Used Miami Tour Company to go down to the Everglades. The ticket includes the airboat ride and an animal show afterwards. We got the combo that includes sailing around Star Island right after we're back from the Everglades. It was fun-- got to see a National wonder and got to explore another part of Miami afterwards before leaving the next day. After the Start Island sailing tour you get to explore the Bayside Marketplace, with lots of cute little shops and bars. When you first board the bus they give you a map of all their tours and a mini bio of their employees. Michelle, the owner, is cool, we had been emailing for a while. I wanted to do a city tour on our first full day there but that day they did not offer hotel pickup so we ended up just kind of exploring on our own. Also, I got sick on our original day that we were supposed to go to the Everglades and since I was trying to cancel with less than 24 hours in advance they weren't going to give my husband his whole money back; only partial. I really did want to go to the Everglades so we ended up rescheduling it was a blast! It's a good company, just beware that you might not get your money back if something happens last minute. And honestly it's fair because they do have that disclaimer, and there are no exceptions. ‍ read more

My friends and I did the Everglades tour which included a shuttle ride (to and from) the park & an airboat tour! Our driver Barnebee picked us up from Bayside Market and throughout the drive taught us a little about Miami history/ facts! He also kept a good look out for some alligators. He was magnificent and made sure we were all comfortable and happy. In all, I recommend this tour company! It was affordable & fun! Don't forget to bring $3 to take a picture with Snappy, the baby alligator! read more

My father and I were visiting from California last week and we did a hop on hop off tour with Pablo. Thank you Pablo for an amazing experience and most importantly for the energy. Took the Everglades tour with my friends and had a great time! Our tour guide Barnabee picked us up from Bayside Market and drove us and our group to the Everglades and back. He made sure everyone was comfortable and that we all made it on the airboat okay when we got to the Everglades. He was extremely friendly and quite funny, which really added to the atmosphere of the experience. I'd highly recommend Miami Tour Company to anyone looking for a trip to the Everglades from Miami! Also, very affordable price that was absolutely worth it. read more

Look no further folks! This is THE tour company to go with! Got off a cruise ship at 8:30am and took an Uber to bayside marketplace well within time for the 9:15am departure. Did the Miami to the Max + Everglades package. The tour was well run and organized. Lots of info given. There is also audio commentary on the bus as you ride through places, plus the added info provided by the guide. The bus is comfortable, luggage storage on the bus provided throughout, and even cold water bottles provided all day! Hernan and our driver Guillermo were amazing! The time schedule listed on their site is accurate. Will most definitely recommend this company to all! You won't be disappointed! FYI: don't forget to use their discount code "cruiser"! read more

I booked a tour for Key West the day prior to departure since TripAdvisor gave this company such great reviews. I purposely picked this one over Half Priced Tours because I wanted a bus that they provide that wouldn't break down. When the bus arrived the next day, the bus said "Miami Travel and Tours" and not Miami Tour Company. I paid $69 for Miami Tour Company but instead got another tour company that took me to key west. Granted I got there safe and sound and had no problems but on their site their bus looked a lot more comfortable than the bus I got. The reviews on Tripadvisor also states they have a narrated tour, provided water, and movies. Our bus didn't have anything. The site for Miami Travel and Tours charged only $59 so i got ripped off $10. Beware of which company takes you if you decide to book with them. It was definitely bait and switch. I should've just booked through Half Price tours for $48. read more

I love this company. Very reasonable, easy and dependable . On-tine and perfect. Enjoyed my driver Mr. James Moore. I would tour again when I come back and do the boat tour. I will recommend to everyone. read more

