Be very careful with the so-called "raffles" on this boat tour. It's a complete scam designed to funnel people into a high-pressure sales pitch at Newport Beachside Hotel. A man named Jose (last 4 digits of his number: 2915) approached us on the boat claiming two people had won a raffle. We weren't the winners at first, but then he pulled us aside and said we actually won, only they "couldn't pronounce our names properly." Later, I found out they do this same trick with multiple people--it's all a setup. Jose told us the prize was a free 7-day, 8-night trip and that we only had to attend a short 90-minute presentation. The next day at the hotel, everything changed. The "free trip" suddenly had hidden fees, deposits, and conditions. The presentation dragged on for over 150 minutes, not 90, and the staff there treated us rudely when we refused their membership. This isn't a raffle. It's a bait-and-switch scheme to lure tourists. The boat staff know exactly what they are doing and are complicit in pushing people toward this scam. Don't fall for it--you will waste your vacation time, your energy, and be left feeling lied to. read more

Overall, there are alot of positives for this company. My wife and I purchased a Groupon for two for the boat tour of the Everglades. If you are staying at a local hotel there's apparently a shuttle bus that pick you up and bring you to the starting point. We were staying in Aventura at my sister's so we were driving ourselves there. We had to call the main office twice. The woman who we spoke to had a very heavy accent so it was difficult to understand her. When we drove there in the morning we left extra time because we were not certain of the ultimate ending point. Our GPS took us to their office area but I had to call again in the morning. It took a little time but finally understood where to park. Once we park it took several stops at Miami 305 Tour kiosks before we finally found the ultimate meeting place. At each kiosk each person had a heavy accent which made it a little difficult to find our way. Upon arrival at the proper kiosk we had to wait in line for about 15-20 minutes. The process was smooth and finally boarded our bus to the Everglades. The bus was a double decker. It was clean and not overly crowded. Our bus driver was friendly and attempted to point out some highlights on the way to the Everglades. Unfortunately, he also had a heavy accent which made him hard to understand. Moreover, each description was immediately followed by a Spanish translation so it seemed like one long statement. Our ultimate stop was at Everglades Holiday Park. We were directed inside to the Alligator show which was directed by a ferried alligator hunter. She was standing inside s glass enclosed area filled with sand and two small ponds. The show was short, fun and informative. After the show we headed over to stand in line for the airboats. Before heading into the boat we stood for the requisite picture moment. What I didn't know was that it was included in our price. Nice touch! The airboats seated about 20+ people. They were propelled by dual 500 HP engines. The tour lasted about an hour. Our captain was extremely knowledgeable about the Everglades and kept us informed during the entire hour. We did see some gators and different birds of the area but her overall knowledge was great and informative. Our bus was exactly where our driver sId it would be. It left within 15 minutes of the end of the boat ride. The ride home was uneventful. However, during the ride home passengers were dropped off at their hotels along the route before returning to the waterfront embarkation area. This prolonged our ride to our drop off point making this pretty much an all day event. Just something to be aware of. read more

We booked for jet skiing. It was set for 11:30 am, we didn't leave the office until 12:40pm.... Waiting for the van to get us the whole time. AND they really made us for ppl booked last minute at 12:30 and wanted to squeeze like 15 people 11 person van... not happening. Finally sat on a jet ski at 1:30pm, 2 hours from scheduled time. Never again. Ruined the whole beach day read more

Can't find more rude people when it comes to tourist attractions? They can grab you to sell you stuff with a big smile, but it comes to asking questions or organization it's just horrible. The bus driver was just totally rude. The guy to separate the different groups didn't care about anything than his phone call. They could easily also interact with people during the bus ride, it would make it more enjoyable. Be ready to take a sweater too, buses are freezing cold. When taking this kind of tours, be ready to be considered as a number and you have some many seconds to do this, check this and take this picture. read more

