She gave us great tips on how to make our dream wedding menu become a reality within our budget. She listened to what we wanted and made recommendations tactfully and appropriately. She knows her trade well and is very well-regarded amongst the other vendors in the wedding business. In addition, Lily went above and beyond her role. When the rental company messed up the orders several times before the wedding, she revised the lists over and over again, and she contacted them directly (which she needed not do) in order to take things off my plate. On the day of the event, when the rental company was late in setting up, Lily herself moved their tables, set up the chairs, taped the dance floor... She did what she needed to do in order to ensure everything got done just in time before the guests walked in (and it wasn't even her job!). Our guests commented on the quality of the catering: the steak was cooked appropriately, the temperature of the food was just right, and the presentation was delightful. I thought the hors d'oeuvres were even better at the wedding than at the tasting!!! Additionally, the wait staff (especially the special server assigned to us) was very gracious! Our wedding was a special night that we'll remember for the rest of our lives, and it wouldn't have been what it was had it not been for vendors like Mena Catering. Would recommend them to everyone in a heartbeat!

Make no mistake, planning an Indian wedding is like planning a 3 day music festival. You need someone with experience to handle the logistics, patiently listen to the parents' griefs, help you find reliable vendors, and relentlessly follow up to ensure things run without a hitch once the celebrations start. Throughout the year and half we worked with her, she patiently guided us through a postponed wedding date, coordination between the many vendors we couldn't always meet in person, and a backup plan when weather disrupted our original plans. Always professional, Nathalie somehow steps it up when the event starts, and she is so efficient in helping keep timing throughout the day (no small feat for 150+ Indian relatives) and address any challenge with a level head.
