So this place is known for its drinks and bar food and honestly, it delivered on those two fronts, and service was actually really great as well. How do you go wrong with honey Butter croissants seriously good. The starters we had were the Santa Fe spinach dip, which was really delicious, addictive. I had the classic margarita with patron and it was delicious. Very big sizes bang for your buck. I also had the Key West chicken and shrimp, with a pineapple pico de gallo honestly it was delicious. It came with broccoli that was perfectly steamed, and a little bit of butter. Everybody seemed to like their dishes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe was pretty chill with a big screen TVs honestly worth going back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you're craving comfort food or other casual style food, Cheddar's may be your place. After you are seated, you will start your dining experience with plate of hot icing topped croissants. The menu offers everything from salads, sandwiches, and entrees including seafood, steaks, and chicken. They also offer lunch specials during the week. I had a chicken pot pie which was served piping hot and was filled with vegetables. Since it was a lunch special, it came with a side. My friend had the fish and chips and said it was moist and delicious. If you're going for the first time, make sure you sign up for their loyalty program so you can get the free tortilla chips with salsa and queso. For a reasonably priced, ample portioned, good food, dining experience, give Cheddar's a try.

Food was decent had the app sampler spin dip not cheesy enough. Tenders great and cheese bites ok. The potato soup was mucho mucho potato-e. My bf had salmon And shrimp and salmon and said very good and flavorful. The crossiant was buttery and yummy. Service was great lady server in bar so personable and good suggestions. Would go back because of her. Bf also had onion rings and omg they were amazing

Stopped here on the way back from Homestead for lunch and they we were able to get quick seating. We were able to order appetizers and entrees with a good turn around on the time. I was able to place my order for modifications for gluten and dairy free items. However when the bill came there was an up charge. Apparently the server removed the rice and substitute it for a bowl of salad leaving me with just one side and explained that there was an extra charge after the bill came. If I knew that I would be getting less food for more money I wouldn't haven't ordered it and this is a dishonest practice. I asked to speak with the manager and they were able to take off the extra charge.

Kendall neighbors, listen up! Cheddars from scratch is a hot mess. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got there at 3 PM on a Saturday we liked the ambiance, we were seated immediately; the place was dead.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Took forever to order and then our drinks took 30 minutes. We were thinking, okay, they're just really committed to from scratch. 2 waters and 1 bottled beer? Maybe. We were trying to maintain a positive attitude. But nope, our free chips and queso never showed up. My chicken tenders cost $14 and were missing everything else. We complained. Waiter did one thing he's very good at, that's ghosting us. A too laid back Manager came over and gave us a whopping 10% off he referred to as a "small 10% discount. Great attitude and and tried to act like he was doing us a solid. Servers were blaming the kitchen, we were blaming the servers. Don't bother to go there. You will be disappointed. Take your 2026 hard cash to Texas Roadhouse grill in the same area and you will have a solid experience.

Very tasty dinner. Salmon was fine perfect. Broccoli was amazing and the Cesar was nice. The service was excellent. Not buts here. They are on point

This restaurant was my nephew's choice for his birthday dinner. We walked in early on a Tuesday afternoon, and there were plenty of tables open. We sat in a big booth by the bar. My nephew recommended the cheese bites, which were so tasty. Loved their breading, it was light and crunchy. The honey butter croissants that the friendly waiter brought out at the beginning of the meal were pillowy and tasted decadent because of the delicious drizzled honey butter they were adorned with. We also ordered the Spinach Dip, which turned out to be my favorite dish. Not only was it super scrumptious and cheesy gooey, but also a great big heaping serving, which was more than enough for our table. I ordered a New Orleans-style pasta, which was bland and forgettable. However, those who ordered the country-fried chicken seemed to really be enjoying themselves. Another standout of this place is the Happy Hour prices, unheard of in these tariff times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in all, I can see the reason this place is a family favorite for many.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'm surprised to see how mixed the reviews are from this restaurant. We came here for dinner with some friends and everybody seemed to be pleased with their food, so were the kids. To start off, the croissants were a total hit. The buffalo chicken wrappers were good but the mix of cabbage and pickle maybe does not go too well together. The coconut shrimps were fresh, hot and crispy. So was the country fried chicken. This one isn't my jam but husband enjoyed it, along with the gravy. Kids' meals were decent amount of food, compared to other places where portions are smaller. Service was great, from the person at the front to the main waiter to the person he was training. I liked the ambience too. The lighting and the way the restaurant is set up. Our personal experience for this visit was great and we all said we'd like to go back to try other things.

On our first visit, we ordered the breakfast sandwich, the Banana Walnut Pancake, and two iced lattes (one with 2% milk and one with oat milk). Everything was outstanding. The breakfast sandwich was packed with flavor, the latte was perfectly balanced, and the Banana Walnut Pancake was on another level. The combination of caramelized banana, toasted walnuts, and their smoked maple syrup was absolutely RIDICULOUS. We loved it so much that we came back just two days later. This time, we shared the breakfast sandwich because we needed to save room for more pancakes. We ordered the Lemon Curd & Blueberry Pancake and the Brunch Still Hungover Pancake (their espresso-inspired pancake), and somehow they were even better than we expected. The Lemon Curd & Blueberry was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced, while the Brunch Still Hungover was one of the most unique pancakes I've ever had rich coffee flavor without being overly sweet. That's the magic there for me, you might look at these pancakes and assume it's "too much" or might be overwhelming but the flavors are so perfectly balanced, it's a darn masterpiece. What really made the experience special, though, was the owner. He took the time to chat with us, explain the inspiration behind some of the menu items. You can tell this isn't just a restaurant to him, it's something he's genuinely passionate about. That passion comes through in every plate that leaves the kitchen. The staff was warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. In a city where brunch spots come and go, Jealous Fork feels like the kind of place that earns regulars. At this point, our goal is simple: keep coming back until we've tried the entire menu. As I'm writing this in deciding to go back to try the burgers..BRB