Where to start.... The positives I can say are the buses were air conditioned, the sites were pretty and the Everglades tour was great. We did the Miami tour, boat tour of celebrity mansions and Everglades tour. The Miami tour was ok. I did enjoy Little Havana but I feel like I listened to music more than hear anything significant to the history of it. When our tour was finished they took us to Bayside for lunch. The place they took us to was expensive and offered only 6 options, none of which were any good. My husband had suggested we leave and go across the way to Five Guys and I wished we would have. Lunch for the 4 of us (my husband, myself and 2 teenage daughters) was $100. The food was awful and overpriced. After lunch we went downstairs over to the dock and boarded the boat for the mansion tour. I tried to sit in the front considering the boat was packed with nowhere else to sit and got yelled at by a crew member that we had to go inside. I told him, there is nowhere to sit or stand in there and he yelled at me again. Guy was a jerk. So we went in and literally stood next to the bar as the boat was completely packed and they continued to let more people on. Once we got out into the water they let us sit out front which helped. The tour was just ok. Fun to see how much money is out there with all the million dollar homes. The lady on the mic was entertaining and gave a lot of information. Once we got back to the dock we had to once again cram into the enclosed portion of the boat with no air conditioning. It was hot and everyone was sweaty, it was uncomfortable. I was glad to get off the boat. Next we had to run to meet our bus and once we got on that it was nice as it was air conditioned and we could relax for a 30min drive to the Everglades. The Everglades was our favorite. Once we got there we got off the bus and in line to take the boat tour of the swamp. Our guide was super nice and was able to find us an alligator. That was the best. I know they don't have control over the animals and you hope for the best but the alligator he found was amazing and followed our boat. We also saw turtles in the water, it was awesome! After the tour boat you can walk through their exhibit sections and see a HUGE alligator and lots of smaller ones. The gift shop was cool and we left with souvenirs. I feel like we didn't have enough time there but after the long hot day it was ok. We got back on the bus and they took us back to Miami. Would I do it again? Probably if only just for the Everglades tour. I wouldn't bother with the other tours. read more

I had booked Miami Tour Company for the Everglades trip-the tour company was horrible but the park was nice. In all the emails sent, the reservation said we would be picked up by a bus with red and blue stripes, there would be phone charger outlets and unlimited water available. They neglected to mention that the tour is pre-recorded and the driver will simply put in a CD while you're driving to the park. Upon being picked up, I greeted my driver (Barnaby) and hopped inside. It ended up being in a van with only one specific type of charger available (for one type of phone) which I didn't have. I had been planning on charging my phone so I brought my charger-there was no place to charge our phone at the park so it died while I was trying to take pictures. Barnaby didn't greet anyone that came on our tour and was very negative to anyone asking questions. When I asked about holding a baby alligator, he told me that it most likely wouldn't be allowed and at this rate, all alligators will be 3D and virtual in the next few years (he was joking but it was pretty negative.) Since he didn't offer water, I asked for some, to which he told me "OK but it isn't cold." I greeted two other people that we were picking up on the tour and they told me Barnaby had picked them both up in the wrong spots which is why we were waiting 30 mins for them to show up! The van was really really hot but the seats were comfy and Barnaby didn't offer water to anyone else. When we got to the park, we were let off, given a sticker and told to "go over there" pointing to an airboat. There was no mention of a return time or where to go afterwards. We all managed to have a blast at the park but do yourself a favor and SKIP Miami Tour Company!!!!!!! read more

All praises for Michelle and her team. I had great pre booking and tour experience. Call them and your phone will be picked very quick. Helped with all queries and supporting all possible way for your queries. Now coming to tour. I had 2 tours booked Day 1 - maimi city+ everglades Day2 - maimi boat cruise George (Jorge) was our guide. Very good human being and our guide. Always telling interesting stuff on way! He was always there for help and understood needs. We had our 1 year old baby boy who needed a washroom and our guide was so helpful guiding us where to find a washroom at bayside and even waited extra 10 mins for us and was in no hurry after that... He is cool and helpful. I recommend this tour company to everyone and all time. They have great team and on time tour schedule. No hassle and no waiting. Excellent tour worth all money you spend. The best $30.00 my wife and I spent!! The tour was GREAT! Fun stops, great Guide, excellent value! We would do it again!!

