You can't go wrong with First Watch for a nice quick breakfast. They don't have any specialty coffee which is always a miss but the food and service is good.

Food is DELICIOUS! Service is a little slow as they are busy and wait times for a table are sometimes long. Restaurant is clean and ambiance is nice

Delicious food. Excellent service. We love it. Is in the list of my favorites. Good portion.

Visited First Watch for Sunday brunch and used my birthday coupon - such a nice perk! Arrived around 9:15 am and there was already a 20-minute wait for inside seating, so we opted to sit outside. A note of caution: while the fresh air is nice, the outdoor seating area has quite a few birds around and unfortunately some of the chairs had bird droppings, so inside is definitely the better option if you can wait. We ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict and really enjoyed it - perfectly poached eggs, fresh tomato, and greens. For drinks, we tried the Blazing Dragon juice and the Kale Tonic. The Blazing Dragon leaned on the sweeter side, while the Kale Tonic was more on the bitter side - definitely more of an acquired taste. Service was attentive and friendly by Jessica especially considering how busy it was at peak breakfast time. Food arrived fresh, and the staff kept things moving smoothly despite the weekend crowd. Prices are on the higher side. Overall, a solid breakfast/brunch spot with creative menu options and unique juices. Great for families or groups, just be prepared for a wait on weekends and aim for inside seating. The birthday coupon was a fun extra touch and made the visit even better.

As a diner it is very nice and a step up from some of the older ones in the area which haven't been updated in decades. Typical diner style food. The seasonal specials feature nice dishes. The million dollar bacon was great. The iced latte was overly sweet--pure sugar. Service is good but it gets way too packed and way too loud. There aren't a lot of good brunch spots in west Kendall so everyone flocks here. The downside is that there are no gluten free options other than eggs and bacon. It's disappointing.

First Watch never disappoints. This is my first time coming to the kendall location . I must say it's pretty big inside. It has indoor and outdoor seating which is great . We arrived on a busy Saturday morning around 10:30 am . Which I would say is peak time . We waited around 10- 15 minutes until our table was ready. My only issue was , once you receive a text message that you table is ready you have 2 minutes to check in with the hostess. If not you lose your spot. I feel like that time should be possibly 5 minutes. Once we sat down we were attended too right away . Our food came out quickly and it was hot which i appreciated . I got the trifecta which came with a pancake , sausage and eggs. My friends got the French toast and the blueberry lemon cornbread which was all good. I also ordered the purple haze juice which was delicious. I will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu . Until next time .

This was our first time at First Watch and we really enjoyed it! We shared the Blueberry Cornbread and it was so delicious, we really loved it! I tried their breakfast tacos which came with chicken, chorizo, eggs, and salsa; it was a generous portion and very tasty! We also tried their seasonal dishes: Elote Burrito which was very good and they loved the corn salsa, and the Strawberry Tres Leches french toast, which was also very delicious and sweet! We will definitely return to try more items from their menu! The service was very helpful and the food came out pretty quickly for how busy it was!

The food here was great and very filling. The dishes are huge enough to share with another person. The steak and eggs were tasty but it had a bit too much of feta cheese for my liking. It threw off the taste a bit. The strawberry shortcake French toast was delicious!! Not too sweet and not to tarty just right. Our server was great he was very attentive. The restaurant has plenty of seating. The only thing I don't like is that we can't order drinks until 1 pm on Sundays

The food here is killer and so fresh. I always enjoy my visits here for time to time. **Just an FYI for all the brunchies out there, this specific location DOES NOT sell any alcoholic beverages before 1PM on SUNDAYS** Keep that in mind if you're looking to try any of their cocktails or seasonal sangrias. Our server was attentive and very thoughtful and the restaurant isn't too noisy being how busy it is. I love this place and for the price, the amount of food you get is pretty hefty. I always have to take some home. Did I mention I love this place?

Stopped by Friday around noon. The hostess wasn't welcoming but we were seated quickly. We ordered the summer corn bread with blueberries and lemon butter and two breakfast plates. The corn bread had good flavor but it was very dry. I asked for soft scrambled eggs, they came out really well done. The breakfast potatoes weren't cooked all the way through. The breakfast plates come with one piece of toast, not two. The best part of the meal were the blueberry pancakes. Sooo good! The syrup was also warm which was a nice touch. They also leave a coffee carafe at your table so you can refill yourself as needed. That's a plus. The hostess that sat us also rang us up when we went to pay. She was super unfriendly and probably shouldn't be in that role. She seemed bothered and annoyed. This was my 2nd visit to First Watch although two different locations. I'm not really sure why they're so popular but maybe I'm just not ordering the right things. I may give it one more try at some point but not anytime soon. Not bad, but not great.

Took me a while to visit this location, first one close to me!!! Went with a group of 7, we were seated promptly, all the orders were correct and nicely cooked. Nice, chill ambience and the food was all fresh and tasty. My favorites this visit were the club sandwich and the farmhouse skillet. I like any of their skillets honestly, and their avocado toast. I also enjoy their donuts with Nutella, pancakes and Belgian waffles. Anyways, I'll definitely be back for more. Yum.

