Burger with a view.

Loved the place, full of light and nice views. Very good service and spotless open kitchen. Rita makes you feel special. My husband had great eggs Benedict and my friend and I had the famous burgers. Love coming here.

Used to frequent Burger Bobs (my husband grew up close by) and missed it greatly when it closed. When I heard Rita was reopening, one of the original chefs I knew and loved from back in the day, I was so excited to come and try their burgers. She won an award at the South Beach food and wine festival in 2022 for best burger. Today, I had the pleasure of trying that burger and, yesterday after golf, I had the classic burger. It brought me back to the memories I had as a kid. It is beautiful and revamped, but it still the same vibe and the homey feel hasn't changed. Come one, come all and enjoy. I give five stars all day and dare you to find a better burger in town. Come early as it was packed this morning!

Birdie Bistro is perfectly aimed for its location. Simple food at reasonable prices is just what the neighborhood needs.

The empanadas were baked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, flavorful, and you can tell they're made fresh that same day. For my main entrée, I ordered the skirt steak, and WOW. Not only was it perfectly seasoned, but you can truly tell they know how to select quality cuts of meat. Our waiter was also incredible and took the time to walk us through the menu, explain the dishes, and make sure we knew exactly what to order. That personal touch really made the experience even better! Everything about this place gave me a little taste of home, and I absolutely loved it!

The food was fantastic as always, and the sangria was delicious and tasted genuinely authentic. A special shoutout to our waiter, Eduardo, who was wonderful. He and my dad instantly bonded over being Costa Rican, and it made the experience feel even more welcoming and personal. The only disappointment was dessert. The pavlova sounded much more exciting than it actually was. It was overwhelmingly sweet, and everything on the plate (the vanilla ice cream, vanilla pavlova, and vanilla whipped cream) had nearly the same flavor, color, and texture. It ended up feeling very one-note and lacked the contrast and freshness that makes a great pavlova memorable. Overall, I'll keep coming back again and again. The food is excellent, the service is warm, and it's just as perfect for watching a match as it is for a great meal. Skip the pavlova, but absolutely don't skip this place.

The breakfast sandwich was delicious, with perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and fresh ingredients that complemented each other perfectly. The crispy hash brown was a great addition, and the iced mocha was a fantastic way to complete the meal. The cafe itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere with a relaxed and comfortable setting. It's the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy a great breakfast, and start your morning off right. If you're in the Coral Gables area and looking for a quality breakfast or a good cup of coffee, Threefold Cafe is definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be returning!

The hostess was very sweet & offered us counter seating, but it was literally right next to the entrance where everyone was standing trying to get out of the hot sun. Definitely not the birthday brekkie vibe I was after. And the parking situation? Diabolical. If I ever go back, I'm taking a Lyft. Once we got back to the car, I started thinking of somewhere close, delicious & that we could hopefully get into before 10:30, when most Miamians start making their way into the streets & every breakfast spot gets overrun. THREEFOLD CAFE! Hadn't been in a while & it was my dad's first time. We drove the 5min distance, parked in the ample, inexpensive garage & walked over. It was busy, but luckily we were seated right away by the lovely Ali (hey fellow Leo queen!), who got us started with drinks. Then my fave waitress Monica came over with her usual charisma & warmth. We had such a great time sipping their very good red wine sangrias & eating a delicious breakfast, including the absolutely to-die-for Don't Be a Lemon Tart French Toast. All in all, the loveliest, most perfect place & way to spend my birthday morning with my dad. Absolutely need to come by more often. Fantastic, consistent spot!

Luckily it was a short wait, because the line could get very long. The inside is so cute and feels like a classic old school Miami diner. They have such fun speciality lattes & drinks, it was hard to choose but I opted for the guava latte which I really enjoyed. As an app, we got the buffalo chicken croquetas which was very unique but equally delicious. For our mains, my friend got the lechon breakfast sandwich which she liked. I got the pan con bistec which is definitely shareable. I did like it however I think the meat was just a touch dry. We also shared the cast iron pancake with a side of chocolate sauce. It was unreal and I'm still thinking about it. It is to no surprise that they have a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The food is high caliber and for a great price! The portions are also very generous. I can't wait to return and would definitely recommend & go hungry!!

People sensationalize this place for their shareable pancake and their burger, but I view it as a very good value option that can also serve as a crowd pleaser. They brand themselves as Cuban-American, which I appreciate because it is certainly not Cuban. They have a menu that caters to people who want deeply flavorful foods but also others, such as vegetarians. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed and sitting outside is quite enticing, depending on the weather. I've always found the service to be great as well. It is located in a beautiful, walkable area in Coconut Grove. The only downside being that parking can be difficult and expensive, but still worth it. I've had several dishes at Chug's, have enjoyed all of them but would only classify the cast iron pancake as being outstanding. I would recommend that anyone who goes here try it, as it is perfectly balanced sweetness and butter with a cornbread-like texture. The only issue may be that it is quite large for just a couple. The pan con bistec is flavorful and their fries are perfectly cooked. The side salad is worthwhile as well if you're into those, as a light alternative to fries. The cuban american sandwich was surprisingly interesting to me. At first I was disappointed because it is not on Cuban bread. However, I found it to be delicious because it is well built and the ingredients go well together. I would not say that the meats are necessarily high quality, but the flavor is there. Lastly, and unfortunately, I find the colada here to be repulsive. It does not taste like a colada. Tastes like minerals and metal and why do they serve it in a glass without a handle? I don't understand it. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a pleasant, value-oriented dining experience in Coconut Grove.
