Cheesy Corny Deliciousness Done Right!!! We suggested to come and try this place by some Venezuelan friends and it did not disappoint. First of all it's a food truck and in fact it's two in one kind of spot. They have one truck for Cachapas and other Venezuelan items and then the have a Pizza truck. Tables are outside which for this cool Miami night was perfect. Wife ordered a regular Cachapa and I ordered the Patacon with Maduro as the plantain style. The kids had cheese pizza and we also ordered some tequenos and empanadas. Everything was really good but the star was the Cachapa. Is was simple yet perfect. The cheese had the right thickness but yet pull. The cachapa corn flavor was on point and even the crema was smooth and delicious. The Patacon was truly not too far behind. I ordered it with Chicken and it was moist and it also had a thick slice of cheese. With the Maduro style patacon it was the perfect sweet and salty combo that I love. Service was super quick and very friendly. They have plenty of seating. I would say the capacity is around 20 or so people and there was a line to sit. We fortunately got there before the line. Which just tells you they are doing something good here. Overall highly recommend Frank Cachapas and worth a drive to Doral to try it out. read more

Every time I make my way to Doral, my cravings towards Venezuelan food begin to spark up. Today I decided to treat myself to cachapa and what better place to get one from than Frank Cachapas! I arrived as soon as they opened around 7 pm and ordered the original styled cachapa -- I believe it's number 9 on the menu. For $10 I got a nice portion of a freshly made cachapa that was delicious and my favorite part of it was that it wasn't greasy at all -- the cheese was so good, queso de mano and it was super filling! I will say the nata that goes on top was too buttery for my taste, I like it when it's the creamy nata flavor. But overall, you can't go wrong with this food truck, it's definitely a Doral gem! They're open till 12 am so this is the perfect late night treat and the service was great! Everyone was sweet and helpful. Can't wait to make my way back next time im around the area. read more

The best cachapas are located in doral at franks, it's a food truck, he's open till late, he has other Venezuelan Staples like tequenos and empanadas but his masterpiece is the perfect cachapa you see in the picture, perfectly done with so much cheese and well priced! The best Cachapas in Miami, for all my Venezuelans and Venezuelan food enthusiasts. Cachapas are simple in its premise, but perfecting the formula is what makes Frank Cachapas special. The portions are large and extra cheesy. You can choose wether or not to have the extra cheese and cream on top if you aren't a big fan of going the extra cheesy mile. The tequeños are wonderful as well, super filled with perfectly savory cheese. The dough is great and they come out fresh, that melted cheese just hits the spot. Frank is sometimes at the place, greeting the guests and making sure that everyone is having a great time. Wherever you live, this place is worth the drive. We had been recommended to eat at Frank's and wow, not disappointed! It's a far drive for us, but we were in the neighborhood and took advantage of checking this food truck out. We had the cheese tequeños to start. They come 4 per order so we got one to hold us down, while we waited for our cheese cachapas. Soft and cheesy, so good. My little girl, that is super picky, even wolfed them down. They give you like a garlicky cilantro sauce to dip them with. The cachapas were perfection. I couldn't finish it so I heated it up the next day and just as fire as the night before. I used to come here often but this is my last time afyer a series of bad experiences with this one being the worst. Excellent cachapa, was parked on the 87th Ave on my way home, stopped, eate one and was awesome.

The owner is super nice! I found out about them through Instagram back in 2013 I believe when they were located on 40th ST (bird road) and 107 Ave in the pep boys parking lot and I still call them to find their location.
