All the 5-star reviews are well deserved. Everyone at our event wanted to know where we got the food. After everyone got over the fact I wasn't cooking they were super happy we chose Smokey Boys BBQ to cater our event. We had the Ribs, Brisket, and Pulled Pork with Cornbread, Baked Beans, and Potato Salad. They include sauces and other fixings it's just amazing. They were very responsive to all our inquiries and quickly confirmed everything. The process was easy and efficient. These guys are running a well oiled ship. I read the wonderful reviews and decided to have my husband's birthday party (bourbon & cigar theme) catered for 45 guests. I was not disappointed. The food was delivered promptly as scheduled. We ordered the brisket with baked beans, mac & cheese, cole slaw, and the best corn bread ever! The cornbread was sweet, moist and received rave reviews from my guests. Cole slaw can be hit or miss, but this slaw was perfect. The brisket was very tender and the variety of sauces provided were great. Some guests said the baked beans were the best they ever had! John was always responsive to my calls & questions and I will definitely use Smokey Boys BBQ again for future events. Thank you John! read more

On the search for how to feed a multitude of both kids and adults for my 9 year olds birthday party, I came across Smokey Boys on Yelp under BBQ catering. ***Amazing*** The entire process was seamless. From their user friendly website, to their no nonsense pricing on menu options, to the helpful customer service from John Costello and timely follow up and delivery. Everything on point. We ordered the Southern Sampler, (ribs, brisket, pulled pork), and an order of the Cheeseburger sliders with all the fixings (cornbread, buns, cole slaw, baked beans, potato salad, assorted sauces). Order was delivered on time, packaged professionally and most importantly my guests raved about how good it tasted. Unfortunately, I can't vouch for myself since the savages ate everything- great sign I guess! Thanks again Smokey Boys, we shall meet again :-) read more

Smokey Boys BBQ - Delicious! - Caterers Near Me

We had a pool party at our house last weekend and I was trying to find catering last minute. We ordered Smokey Boys BBQ based off of the reviews and the variety of food it comes with. We ordered the Southern Sampler- ribs, pulled pork, brisket, 4 sauces, baked beans 2 sides: mac and cheese and salad. It was delivered right on time and the food was absolutely AMAZING! Best pulled pork I have ever had! All the meats were smoked to perfection and the sauces they gave us on the side were the perfect touch (although the meat was so good you could eat without any sauce). Everyone at the party loved it. We had 30 people there and the portions they gave were more than enough. My favs were the pulled pork, the ribs and mac and cheese. I am actually looking forward to our next party because we will be ordering again! Thank you Smokey Boys BBQ! read more

I found Smokey Boys BBQ caterers via "Thumbtack". John Costello, the owner provided a quote via Thumbtack and I decided to call since he was very reasonable for the budget I had for my twins 2nd birthday. It was great to work with him and he was very accomodating to customize and make some changes on the original menu and it was definitely more than enough food for 35-40 people. Now regarding the reception of the food: EVERYBODY LOVED THE FOOD! Some of the parents gave food to their children first and came running to get their own plate - it was delicious. I ordered the pulled pork slider party package and it came with sauces, corn cobbettes, baked beans and mac and cheese. I highly recommend Smokey's for your next party!!! Thank you John Costello! read more

I recently threw a department picnic (120 people) and needed to hire a caterer to provide traditional southern style BBQ dishes. After speaking with multiple caterers, I came to the conclusion that Smokey Boys was the way to go! Owner, John Costello, was able to provide me with a full menu and quote in no time at all. Not only were his prices fantastic, but he was able to customize our orders to meet the needs of our incredibly diverse group. Smokey Boys provided our group with pulled pork, chicken quarters, and smoked brisket. They also had several additional side dishes. While each dish was a big hit, everyone really loved the brisket. YOU MUST HAVE THE BRISKET. Almost every employee went back for a second serving and some for a third! Everyone raved for days about how great the food was and how they couldn't have been happier with it. Aside from the out of this world food, John and his team were incredibly professional, polite, always had a smile on their face, and never said the word "no." They were an absolute pleasure to work with and deserve 5 stars for their top notch customer service. John was always quick to follow up, quick to return phone calls, and was always kind and courteous. His honesty also struck me and I need to comment on that as well. While we were putting together the menu, John was incredibly considerate of our budget and was very transparent about pricing and how we could get the most out of his services without overspending. This was going above and beyond to make sure we were happy and that is something to appreciate. Five stars from us! We will definitely be using Smokey Boys for future picnics and we look forward to working with John and his team again! Thank you Smokey Boys! read more

Highly recommend! John at Smokey Boys BBQ did a truly outstanding job of catering our wedding rehearsal dinner on March 10th. We wanted to treat all of our friends and family to a delicious beachside BBQ the night before our wedding. John did a great job of making our casual BBQ look elegant and taste fantastic. The pulled pork and brisket were absolutely amazing! Truly the best pulled pork you can find anywhere. But the mac and cheese, famous baked beans, and the cornbread, especially the cornbread, all stole the show. All of our 150 wedding guests raved about how incredible everything was. Weeks later and we are still getting comments and complements from all of our wedding guests. John and his team took care of the delivery, setup, and serving of the meal. We were absolutely thrilled with our beachside BBQ rehearsal dinner! read more

Hands down, best customer service and best food! I called a week before the event and John returned my call within 24 hours. He spoke English (big deal in Miami), was extremely professional and efficient in accommodating my catering needs for my baby shower. He arrived the day of the event ON TIME and the food came in insulated bags and each food item was labeled. The food arrived hot, ready to serve. Now for the best part!- the food! WOW!- Delicious! We ordered the Carolina Pulled Pork which came with FRESH, soft buns and 3 yummy sauces , Mac N Cheese, Potato salad, Coleslaw, Baked Beans and the 3 cheese Artichoke dip it. We also ordered a side of cornbread. Everything and I mean Every single thing was finger licking good!! Everyone complimented the food and asked for the business info. This is the first party we've thrown where I was reluctant to send people home with leftovers, because I wanted them all to myself to enjoy for days to come! Will definitely order from them again without hesitation. read more

Since I have been talking about the food since I tried it I knew I had to give them a call for my sons pool party. With only a few days notice, John was able to accommodate us and offer suggestions to help us pick the perfect options for our party. We went with pulled pork sliders, brisket, mac & cheese, baked beans, potato salad, chicken tenders, and corn cobettes. Everyone was asking about the food and could not stop going back for more! An added bonus is that I did not have to do a thing. They even offer complete setup service. John came, delivered and set up all the warm food with disposable chafing dishes and sternos, brought the plates and utensils and all I did was provide a table. Delicious food, incredible service, amazing experience. Already planning to call them again for my daughter's birthday. I highly recommend Smokey Boys BBQ! read more