I wish there was a possibility to give a business 0 stars. One is not even a respectful enough for deceitful company that has totally disrespected us and lied to us about what they offer as far as services and amenities. We decided to book with 305 because we needed a tour bus that had air conditioning for my elderly family members which was made up of 9 family members total with 6 needing the A/C. We specifically asked if their tour buses had air conditioning as we explained that we had elderly family members with us so A/C was a number 1 priority. The 305 employee said several times that the bus had air conditioning available on it for my family. And to be totally transparent, language was not a barrier regarding my question because I asked it in English and Spanish to ensure that the response (which was yes there was air conditioning available) was the same. The bus departure time was every 30 minutes but they bus did not start to leave until 15 minutes after the scheduled departure. It's 90 degrees so we need to be moving not sitting in the hot sun baking like lobsters. When the bus started moving we noticed we did not feel any air conditioning. We then found out that there was no A/C! The bus windows would not stay open so my family could get no proper air movement without almost losing a hand from the windows closing as the bus moved. There was no way for my 6 family members to climb up the steep steps to the top to try to get some air and then have to sit in the hot sun. We tried to get a refund and this is where things got really shady. All of a sudden, 305 employees were ghost when we went back into Bayside Marketplace where their stand was. Finally we found one employee that told us to go the office. When we got the office, we were told that only the owner could provide refunds and the owner was no where be found. WHAT?!? If you sell me something and then lie about it, I expect a refund and apology for being lied to. The next day that I visited Bayside Marketplace, I saw a 305 bus with tinted windows that were closed. I bet that bus had A/C. We would had gladly waited for a bus that had A/C if the 305 employees had not lied and told us the bus were catching had A/C. Be warned. Beware. Run fast as if your life depends on it, if you see a 305 employee trying to sell you a bus tour. read more

Thieves.. Stay away!!! Worst ever experience with a boat operator in Miami. Lied about the prices, and the boats are not near the ticket seller, so you can't see the vessels before you purchase the tickets. They obviously don't give two hoots about anyone, since all of their customers are tourists and have no idea what they are getting themselves into unless they research the company on Yelp before they part with their hard earned vacation money. There are other operators in Bayside....and for tours of Miami, on and off the waters.....Do a Yelp search before you get ripped off by these a...holes!! Oh, and did I mention how rude and arrogant they are once they have taken your money?!? Never been so ripped off and pissed off in Miami, or anyplace else!! LESS THAN ZERO STARS!! read more

They lied and told us the bottom of the bus had AC. It did not and it was miserable. The bus windows had to be held open in order to get some sort of breeze. Upstairs wasn't any better. At lights you're sitting in the scorching sun. Also, up top a few people got smacked in the face with branches from upstairs. When I tried to get a discount at the end or my money back, they told me to go to the lady at the kiosk I bought it from. I go to the kiosk and she was running away smh. So the other lady told me to go upstairs to corporate. They told me she lied and none of their buses had A/C. Then they gave me the owners email which did not work. So I eventually had to call my bank to dispute the charge. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. BOOK WITH BIG BUS ITS $25 ON GROUPON! read more

We took this tour from a recommendation from our resort person. It was the bus tour and boat tour. The driver picking us up was very prompt. When we arrived at Bayside to get our tickets, the whole setup was very disorganized.(we were not the only ones who commented on this as well). After we got our tickets, he said to just wait in the area, and the bus would be here at 1:15. Well at 1:45 we finally had a bus. I understand that traffic can mess with schedules, but he could have at least let people know it was running late, and a new arrival time. once we were on the bus we opted to take the lower level since we had been standing in the sun for a while and didn't want to fry. Then he announced that upstairs would be better because the AC was not working on the lower level. He did offer sunscreen for anyone that went upstairs in case they didn't bring any. The "main" tour guide said his voice was tired, so the new trainee was going to do the narration. Well it was obvious that it was one of his first tours, but he said he had entertainment experience, so it would make up for it. Well I guess his experience was in screaming loudly since that's what he filled in with. The driver had to tell him what to point out at many points, and (luckily) he googled some of the attractions (or found his script) on the phone and read from that. There were many long stretches of time where it was just silent. No music filling in. But the tour guides and the driver made sure to try and flirt with the girls that were either driving by or on the street. It was so bad that 2 couples told them they had to get off the bus at a stop sign because they weren't feeling well. They had that planned because they asked how much further it would be to get to a certain street. Another 3 or 4 people didn't get back on in Little Havana. To top it off, we had an SUV try to cut off the bus at one point going into Little Havana, and the bus driver and the SUV got into a huge shouting match with the F-bomb dropped many times on both side (great for the kids) and the bus driver putting the bus in park and almost heading out to fight the SUV driver. I seriously considered bailing out as well, but had the boat tour scheduled for after, so we hung in there. I dreaded what that might be like after this experience. Fortunately that was subcontracted to a different company and they did a great job. read more

