So this place is known for its drinks and bar food and honestly, it delivered on those two fronts, and service was actually really great as well. How do you go wrong with honey Butter croissants seriously good. The starters we had were the Santa Fe spinach dip, which was really delicious, addictive. I had the classic margarita with patron and it was delicious. Very big sizes bang for your buck. I also had the Key West chicken and shrimp, with a pineapple pico de gallo honestly it was delicious. Stopped here on the way back from Homestead for lunch and they we were able to get quick seating. We were able to order appetizers and entrees with a good turn around on the time. I was able to place my order for modifications for gluten and dairy free items. However when the bill came there was an up charge. Apparently the server removed the rice and substitute it for a bowl of salad leaving me with just one side and explained that there was an extra charge after the bill came. If I knew that I would be getting less food for more money I wouldn't haven't ordered it and this is a dishonest practice. I asked to speak with the manager and they were able to take off the extra charge. read more

Kendall neighbors, listen up! Cheddars from scratch is a hot mess. We got there at 3 PM on a Saturday we liked the ambiance, we were seated immediately; the place was dead. Took forever to order and then our drinks took 30 minutes. We were thinking, okay, they're just really committed to from scratch. 2 waters and 1 bottled beer? Maybe. We were trying to maintain a positive attitude. But nope, our free chips and queso never showed up. My chicken tenders cost $14 and were missing everything else. We complained. Waiter did one thing he's very good at, that's ghosting us. A too laid back Manager came over and gave us a whopping 10% off he referred to as a "small 10% discount. Great attitude and and tried to act like he was doing us a solid. Servers were blaming the kitchen, we were blaming the servers. Don't bother to go there. You will be disappointed. Side of green beans they were cut in small pieces with a slightly Smokey sweet flavor completely different twist on beans . One of my favorites with good food and great prices and great decor. I always order the t bone steak . We ordered two, one medium well another medium. We got medium and rare. It was really raw and w tons of grease . Kinda took my appetite away . The manager took it of but the kitchen should really pay attention.wife was disappointed and we ate what we could off the medium . Great apple crisp dessert yummm great Caesar salad . Bar tender was good and very busy. He did ask us for replacement but to me both steaks were wrong. And tons of pepper too black pepper. This restaurant was my nephew's choice for his birthday dinner. We walked in early on a Tuesday afternoon, and there were plenty of tables open. We sat in a big booth by the bar. My nephew recommended the cheese bites, which were so tasty. Loved their breading, it was light and crunchy. The honey butter croissants that the friendly waiter brought out at the beginning of the meal were pillowy and tasted decadent because of the delicious drizzled honey butter they were adorned with. We also ordered the Spinach Dip, which turned out to be my favorite dish. Not only was it super scrumptious and cheesy gooey, but also a great big heaping serving, which was more than enough for our table. I ordered a New Orleans-style pasta, which was bland and forgettable. However, those who ordered the country-fried chicken seemed to really be enjoying themselves. I'm surprised to see how mixed the reviews are from this restaurant. We came here for dinner with some friends and everybody seemed to be pleased with their food, so were the kids. To start off, the croissants were a total hit. The buffalo chicken wrappers were good but the mix of cabbage and pickle maybe does not go too well together. The coconut shrimps were fresh, hot and crispy. So was the country fried chicken. This one isn't my jam but husband enjoyed it, along with the gravy. Kids' meals were decent amount of food, compared to other places where portions are smaller. Service was great, from the person at the front to the main waiter to the person he was training. Second visit. First time was meh; but decided to give a second chance. Ordered a very simple, straightforward dish that has been a favorite of mine for over 4 decades. Country fried steak with gravy, potatoes and veg. Again, disappointed. Steak totally unseasoned. Worse was that, again, the golden brown and perfectly crisp crust fell off every bite as soon as the fork touched it. Worst of all... no gravy. I had to wait nearly ten minutes for a ramekin of gravy to be brought, leaving me with a steak that had cooled, with breading that was no longer appetizing. While it looked ok, Broccoli was mushy. I don't know what to say anymore. I have had significantly better at Dennys and Cracker Barrel. Not a hard dish to execute. #wow Cordial service, but when the food has to be, almost in its entirety, packed for my omnivorous son at home, this was a true disappointment. I may, if my wife insists, give one more try. Close to home, a great menu, warm servers... but so far subpar execution on entrees. One star for the bread (although I can easily make that at home), and one for our cordial server (he did his best). Should be one star were it not for him. Maybe next time. read more

They tasted as though they were marinated in hot sauce. They liked the Wisconsin cheese flavor and tasted like a cheap imitation cheese. Ordered two chicken Alfredo with broccoli. They came with hardly any sauce on the dish. Ordered more sauce and was charged $.99 for the extra sauce. The chicken was hard and almost rubbery. The noodles were over cooked. By the end of the night we were sick due to this food. Server in the beginning, was very kind and attentive, but then went missing, and didn't even know we were unhappy with our food as he never came back to the table. I this place! We tried it about a month ago & loved it. I was craving fried chicken & my hubby reminded me how much I loved it, so off we went! I'm a biscuit girl but the croissants with honey sauce are to die for! And they're complimentary :) my favorite price! Had to have the fried chicken breast again. It is freshly breaded & fried; no pre breaded frozen stuff here & the gravy is delish. I also had a side of brown gravy to dip my fries and although good, I love their white gravy more. I recommend getting this appetizer because it's flavorful and will still leave room for your entree. For entrees, we ordered Chicken Tenders, Full Rack Baby Back Ribs, the Salmon, and the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich! All of these meals were very good. The ribs were actually very delicious and the meat was so soft! It fell off the bones!! The chicken sandwich was very big and crunchy. The taste of the chicken was really good and the fries were yummy! For drinks, we ordered the Painkiller and the Island Tiki. Both are such fun drinks to order and are huge! Super tasty. Just be aware, the environment at night is very loud because it does get busy. There may also be a wait time to be seated (but they will call you by phone when it's your turn). I always wanted to try this place is it's so near my house. My parents invited me this past weekend and we had a good time, the waiter told us that the service will be done in 15 minutes and that's exactly how much he lost our weight which is great. The server was nice and try to help us, even though I do not like the tablet idea in the table. I liked how fresh was the fried chicken all my salad and the delicious cheese appetizer which were also fried. I liked the prices because they were very good. I didn't like how slippery was the floor and I don't know why. When I went to the restroom I needed to walk slowly because I felt that I was gonna fall says the floor was slippery. I also didn't like that the menus (even though they cleaned them) they were still wet so that's not nice for me I don't like to touch wet menus.
