I'd seen Mango's on Tiktok because of the dancers, so it seemed like a fun spot to add to the trip itinerary and a way to introduce my friend to South Beach. We made a table reservation right by the stage, which was fun. We ordered the chips and guac as well as got three different cocktails; they are also souvenir glasses, which was fun! I thought the chips and guac were good, however, there was WAY too much guac for how many chips they give you. Also, asking for more chips was extra money. It also may be a South Beach thing, but they charged for water, which I don't see that often. The cocktails I'd say were great, since I'm a big fan of fruity cocktails, and the dancing was fun. I'm not sure if I'd come again, because it is pretty pricey.

We made a reservation for dinner online for 7:30pm as we wanted to see some of the show. There is a $50 per person charge which is then applied to your bill, along with a 20% service charge at the end. We were sat right away at the lower level of the resturant and brought water. We were informed we had a 2 hour limit at the table. Which, for us, since we went around the time the show started, it was fine. There are pauses between acts of dancing and singing. We ordered the guacamole. I would pass on that next time. Something about the favor just wasn't right for us. We even added some lime and salt but didn't help much. The steak entree was good. I really enjoyed the type of garlic sauce that came with it. The chicken curry dish originally includes shrimp, but due to preference, we asked for double chicken, which was no problem. The sauce was great, however the rice on that dish was a little undercooked. Overall, everyone was friendly, they do enforce the time limit, and we were offered a stamp incase we wanted to come back later on, as they are open until 5am.

For my birthday I decided to go to miami & I really wanted to salsa dance because I love doing that for fun & exercise. Plus miami is basically mini cuba & cubans = salsa so I was excited. I found this event online that had a salsa class & provided a drink & appetizers for the class. They also advertised that we could stay for free to dance on the main dance floor after class. I figured this would be great for me to meet new people & to dance salsa while I was in miami but I was pretty disappointed. Pros: I loved the decor & the teacher was pretty good. He was patient with the beginners & straight up asked me why I was there because I knew how to dance already. I ended up being his partner to teach the class halfway through so that was fun. Cons: I wouldn't recommend going to this event alone. I love to do things alone but I was the ONLY solo person which made for an awkward time until I became the teachers pet lol. The food they offered wasn't that great & I ended up buying my own food. For a plate of quesadillas & a drink, I paid $45!! That's literally criminal. What really disappointed me though was that after paying $85 for this class/event, the club didn't have any social dancing going on that night! This really irritated me because that was a big part of why I chose to go to this event but they had these go-go type dancers singing on stage instead. I was so over it. Not to mention, I got harassed by a ton of men outside the building so that was fun too *sarcasm*. I know that's not mango's fault but it was like sharks came at me as soon as I stepped out of there. One guy even grabbed my arm & pulled me towards him after I intentionally ignored him. Thank goodness he decided to leave me alone after I cussed him out. Idk what's going on there but ladies do not go to mango's or the surrounding area alone at night.

The ambiance and food is amazing. Highly recommend. Want to dance and eat awesome food with beauties, this is your place to come.

I was tickled to see a Mango's here, since I've been to the one in Orlando several times. This one is a good bit smaller, but had a more FUN atmosphere. They have a food menu and a very extensive cocktail menu.. I wanted to try about 7 or 8 but had to settle for 1! The bartender was attentive and a cocktail waitress/entertainer came over to just chat with us. Will definitely go here again!

Went here for drinks and had such a great time. There were dance shows and the servers danced around and stuff. Super fun.

Wish I took more pics but this place is so much fun for a night out. Was here celebrating a bachelorette party and the ribs were great! The drinks are huge and delicious and the restaurant staff were great and entertaining. We enjoyed ourselves and would totally recommend!

I love this place. Even though this place is in SoBe it truly offers an experience for every budget. Pro Tip: I suggest going to Groupon and getting a city pass for Miami and in that pass you will have a salsa class offered on a specific weekday and it includes mojitos and an RSVP for your meal in a VIP room. That is really cool to have, but if you want to have more you can reserve during event nights and watch an entire show at your table. The dancers are nothing short of amazing and the costumes are truly colorful and vibrant. They offer event packages or a Menu to order what you please.

On my first ever trip to Miami many years back for work, I came here for dinner with my co-workers. The company took us here and bought our dinner and drinks. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the live entertainment that was featured for the night. In fact, I drank my first ever Mojito here at Mango's that night. Mango's Tropical Cafe is located in the heart of South Beach and has a thirty year history in SOBE. It is a little touristy because of its longevity and popularity. But the live music and dancing make it a fun place to stop at if you are hanging out in South Beach. The beach is just a short walk away. Mango's features all sorts of entertainment like live Latin music, salsa dancing, karaoke and magic shows. They serve tropical cuisine with a large menu of cocktails that includes their popular mojitos and daiquiris. I was cruising around South Beach not too long ago and stopped here for a quick drink to reminisce my first trip to Miami. Good times!

Food was average at best. Overpriced for what we received. Cocktails insanely expensive. Bring the black card. Ambience is total club feel with strong Latino flair. Reggaeton, merengue, salsa, bachata, R&B playing in background. Good vibe for dancing Service was amazing with Jossie being as hospitable and pleasant as can be when we asked about the now extinct dance revue. She was very understanding and just accommodating I give service a 5 star review. We came expecting a dance revue show that was the signature attraction for this restaurant. The show no longer offered but not properly advertised when making reservations. Parking was complimentary valet when we arrived However valet charged $30 as we're leaving around 9 PM

Alex our instructor was fun, engaging, and an intelligent instructor that broke the dances down for even beginners to follow easily. We first had bachata lesson at 8pm, followed by complimentary mojito and Cuban bites, then wrapped up with salsa lesson at 9:20pm. I wished salsa lesson was a full hour, followed by more fun salsa dancing with instructor dancing alongside (you know, cuz regular student folks won't keep dancing salsa on their own without pros' boosting presence) because afterwards everyone pretty much stopped dancing salsa after the last song after lesson ended. Then it was regular club time. Good vibe and we had fun. The wristband we got allowed free entry to the club downstairs so we could enjoy the cabaret performance and backstage live music band a bit too. Overall I would recommend Alex and Salsa Mia without any reservation for anyone with an open mind looking to have a good dancing time! Try it - don't be scared as there's no need to be!
