I've visited Kendall Grille three times -- August 14th, September 9th, and most recently September 19th -- and after trying several different dishes, I can honestly say that I've had an excellent experience every single time. What I've loved the most is the quality, flavor, and freshness of the food. You can truly tell when food is freshly prepared and made with care. I've tried both the grilled steak and pork, with different combinations. One of my favorites has been either beef or pork served with chicken fried rice and fried cheese. Absolutely delicious! I also wanted to try something a little lighter, so I ordered the grilled steak with cooked squash and fried yuca, and the yuca really impressed me. It doesn't have the taste or texture of the frozen yuca that many places serve. I was told that they prepare the yuca themselves before frying it, and you can definitely taste the difference. I've also tried several of their fresh drinks, including passion fruit, mango, and cacao with milk. They all have such a delicious flavor, and something I personally really appreciate is that the sweetness is just right -- not overly sweet and not bland. Perfectly balanced for my taste. The salad, hot sauce, and chimichurri are also delicious. Overall, one thing that has stood out to me during all three visits is how fresh and freshly made everything tastes. The seasoning is very well balanced, and both the salt in the food and the sweetness of the drinks are just right. But I definitely want to give a VERY special mention to Mr. Juan Manuel. His service deserves a 1000%! From the way he welcomes and treats customers to how attentive he is throughout the entire experience, he has been incredibly kind, respectful, dedicated, professional, and attentive to every detail. He is one of those people who doesn't simply take your order and serve your food -- he genuinely makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. Great food makes you want to come back, but when it's combined with such exceptional service, the entire experience becomes even more memorable. Thank you so much, Juan Manuel, for your wonderful service and for treating customers with such kindness and dedication. Lastly, I was told that they also have a rewards points system. Every time you make a purchase and enter your phone number, you accumulate points, and once you reach 100 points, you receive a gift. I think that's such a nice touch for their regular customers. After three visits and trying several different dishes, Kendall Grille has definitely earned my . Delicious Nicaraguan food, fresh ingredients, great flavors, and excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back to try even more from the menu! read more

Yall. This place HITS. WOW. I'm so happy there's an amazing fritanga like this in my neighborhood. It's family owned and you get that vibe when you come in. All the food we had was phenomenal and I honestly felt like I was back in Nicaragua. The lengua en salsa was phenomenal and so was the nacatamal. The tajadas were fresh and the chilero was delicious. We even tried their arroz con pollo, taquitos and a nicaragüense enchilada. You know we couldn't leave without having their cacao, cebada & tres leches either. I'm stuffed, sleepy and oh so happy. Definitely going to be back soon. Quick note! Some items on the menu aren't made every day, we got lucky we came in today and they had the lengua. Call ahead if there is a dish you want. And if it's not there, still go! They have so many other options to choose from, you won't leave upset. read more

Amazing food customer service the place was clean and everything had a good presentation

This place is super fast casual. Perfect for takeout or a quick bite. They're Nicaraguan owned too! All of the food is super authentic and made me feel like someone from my family was cooking for me. The staff is super friendly and helpful with anything you need. They also have plenty of free parking in the shopping center which is a plus! read more

I would've loved to give them a 5 star review. But the rice (gallo pinto) was too dry and the steak was burnt and dry as well. read more

Don't know why it has 3 plus stars place lacks customer service food lacks basic nica food taste tortillas are stale got a cacao drink it was pure milk very little cacao fritangas are just cooking very cheap meat cuts for the price rather go to Madroño or El Novillo same price with better customer service read more

Decent food, but overpriced for what you get. Despite spending over $40, they still charged extra for hot sauce, which felt stingy. I also was like OMG ($1 for a tortilla) Not worth it when there are better options available.

We paid another visit recently, after having forgotten about this place. Happy to say that it's still serving great food, reasonable prices and friendly service. All our food was tasty and we actually thought the salad tasted better this time around. Looking forward to among this our go to Fritanga spot from now on! read more

I order the breakfast for Uber eats, the lady calls me to say cheese is extra and that the tortilla is extra. I tell her I've ordered in the past and that's included but she flat out said no. I tell her fine, to add it and charge me. I get my order with the gallo pinto missing. I called them and said it's all included as per their description on uber eats and my past orders, so she said well I couldn't find what was included so basically just gave me eggs with 2 pieces of bacon. read more

Food is good and plenty to eat can share with another person. Service is ok staff looks overworked and tired.

Excellent home made food and service with a smile. When you get old school women in the kitchen that know what they are doing magic happens. Love this place highly recommend for the flavor and value. read more

I absolutely love this place! The employees are always so sweet, welcoming, and ready to serve with a smile. The customer service is top-notch every single time I visit. Fritanga Kendall Grille - Chicken, mashed potatoes, and fried yuca. Huge serving of chicken that's super tasty and tender. - Nicaraguan Near Me - Miami, Florida

Very nice and staff is helpful. The good is economy good, portion of the food is good.

