My friend and I stopped here while on vacation in Miami. He had never been to First Watch before, so I felt it was my responsibility to introduce him properly. When we arrived, the place was packed. We added our names to the waitlist and ended up waiting a little over 30 minutes. Thankfully, the process was easy and they texted us when our table was ready. There was also plenty of parking available in the large shopping center lot. Once seated, we were taken to a table in the back near the windows, which was a nice touch. The restaurant felt very spacious. I never felt crowded or like I was sitting on top of other guests. The dining room was bright, clean, and had the welcoming atmosphere that First Watch is known for. The service was excellent from start to finish. Unfortunately, I did not catch anyone's name, but every employee we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. For breakfast, I ordered The Traditional with scrambled eggs and cheese, smoked ham, whole grain artisan toast, and I substituted the seasoned potatoes for cheesy grits. I also ordered an orange juice. Everything was good. The eggs were cooked well, the grits were creamy, and the orange juice was fresh and refreshing. My only small complaint is that I could have used another piece of smoked ham or a slightly larger portion. My friend ordered the Tri Fecta with an extra egg and bacon, along with the Morning Meditation juice, which combines orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet. He enjoyed everything and had no complaints. Overall, that pretty much sums up the meal. Nothing was bad and everything was prepared well. At the same time, neither of us walked away completely blown away. It was simply a solid breakfast experience with good food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. I love first watch and was excited to try this new location. The ambience was super cute! I love the decor and the style of the restaurant. We had a little booth for two that was perfect. Our server was friendly and nice. Although the waiting area was crowded and it was a little confusing where to check in we were seated quickly. My only regret was the food. I always order the same thing at first watch- the farm stand tacos with a side of breakfast potatoes. And today I realized that they changed both! The tortillas for the tacos are not the same, they are now flimsy corn tortillas that fell apart when you took one bite. And the potatoes no longer have the seasoning and onions they used to have. I like my eggs over medium and not many places get it right but they were perfect . The coffee was plentiful and good. The server Rebecca was attentive, friendly and efficient. We shared our allergies and she got the answer for us right away. Got the biscuits and gravy and hubby got the chile chorizo omelette. His was 10/10 but mine was not. I should've gotten the potatoes but I love cheese grits and couldn't resist ordering them. They were closer to spackle than to grits. The more we visit the worse it gets. The first time was shortly after they opened and things were great. Then we visited twice more and each time it got worse. Food was late, cold, and service was completely lacking. Even after speaking to the manager this time, the order wasn't perfect, and he didn't even come by to apologize and ensure everything was good. At that point we decided to grab the attention of a staff member and let them know that no one had taken our order yet. The staff member was great and he personally took over our table. My experience was disappointing due to the way I was treated by Rolando. His attitude came across as dismissive and unhelpful, making it difficult to get clear answers. The lack of professionalism left a negative impression. Was so hesitant to help with anything wanting me to order a traditional and not want to just up charge for the meal I am getting. I come here almost every day & if not every time my order is wrong or missing something. Ridiculous. I would like to recognize Phil, however, for always providing outstanding service. We ordered alcoholic drinks and according to our server the manager wanted to see our ID's after we showed them once and there reasoning was because my wife was potentially breastfeeding and they have the right to deny her!! That made my wife feel judged and discriminated because that is none of their business. My sister in law then called to get there names the server was Amanda and the manager was Ronaldo. They told her that it was because they thought the ID's were fake!!! So why bring up the breastfeeding? They brought the drinks and my wife said yes I am currently breastfeeding and then the server says that's okay that's none of my business?!?! I am disappointed with the service and will never be eating at this location ever again. They'll be hearing from my lawyer. We were told that our server was tied up with a party of 11 and that was why the delay. Other patrons came in after us and were attended to - this was a poor excuse. We then asked another server if she could attend to us regarding our breakfast order and she was very amiable and did so. If a server is tied up with a large party - it's upon the manager of the establishment to make sure the patrons are being attended to in an appropriate time. Coffee was warm not hot. This new first watch is in a great location. The place is cute and has the typical First Watch design. Our server was very nice. However, the food was mediocre. My pancakes were over cooked and my plate came out cold. Eggs were cold and just not appetizing. I never return a dish but they have to make sure food comes out hot. Also over cooked pancakes are hard and can taste burnt on the bottom. Lastly, they didn't have the Fall Menu which I was really looking forward to. Maybe next time it will be better. read more

We attended the special VIP/Friends and Family Event today at their soft opening. If I could leave a 10-Star Rating I would! We were nicely greeted by several people, to include the Manager. We were seated quickly and we loved everything! Shout out to our wonderful Server, Isabella! Always had a smile on her face! We attended First Watch's friends and family event today. There were multiple hosts at the front to greet and promptly seat guests. Our baby was in his stroller and we were accommodated at a table in the back with more space, which was considerate! My husband ordered the Morning Meditation juice and it was so refreshing. I ordered a vanilla iced coffee and it was the right amount of sweetness. For entrees, he had the Bacado and I had the Farmhouse Hash. His omelette was loaded! My hash was so flavorful - I really enjoyed the cooked tomatoes in it. We live right down the street from this First Watch location and will definitely be regulars. Ordered the trifecta and you can choose your flavor of pancakes and protein so I went with the carrot pecan pancakes and smoked ham while coming with a side of eggs. the entire plate was delicious with taste buds exploding!! The coffee had a nutty taste and I asked my waiter Isa about it and she proceeded to explain to me that it was from Colombia which has 2 harvest per year exported by project sunrise.
