I tried to come up with some kind of resolution and got them to agree to allow me to use my deposit towards an event in the future, but when I tried reaching out to them after Covid to set a new wedding date they ignored all emails and phone calls, they basically robbed me for thousands of dollars that I worked very hard to get and put me in a position where my only option was to have a small cheap wedding elsewhere. There was no work done on their part whatsoever to justify keeping my money and it's not like they blocked off a date for us because my wedding was over a year away when I canceled.

The wedding was held in the recreation hall of a local park. She somehow took a rec hall and turned it into a storybook ballroom. It took my breath away. It was an incredible transformation. I didn't recognize it when I walked in the day of the wedding. It did not look like the same place. Nora has a great deal of artistic talent. She explained to me how details are important in a wedding. It is not just one thing that is important in and of itself; it's how everything fits together that creates the "magic". Things like choosing the right colors, textures and lighting and coordinating them to create the look you want to achieve. The florist that she works with, Gerardo also did a sensational job. I love flowers and think really you can't have too many of them at a wedding. Both of them did much more than I ever thought possible in putting this aspect of the wedding together. They were also very creative in using the flowers in multiple ways such as putting bouquets and columns used during the ceremony at the bridal table afterwards. Nora has a great many contacts she is able to draw on for vendors for all of the different services we needed for the wedding. Somehow she is able to interact and oversee all of these vendors to bring things together. I admit I would not have been so patient in dealing with all of this. She didn't give up on getting what we needed. Unlike other coordinators Nora posts the fees for her services on her website. You can choose the level of service that you want. If you want her to do it all, she can. If you just want help the day of the event, that may be possible too. With some vendors she can assist you with discounts which can help pay for her services. Of course weddings are not inexpensive events. The more you want, in my case flowers, the more it will cost you! If you are only looking for a coordinator who will charge the lowest possible price, there are other planners you can contact. But if you are looking for high quality service from a professional you can trust, you will not be disappointed with Nora. You do not have to have an unlimited budget, we surely didn't. She will listen to your requests, make suggestions, give advice and even tell you when something just honestly is not the best or will not work with your budget or with what you want to create for your wedding. In all weddings there are unexpected events, with us some of the things were not having a podium for the pastor at the last minute and rehearsal problems. She dealt with these and other things with grace and patience. I highly recommend her. She is a rare professional someone who keeps her word and puts the needs of her clients upper most. She understands that this is not just party it is one of the most important events in someone's life and treats it as if it were her own.

I'm so glad I took the risk and I was very grateful for my experience. The photos came out great and our ceremony was so perfect and intimate. We chose this company because it was affordable, the had a special going for the tiki parasol package. We wanted to elope but wanted an intimate beach ceremony. We requested a sunset wedding and the timing they accommodated us with was perfect. There ended up being two photographers who captured lots of different angles. They took so many photos my jaws hurt from smiling (lol) but I was very thankful for them all later. I must also mention I opted out of the silk bouquet and created my own because they didn't offer sunflowers. I will say there are two items from the package I never received: Personalized keepsake copy of vows Personalized keepsake marriage certificate Other than that I had a great experience and was able to get digital copies of all my photos for $99 (300+ photos, the package only included 75) If you want something small and intimate this is the way to go. If you want a big beach wedding you might not get what you expect from them... ever heard of you get what you pay for? Well it's true and you can't expect fancy, extravagant things when you don't pay an extravagant price for them.
