Angel was an amazing server. He made sure we were taken care of. The food was great it always is.

We came in at a relatively busy time, but it wasn't crazy. We were able to sit at a table within 10 minutes of us arriving. The only downside is the waitress only checked on us maybe twice, including times that she asked us for our orders and water/drinks. We had to wait to get boxes and a bag from a completely different waitress. They initially brought us four rolls of bread when we had six people at our table. So of course we had to immediately ask for another container of bread to satisfy at least one per person. The food was fair but nothing to write home about.

Had a fundraiser for my son's school here where 10% of the bill goes towards the school. Our server was Angel, and he was phenomenal. He kept our drinks fresh, checked on us periodically and was a literal angel. It was busy for a Tuesday night, which means it was fairly loud. We were sat fairly quickly. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the Caesar salad perfectly made and the margaritas yummy. This was my first time here and I was very impressed and can't wait to dine here again! Mil gracias Angel!!

We came here for lunch today. There was no wait time to be seated, which is great. The food and service was pretty quick, so I can't complain. I ordered a sirloin with baked potato and a house salad and to drink a classic margarita. The house salad was so tasty and fresh. It had hard boiled egg, tomatoes and cheese; I chose ranch for the dressing. The sirloin and baked potatoe were good. The only reason why I wasn't too satisfied was because i asked for my sirloin medium and i got medium rare. My mom got a half rack of ribs with Cesar salad and buttered corn. The ribs were so tender, the meat slid off the bones and the taste itself was delicious. The margaritas were good, not watered down. My partner got the frozen sangria margarita and that was my favorite and it came in clutch with this heat. Our server, Lily was great, she was very attentive to us and made sure we weren't missing anything. The restaurant is nice and they always have good music playing. Also the servers do this cute dance when a specific dance comes on! All in all I would recommend checking out this place.

I love Texas Roadhouse. To me it's comfort food. Upon entering we immediately got put to a table. No wait time! Also got peanuts when we got to our seats! Our server, Lily, was great. She took our drink orders swiftly upon sitting. They came to the table lightning fast and so did the food! I can't complain about the experience and I can say that I'm impressed with the time it took to receive all our orders. Portion sizes are always one of the reasons I come here as you get a pretty good bang for your buck. Typical country music is in the background as usual and the atmosphere is always a nice vibe. One of the better Texas Roadhouse I've been to in a while! If you like Margaritas, I recommend the Sangria Margarita if you've never tried it before!

Food was okay. I ordered a 8oz sirloin with mushrooms. The service was great and fast. The view from where I was seated I was able to watch live sports. It's a good go-to for locals.

I love the food here my favorite is the fried chicken with that brown gravy ! The service is great and love how they always dance and keep the ambiance alive. Country vibes all the way. The steak was also amazing and don't even get me started with that soft bread with cinnamon butter. Love this Kendall location

Food came out quickly and was very flavorful. Hostess was very kind and our waiter Okensy was always checking on us. He is also the bartender. Had a couple others come to our table Jenny and another woman to check on us very sweet. My favorite location! Love the little dance they do too!

The food was tasty and worth its value! The waiter provide excellent Service, she was fast and attentive. The ambiance remind me of a Texan-Western style. The place is always packed. However, they are quick to get people in and served

Rattlesnake Bites.

First time visiting this location which isn't far from home, but sadly was not impressed, nor did we enjoy our food. I was looking forward to the rattlesnake bites but they were super greasy and not cooked long enough (they were soft/guey and not crispy at all). For our entree we chose the churrasco but this meat was nothing like a real churrasco. It didn't help that it was overcooked. The rice had a strong taste and it just felt heavy as we ate it. What saved this visit was the kids' meal. We went with the Ranger Andy Steak. They were cooked as ordered and the kids enjoyed it. We all enjoy the line dancing they randomly do, I believe it's every hour, as it helps to have entertainment. The service was pretty decent. Plenty of parking available.

Rattlesnake Bites Hand-Cut Sirloin* Fried Catfish

Had a great time! Had Mel as our server and she went above and beyond. We forgot our bread as we were leaving and she chased us down to give it to us; such a sweetheart! Food was great, make a catfish sandwich with the rolls you wont regret it. The rattlesnake bites were perfectly spicy. Need to come back soon!

Steak anyone?

My favorite steakhouse love going there. Everything I come in. It's exciting. Love the bar area. All of decor and the giant TVs. My favorite part is the country music. I love it. Complete with the country music videos. Great menu, of course from ribs to steaks to chicken to barbecue chicken to potatoes skins, which are really good. And great salads sides. This time. I had the ribeye steak with ribs combo. The ribeye was very good. Very delicious. Very soft and great flavor. the ribs. Of course they speak for themselves. They fall off the bone in the air. Delicious good barbecue sauce. My goodness. The bread they serve here. Is enough to drive Anybody insane. Try to control yourself to at least it two . Salads were Perfect crisp and fresh. My baked potato was loaded and it was huge. I would almost say it was a half pound my potato. My wife had the burger. It was really good. It taste like a grilled burger like when we used to have in camp. Great drinks at Good prices and love our bartender Maria. She was very attentive. This is what service should be like! Everyone in the restaurant is friendly. This is a gem hear in Kendall. Love it. Congratulations to the staff and management.