We booked an Everglades tour with this tour company. First thing worth noting is they said the tour was a total of 4.5 hours long including travelling time with 3 hours at the park. This was very wrong we were 7.5 hours including travel with 1.5 hours at the park if we were lucky. The driver who picked us up was unpleasant and didn't really know how to communicate other than pressing his horn which I think he did approx 3 times a mile on the journey to the park. It was also utter chaos at the point of switching buses no one was proactive in telling us where we wanted to be! The park however was good for the short time we had there and Rob our fan boat captain was amazing. Overall though not a good experience mainly at the hands of this tour company. read more

I don't usually write reviews but this had to be the worst tour company I have ever used and I've taken alot of tours both domestic and international. We purchased tickets for the Everglades tour and rsvpd in advance with our hotel pickup location. The shuttle bus failed to pick us up on time and when we called regarding it we were given a different time 20 minutes later than listed to meet the shuttle bus in the same location. After waiting in the sun for 20 minutes the shuttle bus drove by us without stopping at the pickup location. We then caught a lift to meet at the tour location since we were unable to get the shuttle drivers attention. The eventual tour bus departed more than a hour later than listed. Once we boarded the driver proceeded to yell at everyone on the bus over the loud speaker. The volume was so loud that the driver wasn't really understandable. The diver was bilingual which was a plus and despite my Spanish being terrible, it was easier to understand him in Spanish because his English was so poor. The tour information on the bus was hilariously bad and the screaming made it even more comical. The Everglades airboat ride was enjoyable and the guide on the boat was very knowledgeable and witty. I would have skipped the gator show. The food options on the tour were limited to chips, candy, soda and some fried chicken wings. Nothing healthy was available. The bus driver asked the tour to meet back at the bus at 2:50 but actually packed up the bus at 2:20. I watched the driver count the number of people on the bus twice before starting for the exit. A number of people weren't present on the bus and had to bang on the bus as it was leaving to get the drivers attention. One family was left at the Everglades site. On the way back we spoke with the driver and gave him our hotel name and address. Again he passed the drop off location and than dropped us off in the middle lane of the intersection some blocks later when we were able to get his attention. Skip this tour company and just drive to holiday everglade tours yourself or book with another company unless you want to be left behind. read more

This is a complete scam ! We paid for a combo tour bus and boat and when we got off the bus and went to get on the boat they refused to let us on stating we were supposed to have tickets that we weren't given by the bus driver. We had wrist bands but no tickets and we weren't the only ones. Their solutions was to give us $10 back but we paid $50 for the tour and they said the boat was 10 and land was $40 however that is not what the brochure stated it stated the boat was $20 and land was $40 so the boat was the only thing discounted . How convenient, we got no apologies and did not get properly refunded and our day was wasted!!! Do not use them!! read more

Really bad! I will never book with them again! On my trip to Key West there was a lot of smoke coming out of the bus. The bus nearly began to burn. The fire department had to come to extinguish. Don't use this tour! We have done many tours but this was not only the worse, but sketchy, frustrating and at times concerning. We were told to go to an office to be picked up for the tour, but were taken by a bus for over an hour to another part of town, then waited another 45 minutes for a tour bus. Whole operation is run by a bunch of thugs who answer to one guy. Bus tour was minimal, boat tour was fine. Were told to be back after the boat tour at "7:10 prompt", and were then told we had to wait another 30 minutes for transportation. Also, no one checked any tickets, and tour bus operator crowed about leaving people behind during tour. No head counts on bus tour, anyone could have walked on. At times felt very unsafe. We spent 2.5 hours waiting around in total, and were treated like cattle. read more

