My friend and I stopped here while on vacation in Miami. He had never been to First Watch before, so I felt it was my responsibility to introduce him properly. When we arrived, the place was packed. We added our names to the waitlist and ended up waiting a little over 30 minutes. Thankfully, the process was easy and they texted us when our table was ready. There was also plenty of parking available in the large shopping center lot. Once seated, we were taken to a table in the back near the windows, which was a nice touch. The restaurant felt very spacious. I never felt crowded or like I was sitting on top of other guests. The dining room was bright, clean, and had the welcoming atmosphere that First Watch is known for. The service was excellent from start to finish. Unfortunately, I did not catch anyone's name, but every employee we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. For breakfast, I ordered The Traditional with scrambled eggs and cheese, smoked ham, whole grain artisan toast, and I substituted the seasoned potatoes for cheesy grits. I also ordered an orange juice. Everything was good. The eggs were cooked well, the grits were creamy, and the orange juice was fresh and refreshing. My only small complaint is that I could have used another piece of smoked ham or a slightly larger portion. My friend ordered the Tri Fecta with an extra egg and bacon, along with the Morning Meditation juice, which combines orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet. He enjoyed everything and had no complaints. Overall, that pretty much sums up the meal. Nothing was bad and everything was prepared well. At the same time, neither of us walked away completely blown away. It was simply a solid breakfast experience with good food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. My experience was disappointing due to the way I was treated by Rolando. His attitude came across as dismissive and unhelpful, making it difficult to get clear answers. The lack of professionalism left a negative impression. Was so hesitant to help with anything wanting me to order a traditional and not want to just up charge for the meal I am getting. I come here almost every day & if not every time my order is wrong or missing something. Ridiculous. I would like to recognize Phil, however, for always providing outstanding service. He is courteous, attentive, and handles situations professionally. Employees like Phil make a positive difference in the customer experience. Even has offered compensation for their mistakes. Atmosphere is good, but the dish I ordered was recommended by sever,They messed up the dish twice they brought my wife food 1st same time they told me my dish had to be done again, waited and they bring me what's on the picture dirty plate no love in it, is taste so much citrus it was not edible. I had a very disappointing experience with First Watch Service. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the entire interaction. Whenever I asked questions, I was met with inconsistent answers, and nothing seemed to add up. Communication was poor, and I was left feeling confused rather than helped. Customer service should be respectful and transparent, but unfortunately that was not my experience. The food was delicious but I must say that after we were seated no one came to even offer us water for over 25 mins. At that point we decided to grab the attention of a staff member and let them know that no one had taken our order yet. The staff member was great and he personally took over our table. First Watch was great We started with the Mint Mocha Iced Coffee, which honestly was a great way start it off . The Morning Meditation juice I had a small taste but my wife enjoyed it . Then came that Million Dollar Bacon--It's sweet, smoky it's kinda addicting with its flavor . But I was really excited about The Floridian French Toast , fruity, and just the right amount of indulgent. We enjoyed it with the syrup . Then we had our Sandwiches , the Roast Beef & Havarti with grits was comfort food done right, My wife had the BLTE sandwich she really enjoyed it but she liked mine a lot more lol surprising right ? Brand new large location just off the highway and directly across from the zoo. Service was a bit slow but food was excellent and the setup of the location was great. We will be back again and pleased they have fresh coffee and water outside while you wait. read more

Such a nice breakfast spot. I went in the morning with my sister & mom and since we did not join the waitlist online we waited about twenty minutes to be seated, which was not too bad. Our waiter Miguel was amazing, really welcoming and super quick with everything. This new first watch is in a great location. The place is cute and has the typical First Watch design. Our server was very nice. However, the food was mediocre. My pancakes were over cooked and my plate came out cold. Eggs were cold and just not appetizing. I never return a dish but they have to make sure food comes out hot. Also over cooked pancakes are hard and can taste burnt on the bottom. Lastly, they didn't have the Fall Menu which I was really looking forward to. Maybe next time it will be better. read more

We attended the special VIP/Friends and Family Event today at their soft opening. If I could leave a 10-Star Rating I would! We were nicely greeted by several people, to include the Manager. We were seated quickly and we loved everything! Shout out to our wonderful Server, Isabella! Always had a smile on her face! I ordered Eggs Benedict with BLT and my husband ordered a Roast Beef sandwich--Delicious! We also ordered a healthy juice, a fresh orange juice and coffee! Ambiance was buzzing and happening. We attended First Watch's friends and family event today. There were multiple hosts at the front to greet and promptly seat guests. Our baby was in his stroller and we were accommodated at a table in the back with more space, which was considerate! My husband ordered the Morning Meditation juice and it was so refreshing. I ordered a vanilla iced coffee and it was the right amount of sweetness. For entrees, he had the Bacado and I had the Farmhouse Hash. His omelette was loaded! My hash was so flavorful - I really enjoyed the cooked tomatoes in it. We live right down the street from this First Watch location and will definitely be regulars. First time in a First Watch restaurant. The staff was great, the restaurant was clean and well organized. The amount you pay is average for other restaurants. Now, the bad. If you are looking for a nuance type of restaurant for breakfast or brunch. A place that serves healthy meals and you are there to eat and converse, this is the place for you. However if you are looking for a place that the food isn't bland or has a wow factor, this isn't the place. My wife's order and mine were ok, we were expecting it to taste better than it did. I had to go ask the host for someone to bring us water. Yesterday, January 31st, we took my granddaughter to the Deerwood location for brunch to celebrate her 15th birthday. We waited for 45 mins to be seated even though there was an empty table for 4 visible the entire time. Once seated the waitress came, poured less than a 1/2 cup of cold coffee into our cups, then proceeded to take our oder. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes with strawberries and turkey sausage links. The links were so hard and dry, I could not eat them. The pancakes were dry and the one on the bottom was almost burnt. My daughter stated that she is willing to try another location, I'm reluctant. I have gone to many of their restaurants in Florida and other states when I am looking for a great breakfast or lunch with consistent quality and service regardless of the location. The food was very sloppily thrown together and it is not the kind of experience I would like when I eat at restaurants. I understand morning rushes but if you wouldn't want to eat it don't serve it..... another thing I would like to add is that one bad experience at a chain restaurant can drive customers away from that restaurant entirely. read more
