I recently used Mary and Mo at my office Christmas party at the Hollywood womens club! Everything was outstanding. Everyone raved about the food!!! The appetizers we fresh and hot and plentiful! The main course and dessert did not disappoint! Monday at the office everyone was still talking about the lamb chops, shrimp, steak and even the salad! In my opinion, they have perfected the best food for a party. The flavors, the assortment, the amount etc. Everything is perfect! The staff even helped me take the decorations down and clean at the end of the night. You will not be disappointed! read more

What do you expect for a good event? For me, the food is as much important as the event itself. No one can enjoy a event without a good food catering. The first time I tried Mary & Mo's food was at Educate Tomorrow's annual gala. I remember I had the lamb chops and truffle mashed potato, the good combination in a beautiful cup just blowed my mind. I literally had 4 cups that night. It was amazing. Also I really appreciate that he always smiles when he serves food, it's quick, friendly and professional - making you feel warm and welcome. I have to say I miss Mary & Mo's catering a lot when I go back to San Diego. But if you live in Miami, you get so lucky, you should have them catering for your event! You and your guests will enjoy the delicious food and great service. read more

We wanted to throw a special party for a friend and needed a caterer. I researched and read a lot of reviews and called Mary and Mo's Catering about 6 weeks before the party. Mo answered and was very nice and I got a good feeling instantly. He sent me pictures of prior parties and we discussed the event. Mo is an excellent communicator. He kept in touch and met every deadline, provided me with sample menu's, including a visit to the venue prior. I received a detailed contract that included all prices so there were never any surprises. The day of the party he arrived with a full complement of incredible wait staff and a phenomenal chef. They could not have been more helpful and organized to help us set up. (And clean up after). Mo worked the entire event side by side with his staff and the party was perfection. The chef and wait staff outdid themselves and were so nice to my guests. The menu was all circulating finger food including Crab Cakes, Grilled Lamb, Churrasco with Truffle Mashed Potato, Seared Tuna, Stuffed Mushrooms, Coconut Shrimp, Beef Sliders and an incredibly beautiful Charcuterie Board to start. After the party I received many written thank you notes from friends and everyone mentioned how wonderful the food was. Mary and Mo will be my caterer forever. I am so lucky that I found the company. read more

We really wanted all our guests, with their varied food preferences, to love the meal at our wedding reception last week, and Mo (same name, no relation) and his crew truly hit the ball out of the park! The dishes were all delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Compliments flew in from happy vegetarians and committed carnivores. The mandarin, ginger, soy salmon w mandarin and cilantro garnish was outstanding! The chicken dish was tender and everyone was raving about the truffle smashed potatoes, cranberry kale salad and stuffed portobellos! We had lots of people tell us this was SO beyond usual wedding dinner fare, and Mo worked really hard to listen to us and put together a wonderful array of dishes. He and his crew were so attentive and professional at the event; top marks for timing and great service! If you're planning an event where you want to be able to trust your caterers to deliver a great food experience you couldn't do better than hiring Mo and his team. It just added so much to our big day to see how much our guests were really enjoying the dining part of the reception. Highly recommended, and we will definitely use them again for future celebrations. read more

Mary and Mo catering catered a baby shower for my sister. The menu looked delicious but the real test is trying the food. The food BLEW ME AWAY! I think I was addicted to their mashed potatoes, the steak was perfectly cooked. Everything was 10/10. If I could give a 6 star rating I would. I highly highly recommend them. Not only is their food good but they are actually so very kind. If you want to blow your guests away, get Mary & Mo catering. Several of my guests asked for their contact information. read more

Its all about the food and Mo knows how to cook. The quality of the food was outstanding. Right from the first meeting we had a great experience with Mo who is very passionate about his food. Menu created for 30+ people and it was time for New Years Eve. The kitchen set up and prep area was very organized and the food that came out was better than restaurant quality. Food highlights were Crab Cakes Dijon Tartare, Churrasco Steak on Parmesan Truffle Mash, Bacon Wrapped Scallops, Grilled Lamb Chops with Walnut Curry Mint Pesto, you get the idea, sooo good. Oh and the Truffle Fries, I mean it was all good. Great presentation of food and delivered by service staff that were happy to be there and took pride in their work knowing that they were serving great food. The compliments got back to the chefs. We wish Mary & Mo Catering the best. We will be using again this year for numerous events. read more

