The first time I tried Mary & Mo's food was at Educate Tomorrow's annual gala. I remember I had the lamb chops and truffle mashed potato, the good combination in a beautiful cup just blowed my mind. I have to say I miss Mary & Mo's catering a lot when I go back to San Diego. But if you live in Miami, you get so lucky, you should have them catering for your event! From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful and checked in with me regularly to go over details and timelines, which made the whole planning process feel so much less stressful. On the wedding day, her team brought my vision to life for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Everything looked beautiful and ran so smoothly, and they took amazing care of our guests. One thing that really stood out was that Barbara arranged for two servers to specifically take care of my husband and me during cocktail hour and dinner. They made sure we had food and drinks so we could actually enjoy the night. Barbara, thank you for giving us the most perfect day. We booked…read moreThalatta Estate because it is such a magical venue, but Chef barbara single-handedly drained the joy out of the day. It wasn't one big disaster; it was a thousand little things that showed she simply didn't care. Communication: Leading up to the wedding, she ghosted me. I sent ten emails confirming the menu and timeline, and never got a reply. Now I know why. The Schedule: She arrived two hours late. My guests were standing on the terrace in the heat with no water and no food while she was still unloading her truck. The Decor: I paid for gold chargers and navy napkins to match the ocean view. She set the tables with some clam looking chargers and silver napkins. When I asked her about it, she rolled her eyes and said, "It's what I had." The Food: The dinner was embarrassing. We ordered steak, but it was served ice cold and tough as leather. Half my guests didn't even eat. The Staff: The service was chaotic. My aunt started talking to one of the servers, and the poor girl admitted she had never worked a wedding before and didn't know what she was doing. The Bartender: This is the worst part. We hired an "experienced mixologist." My dad carded the bartender because he looked so young--he was 20 years old. We had to shut down the bar early because we were terrified of the liability. I spent my entire reception crying in the bridal suite instead of dancing. I can never get this day back. it was a pretty affordable package, maybe i should have been more suspicious.

Eggwhites catering recently did a fabulous job catering my wedding. The food was delicious and my…read moreonly regret is that I didn't have a chance to eat more appetizers as I was busy getting married! Luckily thanks to Eggwhites service I was able to have the appetizers brought to me at the bridal suite onsite but still, if I could go back to have some of those mushroom risotto spoons right now I would. Luckily, I made up for it by indulging in as many mac and cheese bites as I could during late night bites! On top of that, the presentation was absolutely beautiful. The guests raved for weeks afterwards about the quality of the service. The staff at Eggwhites are a team of outstanding professionals and I would trust them to handle any event big or small. Sarah worked me with throughout the process to choose the best menu and deal with big and small changes and I really appreciated that I saw her helping out the wedding planner deal with something that was really important to me during the wedding and completely unrelated to the catering. Now will anyone please invite me to their wedding catered by eggwhites so I can focus on the food and pretty presentation this time? :)

Unprofessional service that waits till the last minute to give you an insanely marked up quote…read moreleaving you with no option. It sounds based on reviews that they've done this over and over to multiple clients. They give excuses like "we can't give you a breakdown of the cost" or giving you an ultimatum to decide or find someone else. Trust me on this: don't waste your time. Craaaaazy overpriced and very unprofessional

About a year ago my friend had a dinner party with Let's Hibachi, and when my aunt was thinking of a fun idea where she didn't have to cook this came to mind. Chef Neko, John and Kiko did an AMAZING job for our group of 34. Let's hibachi takes care of everything in terms of food and it is a looot of food. We had salad, veggies, fried rice, steak and chicken. They were able to accommodate our multiple shellfish allergies and waited until the end to cook lobster for the bday girl at her request. They are not only the chefs, but they are the life of the party. They named my aunt the sake queen, and had multiple containers of sake for us to do shots of all night. Later in the night they even brought out a water gun filled with sake. We had the best time, and I would definitely recommend for a group party. While our group was larger, this would definitely work for a small group as well. Job well done, Let's Hibachi! Thanks for making our family party one for the books.
