I hadn't been to Arbetter's Hot Dogs in at least five years, and I am SO glad I stopped back in. I…read morebrought my boyfriend, who has lived in Florida his entire life and somehow had never been here and I immediately thought, "This has to change today." The nostalgia hit me the second we walked in. The inside hasn't changed a bit, and honestly, that's what makes this place so special. In a world full of corporate chains and overdone concepts, Arbetter's is the real deal of authentic, classic, and full of character. I loved seeing the old Larry Bird poster still on the wall, the photos of infamous locals, and that beautifully simple menu that proves you don't need a hundred options when you've perfected what you do. I had the C.O. hot dog with cheese fries, and my boyfriend went with the chili cheese onion dog. Absolute perfection. You simply do not mess with a formula this good. Every bite brought back memories, and somehow it tasted exactly as amazing as I remembered. This little hole-in-the-wall will forever be ingrained in my memory as THE best hot dog spot. The service is lightning fast, the few tables inside stay packed, and the turnover is nonstop but they've got the system down to a science. If you're from Miami, you already know. If you're not, make the trip.

Now this is a place for diners drive in's and dives... this is definitely that kind of feeling…read more It's full of life, the boss/owner is super passionate about everything that goes on. We ordered 3 hot dogs. Two grilled sabret chille cheese dogs and one grilled sabret with sauted onions. The dogs were so delicious. Tasted just like NYC hot dogs! Can't get that flavor anywhere. Also fries with cheese sauce. And chili on the side. 10/10. They put the fries down to order. Omg so perfect. It may look a little sketchy but so worth it. It's clean and the staff goes around and cleans after ppl get up as best they can. The staff super nice! Will go back tons! Those snap in the sabret dogs are epic!

Fatman Hotdogs and More is straight fire if you're craving a loaded dog done every possible way…read more They've got hotdogs in every style you can think of, and the chicken bacon ranch dog was hands-down my favorite, packed with flavor and insanely satisfying. The food definitely doesn't hold back, everything is bold and indulgent, and you can mix and match combos to your heart's content. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is that it can get a little greasy at times, but honestly, that's part of the guilty-pleasure vibe. Other than that... soooo good.

The service was friendly and the food was cooked fresh to order. I got the Mac Daddy with the Fatman Sauce and potato sticks and a side of Fatman Tots with Tot Sauce. First off, the Mac Daddy was MINDBLOWING. The dog was girthy and savory, almost like a kielbasa. The mac and cheese was creamy, the Fatman sauce gave it a nice kick and the potato sticks gave a welcome crunchy texture. The Fatman Tots were heavily seasoned before even dipping into the Tot Sauce, which was savory, sour, and slightly sweet. I might have preferred the Fatman Sauce to dip because the tot sauce plus the tot seasoning was a little too much for me, but that's just personal preference. Tot sauce with plain tots would be fire, too. Did I drive two hours roundtrip for a hot dog? Yes I did, and I would do it again for this place anytime.