Not that the pizza isn't good; it just isn't great. And it is not because of the ingredients as they all tasted fresh and delicious. It is the preparation. Now let me set some foundation here. I have lived in Rhode Island where pizza is a staple. I have lived in New York and Connecticut, which, despite being neighboring states have entirely different ideas of what the perfect pizza is, and I had the good fortune of the best of both. I have lived in Massachusetts we're outside of the north end of Boston pizza is largely very mediocre and I give all this information just to tell you that I have an established standard for pizza that may differ from other peoples. My favorites come out of coal fired brick ovens. So I was pretty excited about trying Strange Beast. They use a gas fired pizza oven that reaches the same temperatures as the ones to make apizza but they make a Neapolitan pie which traditionally has a soft center whereas Apizza is baked longer to achieve a sturdy, crispy crunch. And this is the part that disappoints me. That soft center does not hold the toppings well and makes the pizza droop when you pick it up. Much like the New York pizza that you have to fold over to keep the toppings from falling off, this pizza just did not have that firmness that I love so much. And on this evening when I ordered the Swamp Thing (Mozzarella, Ricotta, Red Onion, Cherry Tomatoes, Pesto) the center actually seemed raw. Somehow, despite having all my favorite flavors, it looked beautiful on the pan, but flopped over and lost its appeal when it was picked up the flavors all in all were pretty good. The restaurant itself has a pretty cool vibe and the servers were superb. In addition to grieving great service, they were friendly and engaging. This is kind of a highlight of the restaurant. This review is based on a single experience and I will probably try it again. I may ask them to cook the pizza well done to see if it comes closer to what I like. I can't give it my highest recommendation, but I would never give it less than four stars based on even the service alone. So I will be back again an update this sometime soon.

Even so, I wanted to take a moment to write this review. First of all, I'm usually not a big fan of large restaurant franchises, but Texas Roadhouse is definitely an exception. This place is unique. No matter what day or time you show up, it always seems to be packed. The crowd is always having a good time, and yes, this place is loud as heck! If you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy a meal and have a conversation, this probably isn't the place for you. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly host and seated right away. Throughout our visit, every staff member we encountered was welcoming and attentive. During dinner, multiple team members stopped by to make sure everything was going well and to ask if we needed anything. That's not something you typically expect from a restaurant franchise of this size, especially one that's constantly busy. The restaurant was very clean, well-maintained, and had a fun, energetic atmosphere. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in true Texas-sized portions. My rack of ribs was absolutely fall-off-the-bone tender, and the warm bread was simply to die for. Five stars all the way around. Great food, excellent service, and a lively atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

No, but it's consistently good. Today I started with a 100 calorie $6 Blackberry porch rocker vodka drink. Delicious! I rarely drink, but hey why pass it up? Hubby likes that you can pick out the steak from the case. Today he got prime rib. They always give you hot fresh rolls with honey butter gratis. Yay! The music is going, lots of lively people watching games at the bar, families, and the staff rocks it with the occasional Texas style line dance break! I love the chili, salads, ice tea & free peanuts. Portions are good, quality consistent. If you are looking to hang at a fun high energy place (it's loud) this chain is a solid local choice. Thanks for following me, happy 2026!

My group of 3 walked up to the outdoor hostess, we gave a name for our group, it was about a 30-40 minute wait. It was expected since word of mouth was passed along that this place usually has a wait to be seated. Once we were sat on a booth, we were greeted by the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable waiter, sad to say, I don't remember her name, but the customer service was all the way there! When I scanned through the menu, I wanted to dig all the way in. Keep in mind, I was a bit skeptical since I am not the biggest BBQ fan. For starters we ordered their brisket bacon, brisket wings, and a brisket empanada. We were also told there was a daily special, pulled pork mac & cheese french fries so of course we got an order. Their menu has changed since my initial visit, but it was all a la carte style; we created our own "platter" consisting of Mac and cheese, cafecito ribs, sausage, brisket, corn bread, coleslaw, elote, and maduros. Ooo weee! That's a mouthful and it was damn good. Their brisket meat is smoked to absolute perfection, has a crisp and is still extremely juicy (we ordered lean style). The flavors are all the way there and just explode in your mouth, you can't go here and NOT order their brisket, like cmon. I was very impressed. Now, I'm a carb junkie, so I was a major fan of their Mac and cheese and corn bread. I even took some to go, it was that delicious. You will be in the best food coma after all of that, I know I sure was! Though the food was phenomenal, I have to give up to the front and BOH. The real MVP's. You really see the staff work as a team, it's a sight to see. Our waiter, expos, and manager walked over to our booth throughout our munch time and asked if we were good, how our experience was, etc. The attentiveness was present- that's a lost art in Miami lol, so bravo! Great ambiance, food, and above all things customer service!
