A hidden gem. This authentic Colombian place is a total treat. Warmly welcomed by staff. Our waitress Katy, went over our menu and explained all of our lunch options. The sancocho de res was a delight. Their plantain soup is out of this world. Not to mention their coffee with a cookie. Place is small, but cozy. The ceiling was decorated with typical Colombian phrases written on coffee bean bags. Will return to try their breakfast options. Lunch was fantastic!

Super good spot for lunch or dinner. the service staff was excellent and very helpful and answered every question about the menu. highly recommend the "Bandeja Paisa". (they have a weekly special on it, i think it's Wednesday). fresh juices are also excellent. lots of great delicious options and excellent location for a group to enjoy a good feast. portions and prices are fare.

I went to Miami specifically to try all different kinds of food, and I was pleasantly surprised about the great service and delicious food I had at Riconcito Paisa. The waitress Cielo was very attentive Ians always try to see if I'm all right. I will definitely return to this restaurant when I come back to Miami. I loved the decorations and the saying that were on the ceiling.

We went for some lunch this past weekend for some Colombian food and my sister in law recommended that we try Bandeja Paisa located in Flagler and off 95 Avenue. The restaurant is small and the wall decorated with a lot of Colombian memorabilia. The menu here contains many of the most popular Colombians items and we decided to order an appetizer basket which included empanadas, tortillas crackers, ham fritters, and cheese tequenos. The appetizers were not greasy but they were not that tasty. Then came the main entree which is the famous Bandeja paisa which included ground beef, fried pork rinds, sweet plantain, fried yuca, tostones, sausage, and rice topped with a sunny side egg. The platter was filling but the flavors were kind of bland especially the ground beef. The waitress was very nice and quick with our order and atmosphere was very homey.

When you enter this restaurant you feel immersed in Colombia They have a lot of decorations hanging on the walls and on the ceiling from colombia. The atmosphere was very good; they play latin music which I liked. The service is good, when you are seated they give a small cup of chicken soup, (which is delicious) I even asked for a second cup and the waitress kindly gave it to me. I order the Carne asada with rice , beans and fry plantains . The food was flavorful and the portions were generous. We could not finish the whole thing and took the left overs home.

Came on a rainy day searching for a nice warm Colombian Sancochito and must say, their sancocho hit the spot and met our sancocho craving. We ordered 2 sancochos served in a pan with viandas - the beef, white rice, corn and banana were served in a separate plate. Serving size was good. I was only able to eat half but my husband ate his entire serving. Gladys was very professional and made sure to meet every request. Would we come back - yes. Pricing a little higher than we expected but we had warm fresh tasting sancochos.

Hidden gem in Flagler Street inside of Park Hill Plaza. Definitely a hole in the wall as I've passed many times by it and I've noticed Bandeja Paisa (if you're Colombian, you should know what that dish is) but never walked in until today. WOW so authentic and delicious! Love their welcome consommé aka Caldo de Gallina that they serve you upon arriving. Some restaurants put arepita but they just give you the consommé and I'm here for it! So good and homemade! Their menu has a huge variety and too many options to pick from! We tried their mini empanadas with beef and potato (squeeze of lime and wow whole new world of flavors; unfortunately they give you lemon - Colombian food should be given with lime), Tostones & Queso Frito & 10 oz Carne Asada that was accompanied by 3 sides. My pick were Maduros, Yuca Frita & Ajiaco; mindblown! Oh and to drink Agua de Panela! Perfect sweetness! Highly recommended! Definitely coming back! So many options to try! Our server was the best! THANK YOU!

Raw crackling pork after I asked really toasted. Chicharrón crudo no tostado cómo pedí. Super greasy not cooked right.

I arrived close to lunch time asked for a bandeja paisa the most common and known plate Colombians serve and let's just say very disappointed will not be returning to this place. The meat was cold like if it was microwaved and not cooked the same day and the crackling pork was super greasy and not toasted as asked for. Very small plate and not at all authentic. After I left my stomach just saying did not cooperate with me. Waited for a refill on my cup of water let's just say the cup must still be waiting for the refill. A true waiter knows never to let a guests cup get empty at anytime while at the table so that tells u the type of service. I am not that guy about zero tip but today I had to be that guy so sad. There is more to say but you know what I am just going to stay quit better I am very disappointed...

Flavors - 2.5/5 Textures - 5/5 Presentation - 3/5 Value for Money - 2.5/5 Would return? Yes, but to try other things. I only tried the empanadas here! I loved the super crispy dough, but the fillings lacked a little flavor. The cheese empanadas had no salt. The beef and chicken were pretty good, but nothing especial. The other plates looked delicious though and I would clme back to try those.

Stop by here because we were craving some delicious Colombian empanada! We wanted to stay longer but we couldn't , the staff is very friendly and helpful. We sat down to wait on the empanadas and they gave us free consume while waiting. It was so good ! I also like there decor it's very Colombian ! Wish I would try more food so I gave it 4 stars. I will try out there bandeja Paisa next time I go. Empanadas we're so delicious ! Definitely recommend

Bandeja Paisa is an authentic Colombian restaurant with a huge variety of plates to choose from on they're menu. You can not go wrong with this restaurant. It's not a huge fancy location but they are definitely cookin it up. I love the little complimentary cub of broth they serve you when you're seated. Delicious! If you're ever in the area and want some real Colombian food, look no further. You'll definitely be returning for another plate. They also have natural juices. The ambiance and service are phenomenal. Thank me later !

Some Colombian restaurants rent in places where the lease is absorbed by the paying customer in the charge of food- this is simply not the case here This restaurant is a staple of the area and don't be surprised to walk in and hear patrons greet the staff as if they were regulars because they most certainly are familiar faces I ordered a bone broth to start with grilled steak and rice entrée and finished with a cup of coffee that was brewed to perfection This is the kind of place you go for quality food in a cozy environment Parking is somewhat limited out front, which adds to the exclusivity of it unless you're in a walking distance While I was there, I also noticed a multitude of Mobile dining orders, which lets you know plenty of people want with this place has to offer and after having eaten here today, I can completely see why: great food great staff amazing price points

They boast both indoor and outdoor seating with the same aesthetic and nods to Colombian culture, like the cute hats and sandals hanging on the wall. We were seated inside fairly quickly on the Sunday afternoon we came in. They were pretty busy, but the waiters were kind of hanging out at the bar, just chit-chatting. We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad. The rice was really undercooked. The waiter tried to appease us by bringing us more of the same uncooked rice. We were not the only table to say something about it because our neighbors confirmed they too received the same and were also unhappy. Other than that, the rest of my meal was great. However, I will say my mom was very upset with her experience and expressed that her chicken wasn't prepared well either.
