My wife ordered the Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Pot, which came with plenty of meat and fantastic flavor. I had the lamb hot pot, also very good. We were craving for hot pot comfort food and found this place in west side of Miami, drove about 30 min to get there from down town and luckily got seated right in on a Friday night. After 6:30, there was a line. Waitress was swamped by the holiday traffic, only two person took care of 15-16 tables, 50+ customers. We quickly sent the orders in, and waited for about 15-20 minutes to get our hot pots. Someone next to us, sat for about one hour and still couldn't got their food... Underestimated how big the portion size is, we should've just ordered 2 pots (3 adults and 1 kid). In stead we got 3: Beef, Lamb and milk cheese. We couldn't finish them all, probably still had food for one pot. Flavor is ok, some food might not be fresh, just tasted weird. Expected a bigger pot given such a bigger port size food. theirs were small and could easily got broth spilled or the pot tipped over. The flame also initially was bigger, I don't know if it's a fire hazard, looked dangerous to me. The owner should check the Boiling point or similar individual hot pots operators in Southern California, use bigger pot, or less broth, control heat source. Also be careful about the bill, they initially got me the wrong items on my bill. read more

After a visit at the Frost Art Museum at FIU we needed lunch. The shopping center on 107th has a variety of places. We decided to give this a try. It was worth it. The decor is kind of weird, representative of a past tenant, maybe a Greek restaurant. It's a hot pot restaurant, but diners get an individual "pot" rather than the communal pot in other similar restaurants. Service was good, but a little bit slow as every order seemed to be assembled individually. It was not a long wait, and well worth it. My husband had a beef hot pot; mine was lamb - medium spice; it was a bit above my spice level, but I enjoyed. The dishes are topped with rice noodles that you have to stir in to quickly cook. Lots of meat, tofu, vegetables, and other ingredients. I did not that quail eggs, a favorite, are add-ins; I'll add them next time. Service was just great. The Sichuan hot pot was more but is a bigger pot than the cheaper options which was nice to note, and the flavors were pretty authentic for Taiwanese hot pot! It's nice to have a legit hotpot place around Miami, a city that's pretty lacking in good Asian food. My wife and I came here late on a Saturday ever driving back from the Keys and had a nice dinner before getting home. Unfortunately, they didn't have any of the stinky tofu left that we wanted to get as an appetizer, but the beef and lamb hot pots we had were filling and tasty. The each came with their own personal pot over a little fire loaded with the right amount of fuel to keep it running through most of the dinner. The portions of meat in each were the most impressive part of the meal, they really do not skimp on the sliced beef or lamb. Each pot was put together nicely with a good assortment of meat, veggies, tofu, noodles, and other fillings like fish cakes or mushrooms etc, and topped up with a tasty meaty broth. The place is on the smaller side so it has a chill and relaxed vibe, but service was still attentive and pretty prompt. i saw the reviews for this place on yelp and figured i'd give it a shot, i would give this place a 2.5 if i could. The broth was pretty flavorful, but some of the items that were listed on the menu were simply not in the soup at all like the actual noodles lol. We also got some calamari which wasn't too bad, but it wasn't great either. Our server seemed really stressed. I almost felt bad asking him for things but he was pretty nice and they were pretty packed for a Tuesday night. The vibes were very DIY not sure what the theme was, but I was Vibin with the music. We got the curry hot pot and although it brought a lot of things, we shared it and felt pretty unsatisfied and there also wasn't that much broth which I think all my fellow soup enthusiast understand is the whole reason for a hot pot. But my last experience here was not my favorite -- I ordered the #8 Thai Tom yum hotpot which said came with a seafood variety of mussels, shrimp, baby octo, and calamari. There was plenty of calamari, but I failed to find a single piece of either baby octopus or shrimp. Mussels there were only two. Service was fine; I wish the staff came by to check on my food so I could've mentioned my earlier issue. I didn't even have my water refilled unfortunately. Unlike traditional locations where you serve a bunch of things to cook yourself, they serve the bowls already premade with the items then and then light them up so that they can cook further. Came here to eat with family, and I love that we all can get individual pots to fit our own tastes. The pots can be pretty sizable, especially since the broth can fill you up, so I ended up sharing a Thai Tom Yum Hot Pot with another person. With each hot pot, you choose the spicy level you want and they each come with a bowl of rice. The Thai Tom Yum had plenty of veggies like cabbage, taro, enoki, mushroom, in addition to the protein (pork, fish ball, shrimp, clam, octopus). The broth was flavorful and as with every hot pot place, there are sauces you can add as well. The prices were pretty decent (most of the hot pot options were $15-20 each, only the seafood lobster was closer to $30), and if you share a pot, it's even cheaper. Service was pretty attentive and parking is widely available since it's in a plaza. Would definitely come here again if I'm craving individual hot pot but don't want the size and prices of a buffet. read more

Can you really say is traditional hot pot? If your going to introduce stinky tofu hot pot then you should do it instead of giving that type of tofu. Also what is with the portion of the tofu since thats kind of ridiculous. Also the other ingredients don't seem to be fresh. End up getting stomach aches after. Been to many hot pot places and i suggest they need to improve on a lot of things here. Even the service is slow and doesn't seem to care that much. The Ambiance is also kind of odd. I thought I'd get tired of the curry, but there was actually so much umami and there flavors underlying the curry that I enjoyed it very much. I thought the price for add onswas a little much ($3-$6 for additional add ons) and so I just kept my pot as is. I finished all of it and definitely left pretty full. I also got 3/5 spicy and didn't think it was spicy (but I have a high spice tolerance). The mango sago was a 4/5 just because there wasn't that much actual mango in it. However it's hard to find this dish anywhere in Miami! If you like boba, you'll like this :) SERVICE 3/5 Food came out fast.