Average at best. Ordered the gyro omelette which was pretty expensive IMO. It also was almost tasteless. Aside from the average food I think the owner is trying to save money by keeping the A/C at around 78. On a 95° day it gets pretty hot in a resturant. Also be aware those of you that like to use Amex. They don't accept it. Even after offering to pay the 3% fee that Amex charges, they said no. Now I have to scramble to pay the check and be embarrassed in front of my friends because my bank account was low and I don't carry cash. So I took away 3% in the tip because of the owner, not the service. Sorry ladies. This was my first time there and last. read more

Food is always great. Service has been better. Happy with it! Would recommend to anyone in the area. Always fresh.

Got ribs that they had on 9.50 special. The lady only put one rib lol. I tell her if she can put another rib ill pay extra if needed (im thinking 2 or 3$). She did, then went ahead and charged me for 2 plates..... so 2 ribs and white rice came out to $20. $20!!!!! Lol. I Dont understand why they are so stingy with food. Ill never come here again. Good luck read more

Food is good but too expensive for what it is. If they made a better price I would keep going there.

Not the best fritanga but I was craving it so I had no other choice cause I was too lazy to drive further, the Gallo pinto sucks & the carne asada they always serve me baby strips lol.. only come here if it's ya last option read more

Tasty Nicaraguan food for the price. Great location and very clean. Service is exceptional definitely recommend this hidden gem. Capt. J Certified. read more

The local looked fancier than other fritanga places, but the food was super mid. Meat was chewy, gallo pinto (aka rice and beans) was old and it had a burned/left overnight taste. The only thing that was good it was the service. But I will not go back to this place and eat. As a true Nicaraguan, I've tasted better places. read more

Finally, a friendly Fritanga in Kendall. Unfortunately, service at Fritangas is typically not the best which takes away from the experience. Fritanga Kendall Grille nice people, cute & clean little spot, when I walked in all the food looked delicious. I made a comment that I wanted to try everything perhaps I should get a sampler, the girl behind the counter said "sure why not, that way next time you know what you want to eat." Let me tell you, the food was on point and good prices. Can't wait till my next visit to try something else. My sampler consisted of Carne asada, cerdo frito, cerdo asado, gallo pinto, picadillo, maduro, tajadas and Maracuya juice to wash all this delicious food down. read more

My husband and I decided to give this place a try since it had good reviews. We ordered 2 completas containing gallo pinto, carne asada, tajadas and a side of queso frito. We also ordered some chicken taquitos. The cashier was nice and ensured everything was in the bag.. Unfortunately when we got home we realized that we were charged for all the food we ordered but only 1 completa was bagged along with the taquitos. The taquitos were drenched in oil I guess this place doesn't believe in draining the taquitos after frying them I took a bite out of one of them and they were soggy and drenched in oil it was so gross, we couldn't eat them. Very disappointed, what a waste of money. First and last time ordering from this place. read more

Mix feelings about this place, the food is good most of the times, but in my last order I had a "pice of glass" on my potato salad. I call the restaurant and asked for the owner to tell him what happen, but he wasn't there and ask for the manager and also was not around. I told the lady that answer the phone to inspect the potato salad or to throw it away so someone else won't hurt him self with a glass, but her answer was "they sold all the potato salad" and there's nothing she can do. And with a bad attitude told me "anything else you need" and hung up. Definitely not going back and I hope that know one gets hurt. read more

This is a new spot in Kendall, I am always glad to see local businesses pop up. I had the privilege to be customer number one, I had been anticipating the opening of this fritanga for a very long time. The service was fast, they were very attentive. I had the most typical plate which is the rice, beans and carne asada, I had that also a juice, and my wife had a soup. Portions are very large and you get your money's worth. I really liked all the food. Will be back read more

Due to Covid 19 I can only base this review on the food. Which in opinion it's the most important aspect to consider. I was in the area and decided to check it out since my main choice of the day was closed. This restaurant has the same concept of all fritangas I seen and all food by pound restaurants. (food it's already cooked and you choose protein and sides) Decided to order the tongue (Lengua en Salsa) and I glad I made that choice! It was the best lengua en Salsa I eaten at any Fritanga restaurant read more

Terrible food! Terrible customer service! Terribly overpriced for trash! I've been coming here since they first opened and they truly just get worse every time. First off, food was disgusting they gave me the smallest/ thinnest carne asada pieces and the queso frito wasn't even completely fried. Second, customer service is terrible walked in mind you I'm the only customer four ladies working no one said "hi welcome" they all just looked me up and down and stared at me with a blank face I had to scream hi still didn't get a response from them.... Last, food is super overpriced for literally shit. Idc to pay for food that is worth it but $17 just for carne asada gallo pinto queso two picantes and a chimichurri ($.50 extra each salsa). Definitely not going again so many other better fritanga places in Kendall that aren't ridiculously rude and don't charge you for every little thing. read more