First Watch is my kinda breakfast joint! Perfectly cooked, delicious, bacon! Omg, these are to die for! And the pancakes were huge and fluffy. I didn't even get to finish them, cause they were that massive. The coffee was excellent w a hot pot left on your table. The place on a Saturday afternoon was packed w people enjoying their meal. Recommend you add your name to the waitlist while driving over cause it's not a long wait by the time you get there. I liked it a lot and cannot wait to return. A+

Good food and great options to choose from! Everything we ate here was delicious. The service was good and even though it was packed, we still got our food within a good amount of time. The ambiance is very nice, family-friendly, and it's a great place for brunch. We got there around 10:30 am and still had to wait an hour to be seated. Try and get there early.

On our first visit, we ordered the breakfast sandwich, the Banana Walnut Pancake, and two iced lattes (one with 2% milk and one with oat milk). Everything was outstanding. The breakfast sandwich was packed with flavor, the latte was perfectly balanced, and the Banana Walnut Pancake was on another level. The combination of caramelized banana, toasted walnuts, and their smoked maple syrup was absolutely RIDICULOUS. We loved it so much that we came back just two days later. This time, we shared the breakfast sandwich because we needed to save room for more pancakes. We ordered the Lemon Curd & Blueberry Pancake and the Brunch Still Hungover Pancake (their espresso-inspired pancake), and somehow they were even better than we expected. The Lemon Curd & Blueberry was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced, while the Brunch Still Hungover was one of the most unique pancakes I've ever had rich coffee flavor without being overly sweet. That's the magic there for me, you might look at these pancakes and assume it's "too much" or might be overwhelming but the flavors are so perfectly balanced, it's a darn masterpiece. What really made the experience special, though, was the owner. He took the time to chat with us, explain the inspiration behind some of the menu items. You can tell this isn't just a restaurant to him, it's something he's genuinely passionate about. That passion comes through in every plate that leaves the kitchen. The staff was warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. In a city where brunch spots come and go, Jealous Fork feels like the kind of place that earns regulars. At this point, our goal is simple: keep coming back until we've tried the entire menu. As I'm writing this in deciding to go back to try the burgers..BRB

The metal seats aren't pretty or comfortable. Bathrooms are ok, not stocked with paper towels or seat covers, tho. No biggie. Music is monotonous and slightly annoying. Just feels so lackluster here, like a "why even try" attitude? To illustrate this, they have all these cool clocks reading what time it is in Paris, Lima, Caracas, etc and NONE of the clocks are working. Seems on brand here. Staff was adequate, but inattentive. People have described it as the best Ramen in the area and I will not argue that point. I will, however, say that the portion was on a small side and I was still hungry afterwards. The cappuccino was a latte, can't even get a coffee taste. The iced latte was good because I asked for an extra shot. It seemed like the girls working there today did not care at all. My husband said his cortadito was weak, too much milk. I will come back for croissants, not for coffee.

When I first walked into this French inspired bakery cafe, my party of 8 was greeted and seated…read morepromptly. We also were given menus and water swiftly. It took a bit for our waiter to stroll back around to take our order, and for a Sunday morning brunch, I wouldn't have considered this place a "packed" house. When the time came around, I was first to place my order, I wanted something different so I ordered Shakshuka. Of course; I did my quick research of the dish before getting to the restaurant! Shakshuka is suppose to be a one-skillet egg dish, the eggs are basted in this rich, thick red pepper, tomato, onions, and garlic sauce, topped with satueed peppers. I also ordered a French toast and chai latte! Fast forward to when everyone dishes were dropped off, even though I was first to order my dish did not arrive. I waited around for 10-15 minutes, my whole family was pretty much done with their meals. I had to call over our waitress to advise my order was never dropped at the table. After letting her know, my dish was expedited to the table in less than 5 minutes. Could they have been a rush to send out the dish? Possibly. Because that was the worst dish ever and nothing like described. The peppers were not sautéed (or little to nothing) and were just sliced, plated for decor. The tomato/red pepper based sauce seemed like it was just canned tomato sauce, very liquid-y. Simply was not fond of this dish. The french toast were more like hard french toast sticks, I would've liked it to be on the fluffier end, but they were hard/toasted. Nothing that blew my mind. As far as my chai latte, it was divine! The perfect warm hug. The chai to steamed milk ratio was on point, and topped cinnamon. My mom ordered their $42 Entrecöte Frites; man, did that sound delicious. As a true steak connoisseur, she loves a bleeding rare steak! So that was the temperature she ordered, rare. I was excited to snag a bite or two from her plate to be the judge it for myself. The plate dropped the first time, she cut right in the middle of it to see the finishing temperature... it was wrong. Sent it right back. The second time it hit the table, the temperature was correct. A bright red center and a seared exterior, just what she was looking for. However, it was so salty, you just could not get past all the salt, nothing to enjoy. Not edible, unless you wanted clogged arteries right then and there! My wife ordered a caprese sandwich. Yes, I also took a bite of that while waiting my for my order(lol). The baguette bread was airy, delicious, and soft. The mozzarella was fresh and the tomatoes were nice and ripe. I also tried their croissants, almond and chocolate croissant, pistachio croissant, and Nutella croissant. They were buttery, flaky, and all the fillings complimented it well. My conclusion to La Boulangerie is you have to be selective about what you order from here. Maybe they had an off day and we were the unlucky ones, but the more complicated meals turned out to taste the worst. However, you can definitely enjoy light bites here... you can't go wrong with a baguette sandwich, coffee, or a pastry. I think baking and light fare is where their true expertise lies.
