I dunno the bar with our previous server. Never got the food we ordered.

If you like ordering food and waiting about an hour for no food to arrive - not even an appetizer - and promises that your order is coming, this is the place for you! We ordered our starters and dinner at the same time - pickle and cucumber starters; crispy tofu and Branzino for dinner. We waited around 8 minutes for our first round of drinks to arrive and proceeded to wait and wait and wait. Our server basically disappeared only to walk by us about 25 minutes later to tell us the food is coming - without skipping a beat or breaking stride. Later, another server asked us if we wanted to refresh drinks. We ordered one more. Some VIPs walked in and sat at the back bar, soaking up time attention of the bartenders and our previous server. Around 15 minutes more of no food, no drink my girlfriend went to tell the hostesses we were done. The server came over simultaneously with the new drink - finally - and the bill for $92 which included the new drink that finally came while saying she would cancel the food order. Not recommended, unless you are a VIP and want to pay for drinks while waiting for food that never comes including the drink that comes after you ask to cancel - and don't even take a sip. Maybe it was the fact that we were a table for two and both women, who knows. But seems like they do really well with large parties from the reviews and what we witnessed personally. It was a Thursday night around 7:50 pm when we walked in.

The hostess was so cool. Her vibe was really great and she was very eccentric. I passed by this place all the time and the food was really wonderful. I wouldn't recommend bringing children here though it's tight. They do have space but it is tight and they're very accommodating. Very nice. The food was good. Everything was wonderful here.

I came in here during happy hour on a Saturday. I sat with my friend at the bar at 520ish and there was already a good amount of people enjoying beautiful looking cocktails. The happy hour menu has a couple of apps such as an assortment of dumplings and bao buns to choose from. We ordered the shrimp + pork dumplings, chicken wings, and PY noodles. The sweet sauce the wings are drenched in was spectacular and the noodles had a great flavor. I will absolutely come back to try more dishes. The service was 5/5, from the waitstaff, bartenders, runners; they were all so friendly and welcoming. This place has so much going for it, the only thing I would say that is something to consider is that parking isn't exactly plentiful or easy.

Absolutely phenomenal service and food!!! My husband and I came here for our anniversary and we were blown away. Our server Carolina, was a sweet heart and gave us the perfect recommendations on what to eat and try. The drinks were all made by her and were delicious. The management was going around making sure everything was up to everyone's standards. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone especially for a date night in Miami. P.S- Parking was pretty easy to find if you get there early around 5-6pm but after that it gets pretty packed so make sure to make reservations online. Thank you so much! Phuc Yea truly made our anniversary dinner once if the best experiences we have ever had.

This place is so dope. It's indeed a hidden gem. They are hip-hop throwback R&B all night. The ambience is so hip cool gives you retro 90s vibe. A great place to grab a bite or even go to the bar sit down and get a drink. It gives me a little bit of a speakeasy feel. Each meal is made so uniquely with a different ingredients that actually works together. Our waiter was so helpful with suggestions. Would definitely say make sure you do a reservation. And go with an open mind definitely recommend. They have parking in the back of the building.

Be warned about the parking situation: there's not a lot of parking. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times but no one answered. The receptionist didn't get my calls. Another group also commented they called and no one answered. The music was kind of loud near the reception. If you're a large party, I cannot stress this enough make. a. reservation. We got seated upstairs and the experience was a 180. The bar looked so cool and I loved the purple lights. The ambiance was perfect. Everyone loved their drinks (get the lychee martini). the octopus, the bao buns, the sea bass, and the fried chicken were . Some dishes had a little kick but still enjoyable. Everything was so good. I enjoyed this Asian-Latin fusion.

Cozy spot on Biscayne that envelopes in warmth as you as soon as you step in. You feel invited into this Asian oasis with delish bites and craft cocktails. We almost ordered seconds as the appetizers were Good. Highly recommend family style so you can try everything. The branzino is a good size portion. Noodles were a bit small to share, but every strand was savory. The octopus was fresh and chargrilled to perfection, possibly the best I've had. Tip : happy hour is only at the bar! So don't book a table expecting the HH prices

This spot was selected from the Chase Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables. We were drawn towards the modern vietnamese fusion aspect of the menu and it surely did not disappoint. We were welcomed with two glasses of champagne while we browsed the menu. We decided on the short rib. The short rib was served with bao buns, spicy watermelon salad, green papaya salad, cucumber salad, along with some lettuce and pickled veggies. It was truly curated to serve up the ~perfect bite~ The DRINK! Oh my goodness. I don't say this lightly but that was probably the best cocktail I have ever tasted in my life. It was a gin-based cocktail with an UBE (hellooo?!?!?!) foam on top. This drink WILL be living in my head rent-free until further notice.

While in the area had some locals recommend trying this spot and for the most part didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, just wish our server was a bit better. They sat us on the wall right next to a speaker and could barely hear our server talk. They did eventually turn it down a little bit but took multiple times to get a drink menu for a second drink but she never came back to order the second drink. The fried rice, dumplings chicken wings and branzino were great dishes packed with flavor. We don't mind spending the money for great food but please improve service! It was also cool that the walls had a hand painted mural.