I feel this is the best tour in Miami. You are in an Air-conditioned bus that is comfortable and actually has seat belts. Its always "hot and humid" in Miami so on this tour you are happy. The information on the tour was great with the many stops throughout the city. Had a great time on this tour. read more

If you are in Miami and want a great experience Miami Tour Company is for you. I went on a day trip to Everglades Holiday Park and had an amazing time. Jorge was our trip bus driver/guide and he was wonderful. On this day trip you get a free photo which the driver gives you on the bus and although he didn't have mine on the bus, he went to the place and got mine just before we left. I was very happy. He was very attentive and informative. He even informed me on the best way to get around Miami. read more

We did the Miami to the Max tour of South Beach, Wynwood and Little Havana. The bus was clean, air conditioned, and they offered cold bottled water and sunscreen. Guide Gus and driver Guillermo were very nice and accommodating. Wished we could have gone into the interior of some of the Art Deco buildings in South Beach. Stop in Wynwood was way too long. Stop in Little Havana was way too short and rushed. Ad said pwe would eat Cuban food in Little Havana, but we actually ate at the Wynwood diner. Lastly, I thought the tour was very expensive for what it was.$260 for 4 people for a 4 hour tour, lunch and ice cream included. We should have paid a little more for a culinary tour of Little Havana being offered by another tour company and driven to Wynwood ourselves. 3 stars for nice staff and their efforts. read more

WOW David, on the tour I thought that it was shot at Coconut Grove like the company claims. I did a google search myself and it's definitely false. The company seems to be an expert at giving false information. On their website they claim "Second... if you're not happy with the The Original Miami Tour, you'll be able to receive a full refund, because we GUARANTEE it. Here's how it works: If you're not completely satisfied with the tour, we'll refund your money. It's that simple." and on their brochure they claim "hassle-free refunds" They state this over and over but refused to give us a refund because of these reasons: 1) we were late, 2) we were hungover, 3) they gave us an amazing deal and we are ungrateful. 1) we showed up at 9:55 and got on the bus at 10:00am (the schedule pick up time) but according to the owner if we are on time we are late. 2) we are a group of young 20-something year olds and they made stereotypes against us. Ironically, we did not even drink the night before. 3) amazing is very subjective. How can they tell us how we should feel about the tour? We wanted a refund because the tour driver was condescending and told, not even ask, us to get off the bus until our party arrives. He made unnecessary remarks through out the tour which NO ONE found funny, the tour was boring, and he was unexcited about what he was showing us. One of the places they took us to, Little Havana, he remarks "Little Havana is a death trap. There's not much here but feel free to look if you want to" Really? Is that what tour guides are suppose to say? Never dealt with such unprofessional, rude, condescending customer service in my entire travel experiences. DO NOT book a tour with them and waste your money. read more

Had some time to kill on my last trip ever to Miami, FL. Bus arrived on time, but when I got into the bus I immediately felt sick from the diesel fumes. The bus was not properly ventilated, and I was surprised no one spoke up about it. [ Mostly foreigners in the bus anyways ] Anyways, to begin ... the "tour guide" really had no interest in being there. He was just going through the motions. I really couldn't understand what he was saying half the time anyways. He would speak in broken english and then repeat in spanish as well. He was also screaming into the mic, which made me feel worse on top of the toxins from the fumes. 6 minutes in I was looking for a way to get out ..... on our way to little havana, the tour guide was speeding, and braking abruptly ... so do the math and you are violently rocking back and forth, from his acceleration of the bus, and then stopping abruptly. I haven't thrown up in 10 years, but I was feeling like it at this point. Our first stop and my last stop was in little havana ... I got out, grabbed a cab and headed back to south beach. My headache lasted another hour or 2, after leaving the bus. God fucking awful. read more