Where do I begin?? Mo rocks! He just catered our wedding @ The Kampong (Coconut Grove) First and most importantly -the food is amazing. My guests are still raving about it. (Seriously, when does that ever happen at a wedding??) Scallops with Brie & truffle oil, Lamb chops, Crab cakes, Steak, Salmon. Coconut shrimp unlike anything I'd ever had before...and the best part? He's reasonable. He gave me a five star menu that impressed the hell out of my guests at an unbelievable price. Unlike a lot of other caterers I spoke with, he isn't stingy with the portions. He's also a very laid back guy who's a pleasure to deal with. Service was great. Mo also supplied the bar staff. Ozzie his bartender made us a fantastic lychee martini signature drink. Mo even made sure they had a plate set aside for me & the hubby. With everything going on, we probably wouldn't have eaten otherwise. Very considerate. Big thanks to Mary & Mo catering for a fantastic job! Five stars all around. Will definitely be using again!! read more

Stop looking, just call Mary & Mo and you won't believe what they can pull off. For the past 15 years we have been hiring Mary & Mo at least once or twice a year. Always for our 300+ person gala and we get nothing but compliments. The food is always beyond expectations, incredible, unique, and always freshly home-made. What's more is that they can pull the food off in any situation, and provide the entire event logistics if needed... 400 person gala in an art gallery with no kitchen, no problem... a 50 person private bonfire on Miami Beach that requires permitting, and carting in everything, no problem... private wine dinner in your home, no problem... fly to Wisconsin for a barn wedding, no problem. I would almost say that if you had some crazy idea, which I often do, about having a party in some obscure place, Mary & Mo are the team to get it done. Mary can pull off anything in terms of events logistics and Mo can wave a magic wand and make even the most common ingredients a masterpiece. What's best of all is they charge reasonable prices, staff, food costs, rentals are all listed so you don't get taken to the cleaners. At one point a few years ago the venue pressured us to use one of the more well known big Miami caterers... never again, we will stick with Mary & Mo Catering. read more

I wish I could give these guys 6 stars! These guys were awesome. Came through on short notice for a party of about 50 people. Super professional. Brought everything they needed, including ovens and ingredients to make cocktails we requested. Great staff made drinks, served food, poured wine and were all very professional and polite. The food was delicious and looked great. Crab cakes, coconut shrimp, and the stuffed mushrooms were big hits. The tuna, churrasco, thai chicken and samosas were also awesome. Our guests couldn't stop asking us about these guys and were blown away by the quality of the food and service. We will definitely hire them again for any future events and would recommend them to anyone in need of catering. These guys go above and beyond. read more

I highly recommend Mary & Mo Catering. They made the open house to my law firm a huge success. I ordered the crab cakes, scallops, sliders, chicken skewers, lamb chops, tuna and the churrasco with mashed potatoes. Everything was wonderful. Mo is super easy to work with and really puts the host at ease. His staff were all very attentive. They cleaned up before they left. After the party, I had several people comment on how good the food was. The food is also very kid friendly. I will be using them again and again!! read more

Wow. All I can say is wow. It was my wife's 40th birthday. We needed a caterer. The party was a very cool, hip photography gallery called Fusse Studios in Miami. So we needed a caterer to match. Boy did we find one..... Can you say Parmesan Artichoke Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms? Everything was absolutely delicious from the Coconut Shrimp with Mango Sauce to the Seared Scallops with Melted Brie. The bartenders and servers were all on point as well. They were very professional, and meticulous at their craft. The best part of the night was the price. Incredibly reasonable for what we got in return. It was actually Mo's birthday that night and took the gig anyway. Which meant a lot to us. I highly recommend Mary & Mo Catering. read more

We had Mo cater our holiday party this year. Not only was his food awesome he was a pleasure to work with and very honest. I am very conservative and wanted to make sure we had enough food, Mo made sure we had plenty of leftovers. We will definitely be repeat customers. read more

