This place is never a miss! Jenny and Eddy have become like family. Their food is like if a family members cooked it. You can tell it was cooked with love. The amazing service Jenny provides makes you feel right at home ! And it's in a perfect location for family and kids.

This spot is a hidden gem! The service was great, the food was even better! The prices were reasonable. Loved it! Will be back for sure

This food truck is like a dream come true for the foodies in S. Florida. The owner used to be a cook at a local restaurant we have frequented for a long time. He ventured out and opened this food truck. What an amazing cook! The food here is awesome. The service is amazing and the location is good, with great lighting and ample partaking. The menu is awesome and the prices are almost too good. We make a 25-minute drive to eat here once (and sometimes twice) a week. If you like good sized portions of freshly cooked food, this truck is where it's at. And they are open late! Which is a huge plus. You won't be disappointed! They are on the gram @thekingbbqandgrill

“The churrasco and pork platter were excellent, seafood rice was good too, but the fresh chicharrones were the standout.”

Even the salads! I had this one with basil sauce and it was so good! I came with a group of 16 I believe? Large party. We made reservations the day before. They were very accommodating of our party! We had a constant rotation of people coming by to drop off new foods, and if there was ever one we wanted to see, all we had to do was ask and they would bring specific cuts. We had some kids with us and they'd even cook the meats to well for them! Just a lovely group all around. The dim lighting of the place is a subtle way to really make you focus inward on the table. I honestly didn't get that good of a look at my surroundings since we were all so busy stuffing our faces. For a party with plenty of big eaters, this place can actually be quite affordable as well! Definitely bring your appetite. We went to a Sea World park and didn't eat the whole time, so we were all ready to get stuffed.

The food came out in tiny portions, and instead of bringing everything together, they would bring one small dish and then make us wait another 20 minutes for the next item. The entire meal felt disorganized, and we spent most of the time just waiting. What made it worse was that the quality and experience did not match the price at all. Despite the terrible service, we still decided to leave a $20 tip because we understand servers work hard. However, after leaving, I noticed my card was charged $67, which was shocking and very frustrating. This is not how customers should be treated. Slow service, poor communication, disappointing portions, and unclear charges made the entire experience feel like a waste of money. I hope management looks into this because customers deserve better service and transparency.

It's so good!! the drink drinks were fresh and delicious and they even remade them when we didn't like them. I had the conch fritters and an arugula salad. The salad was fresh and delicious--a 10/10. The conch fritters were about a 5/10 for me. My husband had the oxtail with white rice, beans, and what I believe were plantains. He practically cleaned his plate and said he really enjoyed it, so that was a 10/10 from him. We also had spirit-free drinks, which were also good. Our server, Chris, was pleasant and accommodating without being overbearing, which we appreciated. The establishment was clean, and the ambiance was cool. Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by the energy we encountered from a couple of staff members. The host who greeted and seated us came across as particularly cold. She also made a comment to someone that my husband could not hear, but the tone and energy of the interaction made us uncomfortable. Shortly afterward, another server approached us asking if we had been helped. When I explained that we had just arrived, his expression and demeanor also struck me as somewhat dismissive. Thankfully, Chris came over shortly after, and the energy immediately shifted. I can't speak to anyone's personal beliefs or intentions, and I don't want to assume what was behind these interactions. However, as a Black woman and an educator, I am very aware of how race, perception, and social identity can influence interactions between strangers. Unfortunately, I left feeling as though we were being viewed or treated differently, and that made it difficult to enjoy the experience fully. It was clear they were the Votaré por Donald Trump, type. To speak plain, self hating LatinX people who hold prejudice over other people of color. Plain ignorant and miserable haciendo sus trabajos modestos! It's also worth noting that the host's political expression was very apparent, which I found particularly interesting given that she was the first person guests encounter. Whatever someone's political beliefs may be, I believe that anyone working in a customer-facing role should make every guest feel welcomed and respected. Overall, the food was good, Chris was wonderful, and the space itself was nice. But hospitality is about more than food and decor; it is also about how people feel when they walk through the door. I hope the owners take that part of the guest experience seriously, because no restaurant benefits when customers leave feeling unwelcome.
