Just tried Mr. & Mrs. Bun and I can honestly say this was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. I ordered the pork belly sandwich with fries and... WOW. The sandwich was absolutely amazing. The pork belly was cooked perfectly and the sauce had a slight kick to it that added the perfect amount of spice without overpowering the flavors. Now let's talk about the fries. Hot, fresh, crispy, and stringy in the best way possible. They were so good they could stand on their own, but paired with the sandwich, it was a perfect combo. Well hard to believe that this restaurant has been around since 2015 and I just found out about them.... Good grief! Well better late than never I guess and boy where we glad we decided to to check them out. Truthfully we were watching Food Channel earlier this week and saw Guy Fieri's special on their restaurant which really peaked our interest, so first chance we had we headed on over. Upon arriving we were seated pretty quickly and after some conversations with our server, who happened to be one of the owners we made some selections and were on our way. On this occasion we opted for the Smoked Tuna Bruschetta, the Pork Belly Sandwich, the Short Rib Sandwich and the Sweet Potato Fries. I can honestly say that everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and actually made to order. What!!! That is correct all was made to order and you can taste it in every bite. Based on our experience I think I can go out on a limb here and say that I am pretty sure that everything else on the menu is probably just as delicious as well. We also tried the homemade frozen lemonade which was freshly made and tasty as well. Although we did not have any desserts, I can share that those are home made as well by the owners. Although we did not have desserts, the owner gave us a piece of their carrot walnut cake on the house, which was completely unexpected and very nice of them. Now they are located in a strip mall in West Kendall, in a very unassuming strip mall but no worries as their is plenty of parking available and a few other eateries that looked pretty interesting as well. Overall, we had a great experience and the service they provided was excellent as well. Highly recommend that you pay them a visit and check them out as I do not think you will be disappointed. If you can't make it out to them, then DoorDash or UBER Eats may be an option for you. Either way you really have try them out. Wow. I cannot say wow enough!!! From the minute, we walked in, we were greeted with such a warm welcome from the chef/owner. He told us about the amazing specials and offered great recommendations. I had a mango mimosa which was delicious and my friend had a sangria which she enjoyed. We started with the criolla soup and it was amazing. Delicious and so flavorful. We also had bacon wrapped tamales. So good and didn't even need the dipping sauce but the sauce was great. For the meal we shared pollo chi jao Kai. The fried chicken wasn't an overwhelming coating and the pickled turnips and carrots elevated the flavor. I had to take the desserts to go bc I was beyond full. I got the cookies and cream and 4 leches Lucuma to share the other my daughter. OMG. The 4leches was so sweet but so good. Oreo was mouselike and delicious. I can't wait to come back. Been wanting to try this place for a while now so when my husband suggested ordering lunch from here, I jumped at the opportunity. We ordered: Jalea sandwich Spaghetti pesto rolls Fried dumplings with short rib and cream cheese Bacon wrapped tamales 2 lemonades The bacon wrapped tamales were my favorite. I don't normally like tamales but the bacon was delicious and there were little pieces of chicharron that were spectacular!! I have to go back and order the pancetta! I loved all the sauces too!! A quaint sandwich (and more) place in Miami. Came here before a photoshoot for some delicious food to fuel me through it and it was delicious. The restaurant itself is very small but lucky for us, there wasn't a wait. Its a little sit down restaurant with a lot of character with both the staff and the decorations. We were handed menus and I came with a local expert so he helped me navigate through the menu like a pro. We got a pitcher of sangria and a few bites to share- everything was so tasty! This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but what happened? I remember the owners were always there and were really attentive to the food. Now it seems like the quality has gone downhill. Unfortunately, this last time I got an empanada to go. When I opened it at home it seemed different (crust and filling was a little weird). I foolishly trusted it and got food poisoning. Was sick all day. When I called them to explain what had happened, just to warn them about the empanada, the girl answering their phone literally hung up on me! Very disappointing. I wasn't trying to cause a problem. I am a local resident and (used to be) a fan. This was always a place I would bring family and friends to. But no more. What a shame. read more