Mo catered my engagement party on March 4, 2016. Overall, I thought the food and service were very good. Mo was a pleasure to work and his staff was exceptional. For a frame of reference this was our menu for the evening (we had 57 people in total): Appetizers: - Burger sliders topper with Balsamic onions - Truffle Curry Fries - Coconut Shrimp with mango sauce Main: - Grilled Churrasco steak with Chimichuri sauce - Sesame seared Tune with mango salsa - Parmesan truffle mashed potatoes - Grilled Asparagus - Fresh tossed salad with citrus vinaigrette The food was great though I think Mo oversold us on the amount of food we needed for the number of people we had attending - we could have done without the potatoes but to be fair my mother was the one who requested them. The menu didn't include wine, spirits, and beer. Nor did it include desert all of which I purchased separately. In total, Mo charge me ~$2,700 (no including a tip) for the above menu and 4 staff members which I thought was more than fair. read more

We just had Mary and Mo cater our son's first birthday party and they did an amazing job! We ordered the coffee rubbed churrasco and the thai peanut chicken served with truffle mashed potatoes and roasted veggies tossed in pesto. Mo also brought a big fresh salad full of goodies like cashews and strawberries. The food was memorable and guests are still complimenting us on it. There was so much food that we are still eating leftovers. Mo was very sweet frying up nuggets and fries for the kids on demand. The service and the food were the best I've ever had from a Miami caterer. I'm so glad we hired them for our special occasion. read more

Mo and Mary catered a corporate event for our firm recently. The food was amazing, service excellent and the price was within our budget. I can't believe how inexpensive this company was given the outstanding food and service. We will hire these people again. Thanks Mo and Mary. read more

Churrasco steak sandwhich! OMG. talk about amazing. They had a table and grill set up at The Vagabond, whcih I heard they are at every weekend. The churrsaco steak sandwhich is $10 but oh so worth every penny. Instead of bread they use like pita style bread, grill up amazing pieces of churrasco, fry some french fries, throw some chimichurri and other sauce on it and it is served sizzling hot. I am drooling right now just thinking about it! The meat is good quality beef, you can taste it. The guy grilled it perfectly and the way it is sliced it just comes apart as you take a bit of the sandwhich. Not sure what he throws on the fries but the sauce is super yummy and the fries are crunchy. OK enough about writing about it, I need to get my sandwhich fix soon. Where else do they set up and cook? Anyone know? If not I might see myself taking a trip down to Miami, back to the Vagabond for a churrasco steak sandwhich fix! read more

This is the 5th time I have used Many and Mo catering and they get better and better. I just hosted a very important event for a major University which was attended by the Dean among other guests. Mo's food, presentation and amazing professional service is second to none. Mo is wonderfully accommodating and takes such pride in his food. As 1 guest said to me after Mo described the food we were having for dinner.." I want to hang with Mo. His passion for his food is tremendous". We started with passed appetizers. His sesame seared tuna and crab cakes were the highlight. Dinner was an amazing panko mustard crusted salmon with a mayo, garlic lemon pepper sauce along with churrasco steak with his signature chimichuri sauce. Thanks Mo and Mary for an amazing night. read more

My husband and I had been searching for a caterer who could serve passed hors d'oeuvres to a crowd of 60 - 70 guests at our annual Christmas party under the "rustic" conditions of our 1896 (old!) home, at a cost that wouldn't break the bank (or require a second mortgage). Mo came through with a menu of parmesan artichoke spinach stuffed mushrooms, coconut shrimp, Boursin cheese on toast with balsamic onions & sliced cherry tomato, Churrasco steak, grilled chicken sate skewers with Thai peanut sauce, crab cakes, seared scallops with melted brie on a thin crisp with honey truffle garlic dill, and smoked salmon with dill, capers & onions. All our guests thought it was the BEST catering they'd ever had, and our best Christmas party ever. Thanks, Mary & Mo! read more

Not only did Mo deliver the tastes and flavors that he promised, but his service and extremely professional and caring staff made all the difference. Great food and excellent service made our party a HUGE success! It is really tough finding the right vendors for special events like a wedding, but we chose Mo because of his commitment to excellence and willingness to accommodate our needs.
