This place is so dope. It's indeed a hidden gem. They are hip-hop throwback R&B all night. The ambience is so hip cool gives you retro 90s vibe. A great place to grab a bite or even go to the bar sit down and get a drink. It gives me a little bit of a speakeasy feel. Each meal is made so uniquely with a different ingredients that actually works together. Our waiter was so helpful with suggestions. Would definitely say make sure you do a reservation. And go with an open mind definitely recommend. They have parking in the back of the building.

Be warned about the parking situation: there's not a lot of parking. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times but no one answered. The receptionist didn't get my calls. Another group also commented they called and no one answered. The music was kind of loud near the reception. If you're a large party, I cannot stress this enough make. a. reservation. We got seated upstairs and the experience was a 180. The bar looked so cool and I loved the purple lights. The ambiance was perfect. Everyone loved their drinks (get the lychee martini). the octopus, the bao buns, the sea bass, and the fried chicken were . Some dishes had a little kick but still enjoyable. Everything was so good. I enjoyed this Asian-Latin fusion.

Cozy spot on Biscayne that envelopes in warmth as you as soon as you step in. You feel invited into this Asian oasis with delish bites and craft cocktails. We almost ordered seconds as the appetizers were Good. Highly recommend family style so you can try everything. The branzino is a good size portion. Noodles were a bit small to share, but every strand was savory. The octopus was fresh and chargrilled to perfection, possibly the best I've had. Tip : happy hour is only at the bar! So don't book a table expecting the HH prices

While in the area had some locals recommend trying this spot and for the most part didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, just wish our server was a bit better. They sat us on the wall right next to a speaker and could barely hear our server talk. They did eventually turn it down a little bit but took multiple times to get a drink menu for a second drink but she never came back to order the second drink. The fried rice, dumplings chicken wings and branzino were great dishes packed with flavor. We don't mind spending the money for great food but please improve service! It was also cool that the walls had a hand painted mural.

This spot was selected from the Chase Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables. We were drawn towards the modern vietnamese fusion aspect of the menu and it surely did not disappoint. We were welcomed with two glasses of champagne while we browsed the menu. We decided on the short rib. The short rib was served with bao buns, spicy watermelon salad, green papaya salad, cucumber salad, along with some lettuce and pickled veggies. It was truly curated to serve up the ~perfect bite~ The DRINK! Oh my goodness. I don't say this lightly but that was probably the best cocktail I have ever tasted in my life. It was a gin-based cocktail with an UBE (hellooo?!?!?!) foam on top. This drink WILL be living in my head rent-free until further notice.

My mom and I had a lovely dinner experience here! We loved the octopus, millionaire rice, branzino, and seasonal mushrooms! The decor is very eclectic, be sure to spend some time checking out all the items around the restaurant. It's a fun vibe! The service was excellent. Food came out in a timely manner and Carolina was an excellent server and gave great recommendations!

What a great date night spot! The vibe was super nice! We were sat in the dining room which was very quiet to begin, but as the night continued it got lively. The service was 10/10 Carolina was beyond attentive and so helpful with the menu with so many recommendations! She made sure we were having an awesome time!! We tried a lot of plates and all were tasty! Keep in mind some veggie plates have a spicy kick! Our favorite of the night was the short rib! Wow! falls off the bone so tender and flavorful! Next with the Chicharrón the criolla sauce so good we kept it to pour over the rice! The drinks weren't a huge selection but I loved my margarita! 10/10

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday utilizing my Chase Sapphire credit. I was surprised how many years this restaurant was in South Florida as I had never heard of it previously. It was a rainy day, the parking a bit tight thankfully it was not a busy weekend. They recommended 2-3 dishes per person. Each dish 20+. We loved everything we ordered except the highly rated noodles. The wings and the rolls were my favorite. Skip the noodles. Definitely recommend but be prepared for the bill as these small dishes adds up. The four plates and dessert were perfect for both of us.

The ambiance is moody, modern, and elegant. The service is very attentive. I visited around 6 on Saturday and was able to catch the happy hour at the bar for half off drinks. The food is yummy, albeit on the pricy side. I ordered the octopus to share and the short rib special which seemed to be the best value on the menu. It is just enough for two people to share.