So I'm writing this review while on my way to the Everglades. I am surprised to see all the bad reviews for this company I guess that the owner read the reviews and took action because there was good a/c in both buses we took today and we got our mansion club tickets at the end of the tour. I decided to take my family, who are visiting from out of state, on a tour to get to know Miami without me going crazy. So we took the miami max + Everglades. Our tour guide was George and we also had Gus with us. It was a great experience. I learned a lot about miami. They were both very polite and super informative. We had a recording in English that highlighted the areas of interest but we also had stories from George and Gus that made the trip even more interesting. They also provided headphones with the narrative in other languages. Btw, today is Thursday. The stop in little Havana was so much fun. We got Cuban sandwiches, abuela maria ice cream at azúcar and café at cigar shop. Now, we are in the bus with Carlos who is also very polite and helpful. I should wait until I finish at the Everglades to post this review but I feel confident that it will be good too. Here we go! Personally, I will book this trip again next time I have family in town. So, if you are planning to take a tour with this company, I hope you get the same experience we got and enjoy the highlights of this amazing city of Miami in a day. Dale! read more

This company is engaging in blatant false advertising. On the front page of their website, they claim to drive by a graveyard used in the filming of the Thriller music video. This is a lie. The entire video was shot in Los Angeles. The graveyard itself was built inside an East Los Angeles meatpacking plant, while the dance sequence was shot on the streets of downtown Los Angeles. If this is their most "featured" location, how much else is this tour company lying about? read more

Have lived in Miami for 25 years. Decided to take this tour when my boyfriends' parents came in from out of town. We did the Miami tour together with the Everglades tour. I saw places in Miami that I did not know existed and learned a lot. The driver, Jorge, was very courteous and knowledgeable. He explained art deco architecture and gave us a lot of tips while on the tour. We were able to stop for lunch and he offered us water all day. While in little Havana he stopped in a little Cuban store which offered a sample of Cuban coffee. The Everglades tour was just as fun, if not more fun. The air boat ride was exhilarating and the gator show was fun to watch. All in all, it was a great tour with a courteous driver. The bus had A.C. and was well taken care of. We stopped at a few places and were able to get out and walk around a bit. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone. read more

I am literally sitting on the bus as I'm writing this I'm the way to Everglades part of this tour and I just could not wait to write this anymore. The tour itself is very efficient and fast paced, seems pretty fitting because there isn't really much of sight seeing in Miami city after all. We had a wonderful lunch with delicious food included. HOWEVER, our tour guides!!!!! Omg, English is my second language, but for the life of me I could not and still cannot understand at least 90% of what these two say!!!!! One is completely slow speak with the most dragging tones and the lamest jokes, the other one is better, very active and making sure no one has gotten left behind, but we still had hard time understanding him at all. My husband is American, at one point he just gave up listening. The guide person Barnabee, he could not stop talking in the slowest manner, and none of the information was new because the other one had already said it, I was wondering if they could even understand each other??!! Also we were standing exactly where we were told about 10 min before our pick up, not only the bus showed up 10 min late, they also picked us up across the street instead. Four of us had to run and cross the street to catch the bus. Hope you all have better luck of getting better guide people. Good luck! read more

We chose to do the Everglades + Miami to the Max Tour during a short vacation in Miami. We had a mixed experience. The city tour portion of the deal was cancelled; apparently all three of the company bus drivers were sick. We were notified of this one day before our tour. However, Michelle was very kind and apologetic. She gave us a partial refund and offered us a complimentary boat tour of Biscayne Bay to make up for our loss of the city tour. Barnabee was our bus driver to the Everglades. He was supposed to pick us up at our hotel but picked us up across the street instead. He was very kind, informative and helpful. The narrated guide was very neat; probably one of my favorite parts. I was able to learn so much about Miami and its history. However, the accompanying music was very, very strange. It ranged from Spanish rap to 80's pop. Regardless, the bus was comfortable and I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to sightsee in the area. read more

