We had such an amazing time at Mango's Sip & Salsa! The salsa lesson was so much fun and easy to follow, the mojitos were delicious and refreshing, and the live music made the whole night feel like a true Miami experience. The energy was incredible and everyone was so welcoming. Definitely one of the best date nights we've had -- can't wait to come back!

This was one of my favorite activities in Miami. My friends and I celebrate my bday to a salsa and bachata dance class. The instructor was very knowledgeable, amicable and amazing host. By the end of the night I felt like I can ACTUALLy dance! All the steps the instructor thought is paid off at the dance floor at Mango Tropicals club. I truly recommend this experience!

Came here for girl cousin's weekend when we thought, "hey! We're in Miami, we should salsa!" You show up between 7:30-8, and they have a seat for you in an upper room complete with sign and glow in the dark rings. At 8, we had about a 45 minute bachata class, then a break for mojitos, birthday cake and flatbread (only one kind, nothing to write home about), and then another 45 minute or so salsa lesson. They told us to "uncouple" (easy for our all women group) and for men to grab a different partner periodically. As expected for a venue like this, vast majority were women, some couples refused to uncouple, but they seemed to have some ringers to come in to dance with us. I ended up volunteering myself as a man several times just so we could keep on going. My only suggestion would be that these young ringers show a little more enthusiasm! But it was hugely fun to learn 2 types of dance. The room transformed to hip hop when the classes were over and the music, at least initially, was more pop from the '80s--so very fun!! Highly recommend!

Such a fun experience!! Really great for beginners, the instructors are fun and just fantastic dancers. I've always wanted to learn how to bachata and salsa and I have to say I feel like I get it sooo much more than when I started! Highly recommend if you're vacationing in the area.

My fiancé and I went to Mangoes for the shows and drinks. When there we heard that there are salsa/bachata lessons every night in one of the side bars upstairs. Booking was easy and the lessons were very interactive and tons of fun. The instructors are very lively and make sure you are comfortable and having a great time. Included in our tickets was the lessons, free mojito, and appetizers during our break between the bachata and salsa lessons. They also had professional photographers come around and take pictures of your group! These lessons were so fun that my fiancé and I are taking lessons back home!

We took a salsa class here after reading online that there would also be a place to dance after. Well, sort of. The instructor was friendly and skilled at dancing but the instructing could have been more thorough for those who were struggling. Would have been nice to switch partners too so every person could feel what it's like to dance with someone else as that is what happens when you actually go dance salsa. He was young so lots of time to develop savvy and professionalism. It was an average experience. Mangos on the other hand is wild. It's like a mix of Tijuana, Las Vegas, and Hooters. Girls dancing on the bar, a variety of musicians and dance performances -- an experience indeed.

This was super fun! But had to give them 4 stars because they 'forgot' to turn on the air and it had to be 90 degrees in the room. After a few complaints it was turned on about 10 minutes from the end of the class. Other then that I totally recommend for a fun time!

    Great drinks

What a fun time we all had, the instructors awesome. Highly recommend for a professional dance lesson.

Fun rides and games great for older kids and adults like the Tee Time Mini Golf, Drop Dry Slide, Twin Racing Aqua Coasters, Glow Court Interactive Games, and an entire arcade with Duck Pin Bowling. I asked repeatedly for an early, 2pm check-in. When I go there around 2:15, the front desk area was in chaos. There were 2 people being waited on and I was first in line, but had to wait for ~10 minutes to get any attention. Even with repeated communication, the room was not ready. My kids were heading into melt down mode. Not a great start. I got a call at 2:45 that my room was ready. We headed back around 4 and then it was the same chaos, and very long wait to get our 1 piece of luggage. Once upstairs, the hotel is very neat and tidy and our room was a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony, facing the bay and city. The condition and working order of the room, bathroom, and kitchenette were excellent. We loved the minimalist aesthetic. They did have a happy bday card and some chocolates for me in my room - a very nice touch. The main event downstairs is the pool area. They had a DJ playing vibey lounge music and it was packed with people chilling and drinking as mature adults. Definitely not a wild spring break scene. The pool is heated, too. The best is being in the pool as the sun sets - very magical as the place goes from day to night. Great hotel - lousy front desk. I reviewed the restaurant, Baia, separately - great waterfront vibes, so-so food, and disorganized service.