Great little place in West Kendall with amazing staff and even better sandwiches! You might miss it just driving enough the plaza but once you stop in, you'll be back or more. For appetizers I had the Fried Dumplings with Short Rib and Cream Cheese as well as the Aji de Gallina bites - both amazing and also filling!! For the sandwich, I went with my favorite, Asado con Palta and it never disappoints. Did I mention it's huge?! And who can leave an Argentinian spot without some Suspiro Limeña?! It was empty when we arrived, but it's a week day and late afternoon. The hostess/waitress (only employee working) was very polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. Peruvian (fusion) is one of our favorites, but this tasted like fast food but 3x the price. The sweet potato fries were the best part, both sandwiches lacked flavor and texture. The chef greeted me and sat me down, i ordered the passion fruit smoothie, then to start i ordered the tamales wrapped in bacon, oh so delicious, for main i was against the wall between the asado con palta sandwich or the pollo chi jao kai, the chef recommended de latter pollo sandwich. It was huge and delicious i ordered a side of fries and they brought a small bucket with really great fresh crispy french fries, the service was very good, the restaurant is a small but very well appointed and it has a great vibe. We got the Jalea (fish, shrimp, calamari) and the braised short rib sandwiches. They were both very good and flavorful in different ways. The jalea had the fish cooked tenderly but with the breading still crispy, and the seafood went well with the Cole slaw-like vegetables. The braised short rib was less rich which I appreciated but there was a smokiness to the meat that helped it from being simple. They were a mess to eat but I'd come again and try the other options. I've been meaning to stop by this place for YEARS and I finally popped in this weekend. To sum it up in one word: WOW. I can't believe such a delicious spot is so close by. I had the pollo chi jao kai and it was absolutely delicious. Each bite melted in my mouth. I went during happy hour and tried the sangria, it was pretty tasty! The Ferrero Rocher dessert was also delicious, I'll be ordering it again in the future. I didn't like the short rib dumplings, so I'll be trying a different appetizer next time. But the bottom line is, there WILL be a next time. So worth it to try all of the sandwiches. I'd also love to try the chupe de camaron. My friend told me that I had to go to this place if I was ever in Miami and I did. The place itself isn't too big of place and parking isn't an issue for the plaza. I came alone and was able to be seated right away by the hostess, who was very attentive. I ordered the braised short rib sandwich and the softshell crab BLT sandwich. Once it came out, my mouth was watering just from the sight of it. I'll start with the braised short rib. The meat just melts in your mouth and had just the right amount of sweetness. I had the boneless bbq chicken wing sandwich and my mom ordered the Jalea sandwich. We were both very happy with the flavors, the large portions and the delicious homemade buns. We ordered a side of sweet potato fries too, very good and a very generous serving. Not only was the food outstanding, the service was as well. It's a family fun business and everyone in the family was a part of the meal in some way. On top of the great service, you can tell this a genuinely nice family. I've been to this place four times now and have tried different things from their menu. I like how they have a unique menu with some Peruvian food. It's mostly sandwiches, but you'll also find empanadas, soups and my favorite - desserts! I really enjoyed the different dishes I got to try, from an aji de Gallina empanada to short rib with horse radish and chimichurri sandwich. Now the sandwiches are huge! So if you do decide to get a side, you may not finish it all. I do recommend leaving room for dessert as their dessert is quite delicious. They are all in mason jars, which is great for taking home. I've tried at least two sets of Lucuma desserts, one was Lucuma Oreo and the other one I believe was a tres leches Lucuma. Lucuma is my absolute favorite, I love it in ice cream, mousse, cake etc.... For those who do not know, Lucuma is a fruit and you'll find this in Peru. read more

5 stars isn't enough for this hidden gem! I just had the most incredible dining experience. The food was LOVE AT FIRST BITE! El Chupe transported me back to my grandma's kitchen - it was that good! Amazing, we loved loved this place. The food is incredible. We ordered the best soup i don't recall the name lol but it was amazing. All I remember is a Peruvian soup it's just amazing. Ask for it .
