The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Kitchen available for all to see with pizza oven. Melissa our waitress was great, would constantly check in on us and make sure everything was to our liking. The food itself was great, everything tasted fresh and homemade, and by the time you were done you didn't feel bloated and is if you went through a five course meal after one plate. Would definitely recommend for all to come and try. read more

This place is amazingly good. It has a vibe of NY meets London meets Miami meets Buenos Aries meets Montevideo meets Italy. Portions are great. They have everything from pizza to pasta to meat and they will even make you a side of meat if requested. It has a luxury ambiance combined with a welcoming market feel. I go often and highly recommend. read more

Really??? I can't believe how packed this place always is and how bad it is. Is it just me but wtf is wrong with restaurants and the quality of food???????? I am out with my husband for a day at the Grove and really really wanted this meal to be good. We've come by several times, seen the lines but never coincided until today. All I can wonder is how this place is even open? Sure, it's pretty. But that's about it . The bread? Hard. Appetizer was something with orange slices and beets - super blah. The milanesa? Undercooked. The French fries ? Undercooked- the wine ( Albariño) mediocre. We ate it because it's 3:00, we were starving and frankly, I'm so tired of complaining. So I come back to my question: how are they still open?????? read more

This restaurant is very busy and I want to say the highlight of our visit was the service. I wasn't impressed by the food but our server was great. We ordered the octopus from the appetizer menu and this was the wort selection of our dinner; it was not cooked properly as it was extremely chewy. The milanesas and the frutti di mare pasta were ok as well as the gelato we had for dessert. The ambiance as also quiet noisy as almost every single table was taken. They are located right next to the movie theater so it's very convenient on movie nights. read more

Great service but the main dish our rigatoni was not good. They served it with a small slice of parm on top. Never asked if we wanted more shaved on top. Taste was nothing special. Wine left a good amount of sediment in the glass. Dinner was over priced. On a good note the empanadas were very good and so was the gelato. Honestly do not plan on returning. read more

Came here to get some gelato, and it was amazing. The gelato shop is located all the way in the back of the restaurant, where they also sell the meats and cheeses. They had about 15-20 flavors to choose from and they all looked so fancy. Every serving comes with a triangle of ice cream cone. I thoroughly enjoyed my gelato, to the point that I forgot to take a picture before I ate it all haha. The women working behind the counter were nice and let us try samples and even gave us extra pieces of the cone because we had kids with us. They also have high top tables in the back area if you want to eat your ice cream inside. We chose to eat outside as it was a little loud/crowded inside with the regular restaurant. read more

Friendly staff with outstanding service and food! We are100% coming back it was that good! Prices are pretty good for the amount of food you receive and the quality it's all made in house from the pastes to the pizzas and more! They have a great selection of wines and champagnes from all price ranges. Made me feel like I was in little Italy hehe Ambiance felt romantic and the dimmed lights helped with that in the restaurant. Parking is easy to find because you can park in the main garage and it's right down stairs from the main Coconut Groove garage. Highly recommend to anyone! read more

We dined at Narbona in Coconut Grove with friends during a brief stay in Miami. Our experience at the restaurant was consistent with the online average score. On a Tuesday night, it wasn't that busy, yet service lagged due to service of a very large group nearby. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco for the table, which was self-service after the initial pour. Entrees included the chicken parm, crab ravioli, and a couple of picanha gauchas. The pastas were generally slightly undercooked, a bit too al dente. The steaks were served as ordered, but not very tender. The steak knives did not help, a bit dull, made cutting the steaks a challenge. A couple of trufata narbonas for dessert ended the evening... balls of pistachios gelato, covered with crushed pistachios and covered with dulce de leche... a great finish! Narbona could improve, but still a good meal. Nice gelato and specialty food shop in the back! Recommend. read more

Really good Italian market and restaurant in the heart of Coconut Grove. We got sat here promptly on a Saturday night despite the place being packed. The vibe is lively and fun. You can dress up or go low key. I had the Entraña Steak with a side salad - delicious. My son's pizza was good too. Would go again! read more