DO NOT BOOK THE SNORKELING BOOZE CRUISE FOR EXTRA MONEY THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!! I was extremely disappointed that they CANCELED our snorkeling trip while we were on the bus to head to Key West. The weather was slightly cloudy with a sprinkling of rain, but it definitely cleared up by the time we arrived in Key West. When I asked why it was canceled and if I would get a refund back for the snorkeling they basically said it was "too windy" so their boats couldn't take us out snorkeling because it wasn't "safe" Well I saw several other snorkeling companies able to take people out on their boats that day, so please book with a legit snorkeling company in Key West!! I only got a PARTIAL refund, FOR A TRIP THEY CANCELED LAST MINUTE, which is MIND BOGGLING to me!!!! When I emailed them about it they said that it was clearly stated in the confirmation email that "If the snorkeling is canceled you will receive a PARTIAL REFUND" How that makes any sense at all is inconceivable to me!!! MAKE SURE to call or check their COMPANY website PRIOR to booking ANYTHING with them! I'm still trying to understand if it is even LEGAL what they did. They canceled our snorkeling, but I did not receive a FULL REFUND?! WHY WOULD I NOT GET MY ENTIRE MONEY BACK?? WHAT A SCAMMMMM!!!! Bought tickets online to a boat tour. When we arrived at the Marina 40 minutes early, we were told boat we bought tickets for was sold out and we would have to contact Miami Boat Tours directly. Our first bus broke down. We had to wait 30 minutes for another, which made us late to our Everglades tour and we missed it. Then were told to meet back at a location for 2pm (the boat tour finished at 1pm) however we sat waiting around in 91 degree heat for an extra 45 minutes and when we did finally board the bus, there was not one apology! I booked this company for the Everglades tour through their website. They called the day before to confirm our reservations. The bus driver was nice and courteous. We stopped for a break before taking the drive to the Everglades. He offered us cold water and tidbits of information about Miami. When we got back from the tour, we overheard him suggesting a Cuban Restaurant and asked him if he could drop us off there since it was along the way of other drop offs. We saw two alligators in the water and a lot of birds. Show was food too. Don't expect to see a lot os alligators in the water, but it's nature, can't be helped. We went with Miami Tour Company to the Everglades yesterday. The Everglades part was excellent. Five stars for the Everglades National Park and their staff. The Miami Tour Company themselves were meh. They picked us up on time and the bus was clean, well air conditioned and had plenty of leg room. They provided free bottled water which was appreciated - although the chiller had broken so the water was room temp. The bus PA system was horrible and we could not hear a word our tour guide Jorge said. The automated narration tour tape that was played was a bit better, but still quite hard to hear. We never received the free Mansion nightclub tickets!! We asked for them at the end of the tour. Guide said he didn't have them but would leave them at the hotel we got picked up at. At 9pm we asked in the hotel. They knew nothing about the tickets. The receptionist said she would tell the guide to call us when he arrived back at the hotel later that night after another tour, but we never received a phone call, or the tickets. So, part of our $54 fee for the tour with "VIP nightclub tickets included" went towards nothing!! I had high hopes for this company as their website and their souvenir brochure are very professional and customer service oriented, and I believed the raving TripAdvisor reviews. Unfortunately, their execution is way off. All they did was essentially provide us with a ride to and from the Everglades. If you can drive and are staying in Miami, just rent a car. read more

Don't know how the tour of the city of Miami was, but the Everglades Eco Adventure was very enjoyable and a good value. Traveling without a car, we needed transportation to and from the Everglades included. The shuttle arrived promptly on time, and after a few brief stops we were ready to go. The ride there was comfortable and not too long either. The airboat tour allowed us to see plenty of gators and other wildlife. It also included a very fun brief excursion onto the open water. Also liked being able to take a picture with a baby gator after the wildlife show for only $4. read more

It was my first trip to Miami. My friend has been there before. We both enjoyed the tour. It was well paced with multiple stops at places like the Biltmore Hotel, Holocaust Memorial, and Little Havana. I liked being able to see well known places like South Beach and Coral Gables. We learned a lot from our friendly driver/guide as well as from the seat back recordings/headphones, which are available in multiple languages. They provided us water and time for lunch. The climate controlled bus was new and comfortable. I'd highly recommend this tour for others visiting Miami who want an overview of the area and the various attractions, learn the history of Miami, and see some interesting areas you probably wouldn't find on your own. The tour opened my eyes to the fact that Miami has a lot more to offer than just Miami Beach and the few attractions that get talked about most in the media. read more