Smoke & Dough... I Went Looking for BBQ... and Found One of the Best Pastrami Sandwiches in South…read moreFlorida Back in my day, going out for BBQ wasn't something you did every weekend. It was a special occasion. If you grew up in Miami, you probably remember The New Hickory on Coral Way. Then there was Uncle Tom's on 8th Street. Great food... but let's be honest... everybody was just a little nervous eating there because it was right next to the cemetery. You'd be halfway through your ribs thinking... "¿Tú crees que ese ruido vino del parking... o del cementerio? Later on we graduated to Luther's on Bird Road and 117th Avenue, and of course, Shorty's, the undisputed king that's been feeding hungry Miamians for generations. These days it seems like a new BBQ place opens every other week in South Florida. I recently tried one of the newer spots in South Miami... except when we got there they were out of half the menu. Nothing kills your BBQ excitement faster than hearing, "Sorry... we're out of brisket." That's like walking into Versailles and hearing they're out of croquetas. So when our friends Ana and Henry invited Betty and me to Smoke & Dough in Kendall, I was ready to get my BBQ on. We walked into this unassuming strip mall, I grabbed the menu, ready to order ribs or brisket... ...and then I saw it. The Pastrami Sandwich. Now THAT got my attention. Finding a really good pastrami sandwich down here isn't easy. Roasters 'N Toasters has a very good one. Lox of Bagels (what many of us still call Lox of Lox) makes a solid one too. But this one... This one beat them both by a mile. The meat was warm, juicy, incredibly flavorful, the cheese perfectly melted, the Thousand Island dressing was just the right amount, and the bread held everything together without falling apart after the second bite... a miracle in itself. And it wasn't one of those fancy little sandwiches you need a magnifying glass to find on the plate. This thing was substantial. I shared it with my wife... ...and I was full. ¡Y yo soy tremendo comelón! Our friends ordered the brisket empanadas, a quiche, and brisket sandwiches that looked absolutely outstanding. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked like somebody back there really cared about what they were serving. The atmosphere surprised me. Instead of feeling like an old-school BBQ joint with picnic tables and sauce bottles everywhere, it feels more like a cozy neighborhood bistro that just happens to know its way around a smoker. Comfortable, relaxed, and the kind of place where nobody is rushing you out the door because another party is waiting. They also have what looked like an excellent selection of wines and craft beers, which gives the place a slightly elevated feel without being pretentious. Now... everybody has been telling me about their famous **Smoked Flan Apparently it's slowly cooked on the barbecue pit for about five hours, giving the creamy custard and caramel a subtle smoky flavor. Believe me... I wanted to try it. But after that pastrami... Game over. There wasn't enough room left. The owners came over, introduced themselves, shared a little of the history behind Smoke & Dough, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Those little moments still matter. You leave feeling like they appreciate your business instead of treating you like the next number in line. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Good food. Great company. Friendly owners. A relaxed atmosphere where you actually want to stay awhile. After our last dining experience at another restaurant where we practically felt like they were timing us with a stopwatch, this was a refreshing change. Will I be back? Absolutely. Not just for the BBQ... I'm coming back to see if that smoked flan lives up to the hype. And maybe... Just maybe... I'll order ,another pastrami sandwich.

Went to Smoke and Dough with my brother on my birthday, what a find. We had a platter of pulled…read morepork, brisket and pork belly, along with an outstanding unique corn bread. While the meats were awesome that corn bread needs star billing. Neat place where you order at the counter but very attentive servers bring the food to your table. The baked goods including a wide selection of empanadas makes this an ideal breakfast option also. A hidden gem in West Kendall allows folks not to take a long trek to Wynwood or Brickell to eat quality bbq in a wonderful ambiance.

One of My Two Favorite BBQ Spots in Miami!…read more Excellent BBQ, no question about it. I have two go-to BBQ spots in Miami, and Hate Mondays is one of them. Everything I've ordered here has been on point. The brisket is tender and juicy, the ribs are fall-off-the-bone delicious, and all the fixings hit the mark. The beef short rib looks absolutely incredible, and it's next on my list. In fact, writing this review is making me hungry, so my next visit might be sooner than expected! The portions are seriously generous, so come hungry. They also have a great beer selection, featuring local breweries alongside familiar favorites. Add in the laid-back atmosphere and old-school hip-hop playing in the background, and you've got the perfect setting for some seriously good BBQ. The spot itself is tucked into a small warehouse space, giving it that unpretentious, neighborhood BBQ joint feel. It's cozy, but somehow they always manage to get you seated quickly. Karl, aka the El Bearded Chef, is almost always on-site and makes a point of ensuring you're taken care of. That personal touch makes the experience even better. The only thing to hate about Hate Mondays is Monday itself because they're closed. Great food, generous portions, good beer, and a vibe that keeps you coming back. Can't wait for my next visit!

It's Friday happy hour, and we were in Kendall looking for somewhere new to try. While searching on…read moremy phone, I found Hate Monday's Tavern and was intrigued by the unique name. The location made us curious since the area is mostly commercial warehouses and apartments, not the typical setting for a bar and restaurant. When we arrived, we found the tavern in a small warehouse complex, with a full parking lot and BBQ smokers outside filling the air with an incredible cooking aroma. We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff and directed to a bench while we waited. Seating is limited, but we were seated within about 20 minutes, and it was worth it. The place was full of locals who clearly knew each other and welcomed us as first-timers, sharing their favorite menu items. The atmosphere felt authentic and inviting. The restaurant was clean, and our waitress was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and a big part of our experience. We started with ice-cold local beers and chicharrones with spicy sauce, which were delicious. We then shared the chicken wings and brisket with coleslaw, along with a side of tostones. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Hate Monday's Tavern is a true hidden gem, and we're glad we decided to try it. If you live in Kendall or anywhere in Miami, I highly recommend stopping by. Just remember: don't go on Monday, they're closed! The owner really does hate Mondays! Five stars from us. We'll definitely be back!