YE Gurl Says: Café Culture (and a Close Call with a Poodle) at Narbona Place: Narbona Coconut Grove Neighborhood: Coconut Grove A quick Miami visit turned into a standout stop in Coconut Grove -- and I'm calling it now: this might be my new favorite pocket of the city. Between shops like Free People and Planta, plus a lawn hosting a free yoga class when I arrived, the energy here just felt right. Relaxed, curated, and quietly upscale. My meeting spot? Narbona. The space leans Paris café in the best way -- classic bistro tables, easy seating, and that "sit a while" atmosphere that makes a coffee meeting feel like more than just a meeting. Order was simple: * Oat milk latte * Napoleon pastry My friend went with: * Café au lait * Egg pastry Everything was solid -- fresh, well-executed, and exactly what you want in a mid-day café stop. Now, one note: they are dog-friendly. And while I appreciate the inclusivity... I did nearly have to guard my pastry from an overly curious poodle. Cute, yes. Personal space? Also yes. Still, the setting carried the day. Good conversation, a little strategy talk with a VC friend, a few thoughtful exchanges with the waitress -- the kind of afternoon that blends business and lifestyle seamlessly. I just wish I had more time to explore. YE Gurl Says: Narbona is an easy yes for a coffee meeting in Coconut Grove -- polished but relaxed, with just enough charm to make you linger. Come for the coffee, stay for the atmosphere... and maybe keep a light hold on your pastry if there's a dog nearby. read more

This used to be one of my favorite spots. In fact, I had recommended it to several people. Sadly, I was sorely disappointed today. Made my Resy reservation for lunch.... My check was close to $101 plus tip, just for myself. The waiter,Frederico was doing his job like a robot. I ordered the filet mignon. Specifically answered "well". Came bloody.... The waiter was busy with his coworkers so it was a while before I could tell him. He never said a word about the steak. No apology, nothing. Just took the plate, with the mostly uneaten filet mignon. Lacking customer service.. Food a disappointment. Dessert was ok. Manager passed by (I did not ask for the manager) she apologized and comped the dessert. I paid full price for the filet. I thanked her for the free desert. Not sure I will be coming back, much less recommending Narbona in the grove again. read more

Came here for a birthday request. Place was crowded but service was on point. Prices are high but the quality is good. The pizza is real Neapolitan from an authentic Italian oven. Very good. A single pizza is $25 for one. Simple ragu with fettuccini was almost $30. $5 dollars for a 6 oz lemonade and $5 dollars for a refill. The focaccia was good and they only give you one piece per person. Service was really good we were constantly being surveyed and attended to. Based on the service I bumped it to four stars from a three star review. Not the restaurants fault but parking on the weekend in Coco a walk is $16 flat rate whether you're there for five minutes or five hours. They should work out some type of a validation system for those who actually dine in for a discounted price on parking. So mixed reviews but know what you're getting into before you come here. read more

I was walking down the grove with my wife, when we saw this restaurant in Cocowalk. It looked like an interesting concept with very clean and inviting atmosphere. As we walked in we saw all kinds of fresh pastries all done in-house. Kept on walking and caught a glimpse of a gelato bar, ample selection of wines, they have their own butcher, and a gorgeous wood burning pizza oven. The menu is very nice and they even have a winter special including appetizer, entre and dessert for $35.00. We had Jordi waiting on us. He came to the table, presented himself and offered drinks. I had the chicken parmigiana with pasta. The pasta was amazing, however the chicken parmigiana was very thin, hard , and lacked flavor. My wife had the salmon. She was not impressed. They were generous servings and the food was good. Our waiter was very attentive, and covered all our needs. I do recommend this, original Uruguay restaurant! It is a nice experience. read more

I love Narbona and make sure to stop in whenever I'm in Coconut Grove. Whether you're starting your day with an almond croissant and coffee, keeping it going with a great sandwich, treating yourself to macarons or gelato (or both!), or taking home the ingredients for a great meal, you can't go wrong here. DEFINITELY try their pizza, cooked right there in a free-standing brick oven. This Narbona is also a great place to relax after work with a glass of wine and a light supper. The waitstaff is efficient and friendly. All-in-all a very refined place to relax and recharge! read more

I was really nervous to try this restaurant out. It is always busy and it is located at a popular destination in Coconut Grove and so I'm always hesitant spots that are not hidden gems. I came Lakewood night. It was one of the only restaurants that was open, but I was happy to die in. The Staff was really friendly and seated me right away. I did order a veal carpaccio was which was delicious. I also ordered the Bronzino, which I thought was a little bit on the dryer sign. I would come back. The only thing is is that it was pricey for the portions that I received. read more

The "best empanada" as the menu suggests is not quite the best imo. It was a bit dry and needed some flavor. I asked for chimichurri sauce and it took a bit to get it. I met up for a weekday dinner here with a friend who lives in the Grove. Narbona is located in the ground floor of Cocowalk, cattycorner to the location of the Italian spot I took plenty of dates to during my college years and early 20's. Besides a restaurant, there's also an Italian market and gelato shop. The restaurant space is open, subtly lit and perfect for a nice dinner date. Service was casual but relaxed. Acoustics could be a little better, especially if there's a large group at a nearby table. Foodwise, my bruschetta was airy and with just the right amount of crispiness to be enjoyed with the EVOO and rich Modena Balsamic Vinegar. My Tagliatelle Ragout, just past al dente, was a delicious ball of pasta filled in with a subtly smoky bolognese & melted cheese. The portion size was about as full as the flavor. I am taking a star off for my wine. There were only a few wines by the glass, and the pinot I had was a little flat. However, spiked with a dash of liqueur and a fluffy cocoa powder, the creamy tiramusu was a great closing dish and I'd certainly recommend. read more