Food? Off the chain. Prices? I think Holy Phuc! may be a better name for this place. We had the fried chicken, the steak, and the fried rice. All three were admittedly, outstanding. The cocktails were outstanding. What was weird, that cost it a star, is that the server had to announce that there are three most popular dishes were not available because "it's been a busy weekend, and we ran out of these things yesterday." Granted this is Labor Day weekend. But this is just Sunday on Labor Day weekend. Why it is strange is because the things that were not available were rolls, bao, and dumplings. All things that you can make very quickly in the morning, before service. I've made them and I know how many you can turn out with a few people working on them. Visit any good dim sum joint and you'll see people sitting around a table talking and knocking these things out by the dozens. To my knowledge, there hasn't been a shortage of most of the ingredients for any of those things as well which given that you're bringing in a lot of people over the three day weekend you probably want to make sure that you're making people happy you would want to make sure they were in good supply. It's one thing to say it ran out earlier in the service except it was 5:30p at night when we were eating. And you were out of it the day before? Are these frozen and pre-prepared? Pro food. Amateur hour prep. Disappointing lack of forecasting of need of popular items That is not a winning combination. Especially at these rather lofty prices. Service was excellent. The whole concept of the dining room in the front of the house is very hipster. Cool. Quite a bit of fun. Parking? Non-existent. The lot is more than full, and street parking is not available in front of the building or on the side street there. You would have to go block further down to find paid street parking if you can. Star down for the parking. What's the other star? The prices are a bit phuced up. Three mains. Four drinks. $225 with tip (mandatory and set). When a quality New Vietnamese place in London is about half your price you're doing something a bit off. That meal set me back just about $70 all in. So if it had been two people $140 roughly, with the currency conversion. Yes, food prices have gone up, but not that much. I would go back. The food was delicious. I'll just pray that my credit score stays high enough that I can pass the affordability background check and come in. If you're trying to impress a date by how much money you can drop on a meal, then this is your place. Otherwise, you may end up saying Phuc this!

On a business trip to Miami, I had the opportunity to meet a local friend the evening prior for dinner, and he suggested Phuc Yea because the catchy name ... well ... caught his attention. For both of us, we figured the place was worth the try. The spot wasn't crowded on a Sunday night, and we had wonderful service from Giuliana and her colleagues. Very attentive and friendly indeed. The atmosphere is a mix of Asian influences with a Latin flair, which made for an interesting dining room. The music was a tad loud, though. While the tunes added to the vibe, I would have preferred a few notches lower on the volume. After a cocktail each, we shared a handful of "tapas" items from the menu. The Green Papaya Salad was delicious (although the most traditional of the items we shared), and we loved the signature Octopus Carpaccio. Their Ceviche was good (not great) and we shared their Cha Gio (crispy pork and shrimp rolls), which were excellent. Moving toward mains, we split the Millionaire Fried Rice and an order of Bo Luc Lac ... both were wonderful. We finished off the evening with their chocolate and coconut bread pudding (super yummy). With a cocktail each and included gratuity, dinner was $125 per hear, which seemed spot-on for the quality and experience. If I lived in Miami, I'd surely be back. My friend, who does, plans to return with his wife to share this wonderful find.

Title: Avoid This Place I just had my first meal here, and it was a massive disappointment. The pricing is honestly insulting. They charge $28 for a small cup of rice (they call it 'Millionaire Rice') and $20 for a small cup of noodles. Both are listed as main dishes, but the portions are tiny. The environment makes the prices even harder to swallow. The seating is incredibly cramped. The lighting is poor, and the place doesn't even feel clean; the tables were old and oily. You can get much better value and a cleaner, more comfortable experience at plenty of other spots in Miami. Save your money and go somewhere else.

You'd think these folks just took your best friends magical back yard and created the most fun party in their house, but instead its at Understory and you can enjoy this oasis weekly on Thursday's and Fridays. I went for the first time last Thursday where I got to try a rum punch but with Mezcal that was delish. Then I moved on to a selection of delish wines and pizza by Flour and Weirdoughs. To say the vibe is impeccable is an understatement. I happily stayed until they closed at midnight, passing the time hanging out with friends and listening to the most fire playlist. They also have live jazz that starts at 9, which you can't really hear from the wine bar area since the space is so large, and DJs later in the evening as well as Friday.