Don't use these people. Rude Rude Rude. They took us to a spot for lunch and told us this would be the only spot for food for the next 3 hours. It was a set up. They obviously had a deal with the restaurant for kick backs. We had two drinks that cost almost 50 bucks. Others on the bus got three drinks and a plate of fries for 105 bucks. Later we found that we had an hour break for the boat tour and there were restaurant and coffee shops everywhere. Liars!! Four out of five of their people we talked to were extremely Rude to us just for asking questions. We were promised a ride back to our hotel, which never happened. Had to pay for a taxi. Brutal!! We bought a Bus and Boat tour. Were told that first was the Bus then the Boat but it was the opposite. Well boat tour was great had fun. The bus tour different story. The guy doing the tour kept telling driver go here, do this do that are you dumb. Felt weird. Secondly got dropped for 45 minutes in Little Havana. We were originally seating on bottom level because it was a very hot day and we had lined up to be first and have a seat on that bottom level. Well when we got back other people had ran to take our seats and we told the tour guy about it. He just said that's your problem there's no assigned seating. We felt bummed out, thought he was rude. Heading back to our Hotel they didn't have us on the list. Had to start another argument based on that. In all, not a pleasant experience. read more

Just took the bus and sea tour. Land tour was OK but the sea tour was oversold. No room on the boat to really enjoy the views. On May 29th 3 friends and I did the bus and boat tour and it was amazing. Our guide on the bus tour was so good, I personally thanked him as I was really enjoying it. His name is Ralph I believe, he is a history teacher at the University of Miami if I'm not mistaken. He did the tour in English and Spanish and was extremely knowledgeable of the history and passionate as well. The stop in Little Havana was awesome I had enough time to buy some coffee, cigars and to drink a mojito. After the bus tour we were walked towards the boat where we had a nice picture taken before boarding. And another great guide with great sense of humor, unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he has blonde hair above shoulder length and was bilingual also did the tour in English and Spanish. We paid what we considered to be a very fair price for both tours and had a great time. read more

DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR!!! I wish I could give 0 stars!!! This was a last-minute idea since my friends' and my plans changed quickly. We Googled things to do and landed on this because, though we've been to Miami several times we never took a tour. First, there were several phone numbers online - one worked; others routed you to a voicemail in Spanish only. When we finally got to a person, she encouraged us to purchase the tickets online. This actually worked well because the site we ended up only paying $25 while others charged were charge $42 (NOTE: you get what you pay for!!!). Once purchased, I tried to call again to inform the company that we did not need to be picked up from the hotel since we were driving ourselves, ended up with voicemail. When we got to Bayside Market, we saw plenty of people peddling this company's tickets, so I asked about the voicemail and I was abruptly brushed off once the girl understood I had tickets. We finally found where to meet the bus, was told to come back at for a 1:20 - 1:30 boarding (we got there early). However, the bus didn't arrive until 1:50 and we couldn't board until a little after 2:00 p.m. It was HOT waiting for the bus under their little umbrella. We went to the top of the bus and finally began the tour. The guide did NOT conduct a very good tour. The information was as informative as a Google search! No insight, very little history or interesting facts about the sites. There were long periods of silence. The route seemed chaotic and wishy-washy. We rode the interstate and were warned to watch out for our personal items because the driver was going to pick up speed. I think I saw them picking up and dropping off random people along the way and not people that arranged to be picked up from their hotels. They stopped at a public restroom, which needed and when we finished, they almost left a couple behind. I literally had to yell at the top of my lungs for them to stop the bus!!! They didn't count how many people got off the bus and didn't tell people how long they had at the stop. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! Many times during the ride, they had to tell people on the second level (where I was seated) to watch out for low-hanging branches. I guess you can't help nature. The windshield for the top floor was cracked and taped together with some kind of sticker. I think the worst part was there was NO AIR CONDITIONING in the main floor AND the windows didn't open!!! Now looking at other reviews this was not the beginning of this problem. It was Miami, Florida at 85+ degrees and there was no A/C on a charter bus! It was a miserable experience for those that decided to stay on the bottom level instead of heading up to the open-air portion of the vehicle. Bottom-line: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. There was another company that had a fleet of buses - maybe Big Red On/Off Tours - that looked like a better option. Their buses kept streaming in!!! This company is unprofessional and the one guy that seemed to be running the show looked like shady and seemed to not care about his customers. read more