My mom and I had a lovely dinner experience here! We loved the octopus, millionaire rice, branzino, and seasonal mushrooms! The decor is very eclectic, be sure to spend some time checking out all the items around the restaurant. It's a fun vibe! The service was excellent. Food came out in a timely manner and Carolina was an excellent server and gave great recommendations!

What a great date night spot! The vibe was super nice! We were sat in the dining room which was very quiet to begin, but as the night continued it got lively. The service was 10/10 Carolina was beyond attentive and so helpful with the menu with so many recommendations! She made sure we were having an awesome time!! We tried a lot of plates and all were tasty! Keep in mind some veggie plates have a spicy kick! Our favorite of the night was the short rib! Wow! falls off the bone so tender and flavorful! Next with the Chicharrón the criolla sauce so good we kept it to pour over the rice! The drinks weren't a huge selection but I loved my margarita! 10/10

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday utilizing my Chase Sapphire credit. I was surprised how many years this restaurant was in South Florida as I had never heard of it previously. It was a rainy day, the parking a bit tight thankfully it was not a busy weekend. They recommended 2-3 dishes per person. Each dish 20+. We loved everything we ordered except the highly rated noodles. The wings and the rolls were my favorite. Skip the noodles. Definitely recommend but be prepared for the bill as these small dishes adds up. The four plates and dessert were perfect for both of us.

Once I found the elevator, Kaiju was clearly labeled there tho. The entire bar is dark and has cool red lights all around. We went to the bar to get seated and were led to an open table for our group. Our waiter immediately filled our water glasses and brought the menu. The menu is super cool because each drink is presented as a Pokémon card. There's a lot of info especially on how they compare to classic cocktails. Everything on the menu looked good so my friends and I got a bunch of different drinks. Some of my favorites were the Rodan, Guije, and the pandan drink (I forgot the name). The Michelangelo was also good but a little spirit forward for my taste. I'm excited to come back and try some more of the menu.

This is a fun, trendy bar with delicious drinks and solid service. It's totally worth checking out. First, I love the theming. Kaiju is Japanese for "movie monster." Ever seen Pacific Rim (2013)? The logo looks like a rough outline of Godzilla. The menu is designed to look like Japanese monster (e.g., Pokemon) trading card books. Each cocktail has its own card art, stats, and tasting notes. Neat. And the vibe of the place is like - I don't know - Japanese neon Blade Runner. It's cool. The four of us got a variety of drinks and were welcomed to our table with complimentary shots. I had the Guije cocktail which cost $24 after tax and tip. Yes, that's the one thing about this place - the drinks aren't cheap. Tasting notes: "Guije is a savory, tropical, and funky cocktail featuring Chairman's Reserve Rum spiced with Mojo Criollo, offering hints of bay leaf, pepper and garlic. Along with fresh mango, lime, Maduro, to round out the robust yet tropical flavors." It was strong, refreshing, and fantastic. All of our drinks were presented beautifully too. My wife thought she left her wallet here. The next day, I DMed @bar_kaiju on Instagram and they got back to me in less than a couple hours. Whoever got back to me was responsive and kind. (Luckily, the wallet turned up elsewhere, but their help was appreciated.) Bar Kaiju is located on the 2nd floor (mezzanine level) of the Citadel food hall. It opened in December 2022. I found out after the fact that they were ranked #77 on the "North America's 50 Best Bars" extended list in 2025.

We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.

The restaurant is conveniently located right on the downtown strip with free street parking nearby, which is always a plus. The atmosphere was inviting from the moment we walked in. The host welcomed us and told us we could sit anywhere we liked, so we chose a quieter table away from the bar area. There is also a stage section that looked perfect for live music nights, although there was no entertainment during our visit. Overall, the ambiance was trendy, relaxed, and had a great neighborhood feel. They also appeared to have some very good happy hour specials for those who drink. Our server was very sweet and offered several recommendations. We decided to share the burrata appetizer and the skirt steak dinner. The steak arrived first and looked absolutely beautiful. The quality of the meat itself was outstanding and cooked very well. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable charred flavor from what seemed like a dirty grill, which took away from an otherwise excellent steak. It was disappointing because the quality of the meat was truly superb. The fries were also surprisingly good and almost tasted closer to sweet potato fries. At that point, we realized our burrata appetizer had been forgotten. Once we flagged down our server, she immediately corrected the mistake and brought it out quickly. Thankfully, it was absolutely delicious and ended up being one of the highlights of the meal. The fresh burrata paired perfectly with the heirloom tomatoes and tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. Toward the end of dinner, service became difficult again. We were ready for more water, a box, and the check, but our server was nowhere to be found despite the restaurant not being particularly busy since it was still early in the evening. I eventually had to get up and ask the bartender for assistance. Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance and appreciated the quality of the food. There were definitely some service inconsistencies, but the restaurant has a lot of potential and several dishes that stood out.
