Hired Ale's Paella for a company picnic at CB Smith park. They setup at the wrong pavilion and started cooking. Did not ask for our contact person. Did not confirm they were in the right place. We tried calling them with no answer. A stranger from the other pavilion saw our name and number on the order form and called us because Ale's employee could not speak English to communicate with her. Once everyone realized the error and that they were at the wrong place, the food could not be moved so we had to wait for the food to completely cook and had to drive to that pavilion to pickup our very costly cooked food. Horrible experience. No paella show for our employees as we'd hoped and then showed very little remorse nor offered any sort of discount after the whole mess. Will never use them or refer them and have a lot I plan to say on social media. CB Smith really needs to consider removing them from their approved vendor listing that they require you to work with. This one was a joke. Find someone more qualified and that respectfully, can communicate with you. Only reason I am giving two stars is because the Paella was ok once we finally got it. read more

I had a last minute (next Day) party for my Birthday, and I always wanted to have a Paella made. so first one that popped up was Ale's Paella. Ale answered the phone asked me which Paella I wanted and told him for 25 people and time, and he Said no problem. He gave me the prices and the the time the cook was going to show up and the guy was right on time, he set up everything and started cooking. He set up everything we just supplied the dishes and utensils. Let me tell you that was the best Paella I have ever had, and my guest also said it was amazing. We decided to do something different and have paella catered for my Father's 60th birthday party. Not only was Ale's Paella competitively priced, but they were quick to respond every time we had a question. We ended up ordering the Paella Marinera, which also came with bread and salad. When the day of the event finally arrived, the weather had been terrible all day and we were worried that it might cause a problem with the food. But Jose and Bertha (our chefs) were there on time and were truly amazing! They also were a hit at the party because all of our guests wanted to see what they were cooking and Jose and Bertha would take the time to explain the process and have great conversations with our guests. By the end of serving time, we were sad to see them go! They also cleaned up the area they set-up in so well that it was almost as if they were never there. But more importantly, the food was delicious! Everything tasted fresh, was perfectly cooked, and was perfectly seasoned. We had a few guests that are usually picky eaters and even they had nothing but great things to say! Also, their portions were extremely generous! The prices were more affordable than a night out at a restaurant, and the food was on par with the best restaurants in Miami!