Do you like horror movies? If you take 305 Miami Tours city tour you can live one. My family and I tried to take this City Tour but the bus was crowded, only with places at the burning sun. They told us to wait for the next bus. We did, then started the real tourture. The air conditioning wasn't working properly, and the guide was really sarcastic. At the time to leave, they told us we had to wait the bus get crowded. Then we waited 30 minutes more in that sauna, because the guide locked all of us there, including old ladies and small babies. When we complained horning, the bus driver came and started to shout on us, then shouting in Spanish, very agressive, arrogant, intimidating. As South American, I could understand he calling us "putas" (hores) and other stuff. The guide also challenged us to complain to his boss, telling we won't ever leave that. At some time he put a music very loud, again bothering old ladies, babies, and all of us, until the baby's mother went to complain. The boat trip was ok. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! A DAY FROM HELL FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!! Exhausted and physically sick from this tour. We were so looking forward to this tour and it turned out to be a long and highly disappointing day that ruined the entire experience of our Florida vacation. We booked this tour through our hotel Concierge. It was supposed to be a bus and boat tour 12 pm to 6:30 pm. We got picked up from hotel at 11:50 am and they didn't put us on the tour bus until 2 pm!! The bus itself was awful, really old and super crappy. We could not hear the tour guide at all. He didn't speak much anyway!!!. The tour was not interesting at all. He got us on the boat at 5:30 pm and back at the dock at 7 pm (That's 30 minutes past the time we were told we'd return to the hotel!!) Again, the boat tour in the dark and on an overloaded boat - we couldn't see much and the guide spoke in English and Spanish super fast. Finally we got back to the bus stop at 7:10 where the guide told us the last bus would leave at 7:30. The tour booth was closed and only person from the 305 company that was there at that time was the bus driver. We showed our 305 tour bracelets and hotel info (name and address) to the bus driver and he rudely told us to get on. We got on and set down. My husband came up to him again to make sure we were on the right bus (because everything felt so uncoordinated) and the bus driver again rudely said yes. The entire time he was speaking loudly in Spanish on the phone. Then he tells us he is not taking us back to the hotel because we are on the wrong bus!!!! And he told us to get off the bus despite us reminding him that we checked with him TWICE! He didn't care, threw us out of the bus in the middle the street at 8:30 pm and said we should walk the rest of distance. With two kids and my elderly parents after a day from hell we had to call Uber to get back to hotel. We got back at 9 pm instead of 6:30 shown on the hotel's tours list!! read more

Just did the city tour today and are still being held hostage on the bus while they drop off people at their hotels in Miami Beach. This tidbit of information was not shared with us before booking the tour. The tour guide was informative and interesting, but the bus driver is a long story best told over a cold beer. We rode on the top level of the bus which had a great view, but the front window was filthy. As we went throughout the tour, all the trash on the floor pelted our feet and legs then eventually flew out into the city. The trash should have been cleaned up before boarding and also perhaps while we were at one of the stops. While we were in Little Havana, there was an "organic" peanut vendor who was allowed to board the bus and basically harass us to buy his peanuts for $1. read more

We paid a $60 deposit since it was two of us going. The stand did look sketchy but we decided to risk it. The bus picked up us at 9:50 as agreed but it was not the bus we were told it was small but clean and equipped with ac. The conductor tried collecting more then agreed which I told him that was not the case once we made a stop at a 305 I explained to the guy there I think his name was Alex and he only collected what was originally owed after our deposit.
