What's good yelp back with another review the food really depends I've eaten here quite a few times this time around I went and got the Rabo encendido and it was okay I expected more of a blast of flavors wasn't it but it was at a good price for a lunch special. The service nice as always no complaints there at all. The area it's located in Calle 8 in a plaza specifically dedicated to the restaurant and the club it has on the side plus a shipping company dedicated to Colombia nice restaurant though definitely shows its pride in cuisine dedicated the their country.

The best local colombian food joint. And that says a lot for me! I say local because it's in my area so it's easy and convenient for me to just call in. The sancocho de res is delicious and perfect made. And the empanadas are fresh, the aji to top it off is super spicy and a perfect combination to the soup and empanadas

Colombian restaurants rarely disappoint, San Pocho has been a go-to in Little Havana for years. Inside they have a cute mini market with Colombian products, plenty of tables. One of the most remarkable things about San Pocho is the speed of the service. Our waiter was attentive, the food comes out FAST. Faster than any restaurant I've been to in Miami. The food is delicious, the only reason I didn't give them five stars is they overcooked the chicharron on my Bandeja Paisa. Great place, check them out.

Every now and then I get a hankering for Colombian food and San Pocho was the perfect spot to scratch that itch. Located on southwest 8th street and 9th avenue,, this Colombian Restaurant has a pretty large size seating area. We showed up late and they were closing soon but that didn't stop from getting friendly service. We quickly ordered so as too not impose. We started with empanadas de carne which were nicely stuffed but unfortunate were over fried. They were nice enough to bring out new ones for us and they were delicious. I had a Bandeja Paisa which just has everything you need to get over a hangover. And no I wasn't hungover but it's one of my go to for after drinking meals and it works. So take that as a tip. From steak to arepa to chicharrones this plate has everything. And it was all delicious. And when in Rome, I had to wash it down with an Aguila (Colombian beer). The place also has a small market which instead of sticking around for dessert, we opted to grab a bunch of Colombian candies and desserts from the market. They had a great selection and the kids loved choosing all the candy options. Overall a great spot that I recommend for good Colombian food.

After moving to the area, I was looking for a good place with good food that doesn't break the bank, San Pocho delivers. The service was spot on during the busy lunch hour. Most tables were taken in the big restaurant at about 2 in the afternoon on a weekday. Always a good sign. The clientele varied widely too. I ordered from the Daily Lunch specials and was very happy with my choice. The meal came with the main protein and three sides. The chicken was super moist and fell off the bone. Overall, this is a great choice for lunch and probably dinner. Can't wait to come back and try other items off the menu.

We're Colombian so we really know what we are talking about, the food was bad , service was good and there is no ambience at all.

This is the owner many complaints against her check google review.

The owner is the most disrespectful and arrogant person I have ever had to deal with I can't believe her attitude. I work very close to many family and friends that eat there they won't anymore. As I was leaving today the same owner was trying to kill some insects from the bar area.Visitors be careful homeless outside lock your vehicles and don't go after dark.

The moment I walked into this place is forgot that I was in miami. Wow it really looks like a bodega from another country. The food here was delicious too. I want to go back and try their sancocho.

Always good service, free parking if you go at the right time. The food is Authentic homemade Colombian food. The soup is very good, the chicken and beef stew are also very good along with the sweet plantains. The rice is good but a little too salty. They give good portions at reasonable prices. They also have authentic Colombian desserts, figs with caramel! They also sell imported Colombian candy and other food items to go. We are regulars there for a reason.

My friend and I arrived at this recommended Colombian restaurant, for lunch, the reviews were nice too. The ambiance is simple but organized, the restaurant is spacious and is also a Colombian grocery store. We were immediately seated, service was friendly and welcoming. I never had Colombian food. Due to this, I basically ordered a Colombian food sampler, called Plato Montañero. It came with three proteins, your bread (arepa), and three side dishes. Being in Miami, I had to order Cuban coffee with milk. The dish included a big Colombian beef steak (thin cut), Colombian sausage link, and Colombian fried pork belly. The side dishes were beans, rice and fried ripe plantains. The meats were nicely seasoned, the pork belly was nicely fried and the skin was crispy (pretty much like filipino lechón). The rice was nicely cooked, the beans had pork belly in them, so they were very tasty, to top this off, the dish had two small pieces of ripe fried plantain. Everything was tasty, really like it!

This is a place full of little treasures.

You walk in and it's just brimming with stuff ALL over the place. It's like a fever dream, but in a good way. Since we walked in it was packed and there was music which definitely set the vibe. Was a little hard to talk, but it made you want to dance the whole away through. The food is priced great and delicious. It took a little while, but completely understandable and the wait time was convenient for how packed the place was. The only reason I'm giving a four instead of a five was the service was a LITTLE slow. I understand again they were doing as good a job as possible for how packed the place was, but I had asked for water when our server took our order and I didn't get water till every single person at our table had to reask for water and I finally got some post meal. Our server was really nice, but again, took a while to get water, but we got another round of sangria and received those before the water. The place was bumping and people were dancing and having a good time. I would MAYBE check this place out again on a slower day. I hear they have mariachi!

Some Colombian restaurants rent in places where the lease is absorbed by the paying customer in the charge of food- this is simply not the case here This restaurant is a staple of the area and don't be surprised to walk in and hear patrons greet the staff as if they were regulars because they most certainly are familiar faces I ordered a bone broth to start with grilled steak and rice entrée and finished with a cup of coffee that was brewed to perfection This is the kind of place you go for quality food in a cozy environment Parking is somewhat limited out front, which adds to the exclusivity of it unless you're in a walking distance While I was there, I also noticed a multitude of Mobile dining orders, which lets you know plenty of people want with this place has to offer and after having eaten here today, I can completely see why: great food great staff amazing price points

The girl that answered was super friendly and told me they could have them ready for the time I ordered, which was great!! I got to the location for my pick up and the whole parking situation was a mess. I had to park a bit far, which was more of an inconvenience than an actual problem. Once in there, I went to the counter where there were 3 ladies working. I'm literally in front of them and about 4 minutes went by before any of them even acknowledged my presence. I'm the one that finally spoke up and said "buenas tardes" and they acted as if I had just miraculously appeared in front of them. I find this absolutely shocking, as most Colombian restaurants are so welcoming and polite. I ask for my order and they tell me to wait a moment. About another 5 minutes go by and they bring out my order horribly covered with some aluminum foil. In the car I grabbed an empanada to have a taste and it is all burned inside and out. When I got to my gathering I removed the aluminum foil and about 10 empanadas were in the same badly burned condition. These empanadas cost a little over $2 a piece! I paid $90+!! I understand Saturday was the Colombia game and they must have been swamped, but if you can't provide quality product, don't overwhelm yourself by taking on more than your kitchen can handle. The oil must not have been the right temperature cause the empanadas were extremely greasy. Luckily we were able to place them on some paper towels to soak up the grease and most of them were consumed. Everyone said that the taste was decent, but they were definitely over fried. I have no idea what their food and service is if you dine in, however I highly recommend not ordering out. There's much better Colombian places.

We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad.
