and told us at their systems were down so we HAD to pay by cash. Ok, sure. It ended up being $65 instead of $58. Keep in mind that every driver and tour guide you have with this company will be aggressively nudging you for tips. The bus seats are very dirty and the stairs are narrow as heck. I saw this tour was advertised as completely accessible. This is not true. If you are a wheelchair user, do not book this tour. The ride wasn't very educational (you can learn more by Wikipedia), but it would have cost us more in car rental or Ubers to explore the city ourselves, so it gains one star for that. The tour guide was also pausing his "tour" to yell at every single person who looked to be a tourist that we were on a tour and they should join us. We were told this tour would be 2.5 hours with an hour lunch break. We were at the office at 8:30 to check in like they requested, and didn't get back to our starting point until 1:30 pm. The only way we could've gotten back earlier would've been to ditch the bus and get an uber or Lyft. At about 11 am, the driver and tour guide dropped us at a glorified bus station (fake turf, 2 toilets, 2 food trucks, a bar, and cornhole) for over an hour, after promising we'd be gone in a half hour and vaguely threatening us to be on time. We did not leave that bus station until 12:30. I called the main office twice to check where our bus was and if they were even still coming to pick us up. An hour and a half wait is insane especially when you expect a half hour. We also did not purchase a boat tour (thank god) so we had to wait on the bus as they tried to get more customers and stopped at every bus stop between the Marina and their office on Lincoln. We didn't get off the bus from 12:30-1:30, and were vaguely laughed at when we asked the ETA. IDK, we had some good points of this tour, but we were not expecting for a FIVE HOUR expedition where they tried to upsell us at every turn, and then treated us like nothing when we didn't pay more or didn't have extra cash to tip since we didn't know we had to pay in cash for the tickets. We lucked out by booking the 9 am otherwise our entire day would've been wasted by being held hostage by this tour company. We were lucky to have the rest of the day after we were finally dropped off at 1:30.

The driver has lived here 3 months and speaks no English. Shared it took him 7 years to get through…read morethe border. Dude who has scant knowledge of the area talked way too much. Then used an English translation app for all of us to listen to him. OMG. The English translation missed about 20% of what was said. When he wasn't pontificating about local celebrities he was talking on his phone. Additionally, he talked with his hands! One hand held his phone to his ear while the other gestured in the air. Neither hand held onto the steering wheel. Make it stop. His driving was scary in that he made unsafe lane changes and honked at vehicles that didn't go fast enough, were where he wanted to be, or, ???? To add insult to injury, despite having paid for this trip in advance, they wanted even more $. I was charged a $2 administrative fee when I checked in. I am so shocked to the degree the driver connived for tips. He stated he was paid quite poorly as a driver. All those thick gold chains on his wrists. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The gentleman picked up my family 6 adults from Miami airport on time and drove us to The Elser Hotel. The next day your service drove us to the cruise port. Great service! One week later we return from the cruise I call to let them know we are waiting I'm told 7-10 minutes and the driver not only was an hour late but he has other passengers in the vehicle. I didn't complain about his tardiness or that my ride should have been private. When he dropped us back at The Elser I called VIP to arrange for an earlier pickup the next day afraid that the driver would be late again. I asked for a 5:00pm pickup and once again the car was late. He finally showed up at 5:15 or so and once again more passengers are in our private car. I proceeded to ask for his name and he refused 3 times before saying his name was Carlos. I really don't believe that was his name. I can say that he was rude, unprofessional and a wreak-less driver. I also would like to add that on both days the father figure of the others in the car proceeded to help him put our luggage in and out of the vehicle which I find strange unless of course he was transporting them without VIP knowing. "Carlos" might have a side job going that VIP is unaware of. In my opinion this man should not be working for any reputable car service.

IncredibleI should be leaving two reviews one for last November and one for this November…read more Last November 2017, I went to Cuba with my parents which isn't easy being that my mother is Cuban born. Just getting her on the plane required a H11 visa, a tiny piece of paper that requires a Cuban background check to allow Cuban born people to enter the country. Yaima Paez held my hand through the entire process of gathering paperwork, assembling and doing her part on her end to make sure it was received and my mother was able to visit the country of her birth. Thanks to Yaima everything went smoothly at the airport. We arrived and were met by our oncuba chofer , an incredibly charming man named Santiago who worked with us for the duration of our stay making us feel comfortable and safe. Yaima arrainged for us to see Vinales, las Terrazas, Varadero as well as getting us great seats at Tropicana. Oncuba not only made our trip possible but also unforgettable. Nov 2018 This time around we are going all in and Yaima had the patience of a saint dealing with my OCD while I applied for my mother's Cuban passport. This process took some time and back and forth between havana , miami , and New York but Yaima got me my mothers passport in time and on my mothers birthday! I am so happy with the service I received.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with American Airlines that completely disrupted my day…read moreand night On 5/2/26. My flight was scheduled for 3:35 PM, and I arrived at the airport at 12:00 noon--well ahead of time. From there, everything went downhill. The flight was first delayed to 4:15, then to 5:50, then again to 7:00 PM with little to no meaningful communication. When we finally boarded, we sat on the plane only to be told there were mechanical issues and had to return to the gate. During this time, the cabin became extremely hot, and passengers were visibly uncomfortable and sweating. After deplaning, we were sent from one gate to another multiple times with no clear direction. The chaos continued when we couldn't board another flight because the flight attendants had timed out. Then, after replacements were found, the pilot timed out as well. At 10:30 PM, we boarded again, only to sit until 11:30 PM waiting for yet another pilot. We didn't take off until midnight and I didn't get home until 2:00 AM. This entire experience was exhausting, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there was no real effort to compensate passengers for the inconvenience--just a $12 voucher emailed while we were still stranded in the airport. I understand delays happen, but the lack of organization, communication, and customer care made this a terrible experience. I expected much better from a major airline.

She brought ponchos so we could continue on as it rained. It was beautiful to learn about and see this neighborhood through the eyes of someone who grew up here. Toni knows so much history and seemed to know so many of the people, too! The tour has so much food - I was honestly more than full at the end and I didn't even finish all of my portions. I think it was a really good range of drinks, desserts, and food. Even though that coffee cup looks small, that's a full serving size and it was strong! I really really appreciate that this tour not only accommodated for vegetarians but also chose options for me that were realllllly good. Instead of the cubano, I had these fried plantain cups stuffed with veggies. They were SO good and seasoned well! And the spinach and cheese empanada was also amazing. My friend who got the meat options also loved her food. This tour is the perfect way to learn more about Cuban history, the history of the neighborhood, see all the street art, watch a game at domino park, and experience some of the best food in Miami. The time went by so quickly and it wouldn't have been the same experience without Mariela as our guide. She is so passionate and knowledgeable. Her energy was so upbeat. I think this a great tour for visitors who want to learn about a culture that shapes Miami as well as locals who want to learn about a neighborhood they may not know the ins and outs of. Mariels brought Cuba to us and we can't thank her enough! We highly recommend this tour!