This was a quiet work trip. As someone who grew up in Miami, I always thought of the Mondrian as a solid, above-average hotel. It was reputable, with good hospitality, nice amenities, all that jazz. Well... this stay was disastrous. The room was musty and clearly not properly cleaned. There were countless stains, dust bunnies, scratches and cracks on surfaces, and different hairs in multiple areas of the room. Just overall extremely unpleasant. I genuinely felt uncomfortable staying there. The robe in the closet had several holes (not small. very obvious, literally the first thing you see, and they still hung it up like it was acceptable). The toilet barely flushed, consistent plumbing issues. The bathroom had visible oxidation on the shower head and hose. The ceiling shower head and one of the lightbulbs were broken, and several other lights were dim. Front desk experience? Honestly shocking. I'd expect this level of attention at a low-tier chain, not here. Staff behind the counter were scrolling Instagram Reels or TikTok (with volume) while guests were standing there. Just incredibly careless. After my first night, I went to the front desk and asked if all rooms were this unkept and in such poor condition. They acted surprised. I showed them photos (with the dust, sticky residue on the bathroom floor, hair in multiple places) and they said they'd notify housekeeping to properly clean the room. Well... housekeeping never showed up. Not once during my entire 3-night, 4-day stay. Super disappointing, because this hotel has potential and used to be great. I even overheard another group at breakfast talking about how disappointing their room was and another woman in the elevator also had a similar experience... so clearly not an isolated issue. Valet was also hit or miss. The guys mostly just standing around, sometimes opening the door, sometimes not. No help with luggage when I arrived. Just an overall lack of training, standards, and any real sense of guest experience not just with valet but everyone else. Expect the restaurant staff, they were wonderful. And to be clear, l wasn't in a standard room. I booked a junior suite, and the only redeeming quality was the space (which was not properly used so it felt awkward honestly). Everything else? Terrible. Would absolutely not recommend. The property is in rough shape, and worse... it feels like nobody cares to fix it.

My trip to Miami started with a challenge: I arrived at an Airbnb only to realize I was never given a check-in code. I then moved to a different hotel, but it failed to meet the expectations set by its reviews. Finally, I checked into Hotel Chelsea, and it was beyond great. Let's talk about the food: I ordered the seafood pasta, which featured very large shrimp, mussels, clams, and scallops. I could tell they were high-quality, authentic scallops because of their natural, irregular edges. I paired the meal with a cold beer, and the pasta was easily a 4.7 out of 5. This doesn't bother me as much as I am not a light sleeper, but if you are I would strongly recommend against this location. - The room does not get very dark--could benefit from blackout curtains - Step into bathroom, which was inconvenient as this was advertised as an accessible space and my boyfriend has an injury and is using a knee scooter - No towel hooks near sink - Slippery bathroom - Hard to turn on water in the shower and barely any came out - Outlet is basically under nightstand so you have to get on your knees - TV didn't turn off but just went into screensaver mode (I tried both the remote and the button on the TV) - Phone number didn't work--the phone rang and then eventually got a busy signal - No pool--you can use a pool a couple blocks away - Have to enter through a restaurant The main things this place has going for it are the location and the price, but it does feel like a "you get what you pay for" situation since it was cheaper than other Miami Beach options we were looking at.

The best part of the trip was how we had the boat exclusively to ourselves! I didn't know it'd be a private tour until the day I came. So, the boat was just a total of 3 people (captain included). The water temperature was great and the clarity was decent. We even saw two dolphins! You meetup at Whiskey Joe's at the marina and you can start your excursion immediately. I liked that you didn't need to wait around much. I was able to see some cool looking fish, a bottom feeder and a crab. You get 2 hours for the snorkeling and you're not required to wear any life vests (in fact, we weren't offered any and I didn't see any). The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.