This place is magic. Does not look like much or even that big from the outside but it is a world inside. Divided into little open sections, you have a restaurant, coffee shop, bakery, pattiserie, charcuterie, fromagerie, Gelato store and market. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is delightful: originally from Uruguay they have a variety of local dishes along with French and Italian that I could spot. We had the short rib empanadas and meat emapanadas at the coffee bar, and also ordered a hazelnut latte. I just have to say, that was one of the best coffees I've had made... perfectly creamy, balanced sweet and rounded. The emapanda was delicious, very filling and we'll seasoned. I can't wait to go back and try the different areas, plus I hear their ice cream, which is homemade, is delicious. read more

My friend and I came in to try the Spice menu but unfortunately it was during that gap between 4 and 6 that the spice menu wasn't available. That's ok. We sampled some dishes from their main menu and they were spectacular. We tried the special of filet mińon and pappardelle pasta in a cream sauce that was not heavy or overpowering and a crab ravioli with shrimp on top in a pink sauce. Very noteworthy dishes. And how can I forget the amazing beet and mandarin with goat cheese topped with micro greens to start. Great flavor combinations, especially the dressing on the side. We tried the grilled octopus but that one dish I've had better. Service was spotty. We had to ask a few times to refill our waters and look for her to ask for a few things here and there instead of her coming to our table but nothing too bad. The only strange thing is there is no bathroom in the restaurant. You literally need to step outside of the restaurant and use the Coconut Grove public restrooms. Not a far walk but just random. They have a really cute market in the restaurant with packaged items to take home and desserts. All in all I'd like to return and try some other things off their menu. The food really was good! read more

Food was great. Nice selection. I wish they had a bit more fish. The seafood they have is very good. I started with the garlic shrimp which was excellent & the grilled tuna. Wife had some pumpkin ravioli. Service was excellent. Ambiance is a bit industrial and mess hall like, but it was fine. Nice specialty cocktails and different beers and wines. There's even a take out deli area with Italian specialty food, wine, cheese, etc. we would go back. The Narbona on Key Biscayne has more seafood. Both are excellent. read more

We stopped in for Sunday dinner today around 730pm after a 15 minute waitlist. Sad to report it was less than stellar. We didn't get bread service until we asked after receiving our appetizer, our waiter never took a drink order, they didn't provide olive oil or balsamic with the bread until we asked another server for it (every other table had it). Why did I ask another server? Well, ours was nowhere to be found for the night. He may have clocked a total of 35 seconds at our table for the night. The bolognese was bland and the pizza & calamari were something akin to "bar food". The gelato was great but that twas' only highlight. I intended to leave three stars but the lack of table prep and noticeably inattentive server was a pretty poor experience. The salt and pepper grinders were also missing but maybe others wouldn't mind such a thing. The food all looked excellent. I wish the flavors and service stood up to the same standard. Maybe it was an off night? As for ambiance, the place was crowded and a group of 4 kids were riding scooters in between tables. One of which was a full size electric scooter. I can only surmise they are either the owner's kids or something important because the staff didn't say a word to them. I only had to step over one scooter- so I guess that's a silver lining. That was our experience in a nutshell. P.S. the host girl was great and very attentive to us + the needs of the restaurant. read more

Came hear for a late lunch w my mom on friday. We started off w the carpaccio which was alright, it was missing flavor imo maybe salt pepper? the rosemary bread was good maybe missing some salt tho as well. For mains i got the half chicken, honestly the star of the show, a very hearty meal i was extremely satisfied. The chicken is seasoned well and comes w 2 sides: fries and the house salad which paired nicely. I also poured the chimichurri on top delectable. My mom got a steak cut she wasn't too satisfied with it was a little chewy but she enjoyed my chicken! For dessert, they have a gelato bar within the restaurant, and we ordered it tableside from our server, you need to try the dates and walnut gelato and pistachio. A lovely combo! Overall, the service was lovely, a little slow but we went at an odd hour. The locale is cute it's in the corner of cocowalk and served as a market/ restaurant and the restaurant is very trafficked bc of the gelato stand inside, good for people watching lots of kids and families coming in but can be a little overstimulating. After a little conversation, I confirmed my suspicions as she said it was cooked to perfection and all the accouterments were amazing as well. Will definitely need to come back to check out the rest of the menu. I also have to say that all the staff were very nice and attentive as well.
