Firsts visit to this new location. Being FW conneseurs, we were still open to try something different. Their current new menu items were spot on. Trips the Blueberry Cornbread and we enjoyed. Good choice. Busy as expected for a Saturday morning but they were able to seat us in less than 10 mins. I asked to add smoked salmon to the Avocado Toast and made it perfect for my taste. Great setup as a new location and can tell the full redesign from the previous restaurant. Our server Maria was amazing. Great, positive attitude. Very friendly and attentive. Def recommend. And ask for Maria! read more

So glad we finally got a First Watch in Kendall!!! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It has a country/beachside style with an open kitchen concept. Feels like you are close the beach or in the Everglades. Wait times are a bit long but it's very new. The first weekend the wait times were about 2 hours. This weekend the wait was about 45 mins. Worth the wait though... The coffee here was the best. I barely had to add any sugar to mine. Definitely recommend as well of an order of million dollar bacon which is caramelized. I ordered the BLT eggs Benedict with a side of million dollar potatoes. The hollandaise sauce had a lemony kick and the potatoes were covered in bacon and gravy. My husband got the chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and sausage. The pancakes were so fluffy and so chocolatey. Yum! My mom got the French toast with fruit and my dad got the waffle with eggs and turkey sausage. They both came a berry compote that was by far the best thing on the table. Will be getting the waffles next time!! For a healthy alternative to breakfast.. First watch can't be beat. Portion sizes are huge for the pricing as well. You definitely get a bang for your buck!! read more

This is the first time I've been to this First Watch location and unfortunately my experience was not so great like I've had at others. The positives are the bathrooms were clean, I love the interior (it's beautiful inside, nice vibe), the service was good, our waitress was nice, and we didn't have to wait long for the food. Also, the coffee was very good! The negatives started of with not being given water for some time, and then when I got my BLT eggs Benedict the egg whites were raw, and my sister's eggs in her order were not made over easy like she wanted. Also, I got the smallest two slivers of avocado I've ever gotten on a BLT eggs Benedict at First Watch, it was nothing. And finally, I had not been given syrup with my pancake. I was waiting for someone to come by so I could ask, but it took too long, so when I saw someone leave and pay their tab in a table near ours I got the syrup left on their table. When I did eat the pancake, it wasn't very good unfortunately. It wasn't a very good experience overall. It was surprising for me. I do love my past experience at other locations, so I may give this one another try. This is a new location and it make be finding its footing. read more

The only thing that I don't like it's closes too early. But I love all, the place the people and love the delicious food

waste of time the place is too busy, i register online 45 minutes in advance to get into the waiting list and when i got there i have to register again and there was another 50 minutes waiting in top of the 45 minutes, in addition to that the host for the Kendall locations first watch on 88 st and 125 have horrible actitute not only she is rude but also bad manners with the rest of the coustumers, the quality of the food is not worth the disrespect of the place read more

First Watch - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Miami, Florida

This location is disappointing! The waffles are always soggy not crispy from being undercooked. Over medium eggs are served over hard. They will not warm the blue berry topping for the waffles like other locations. The food is served cold when they are empty and when they are busy. The coffee is awful very low quality. I've given this location numerous tries and each time it has gotten worse. Even with bringing my own coffee. Anywhere else is better than here. They have the worst cooks! And the servers take long with an attitude. For example they forgot the blueberries and butter for the waffle and waited on other customers for 20 minutes before getting the missing items. They just don't give a flying u know what. Save your money don't come here. read more

First Watch - Had to send back cold overall, soggy waffle, eggs over hard not medium and cold - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Miami, Florida

I have been to a few First Watches and I was excited to see a new location open up in the West Kendall Area. The ambiance is great, the restaurant is a great size and the service was great! The staff were friendly and we got seated almost immediately. As this location is new they don't have their liquor license just yet so I wasn't able to order a mimosa but I am very excited to go back regardless! I love First Watch and they never disappoint! I tried one of their new menu items the Parmesan Prosciutto Toast and it was DELICIOUS! I will definitely be ordering that again! My boyfriend ordered the Farm Stand Breakfast tacos which we have had multiple times and is usually a "Go To" for us! Another MUST is the Million Dollar Bacon. Regardless of if we know what we want to order that day we always know we are ordering the Million Dollar Bacon! We will definitely be back! Can't wait to see what new items will be on the menu and try out another new breakfast menu item! read more

First watch in Kendall. We came in for a birthday breakfast with 5 people on a Sunday. There was a pretty long line but luckily we made the virtual queue an hour or so before getting there so the timing was perfect as we were up next and seated as soon as we got there. Our waitress had amazing manners and provided outstanding service. I got a mix of breakfastitem including their massive pancakes and it was all delicious. They have so many options to choose from and I will need to come back soon! read more

Yesterday we went to your restaurant in Kendall ,Florida.. Well. Let me tell you our experience. Waiting for a waitress was a little long...We ordered your waffles with a side of bacon..Waffles were not hot, your maple syrup was cold after paying ($1.99 per bottle) , asked the waitress to warm it up, she said there was no way to do it. Your bacon was way undercooked ,try to get her attention to this matter, but did not seeker again until the bill was giving to us. Needless to say, we are very disappointed in our visit. Hope you can improve your restaurant. Thanks read more

Coming from New England to see family. Service was terrible. Ordered a power bowl they brought a power wrap. But what makes this place unbearable is the LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD unbearable music. Do the freaking owners realize that people come here to gather, eat, have a conversation and enjoy???? People are not interested in having brunch at a club or clubbing. When I asked the manager, she said, "sorry, we tried but it comes on automatically with a timer." What he hell? Everyone left irritable and in a bad mood. Horrible experience. Take your $$$ elsewhere. read more

This is my second time showing up and sitting at the bar, which was readily available without having to wait even if you're on the waitlist, the service was great and love that they had the garage doors open as the weather was nice and cool! The kale tonic drink was delicious as well as the roast beef half sandwich and the Carne Asada. The tacos were a little dry. They could've used some sort of sauce otherwise a great meal. read more

I usually visit the First Watch in Doral, but today I stopped by the Kendall location--and it did not disappoint! One of the best parts is that you can add your name to the waiting list online before you arrive, which makes the whole process so convenient. Once we were seated, we were handed both the regular and the new spring menu. We decided to start with the bacon cheddar cornbread from the seasonal offerings, and wow--what a great choice. It was warm, flavorful, and had the perfect savory kick. For my main dish, I went with the classic eggs Benedict, which is always a favorite of mine. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the hollandaise sauce was spot on. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the visit--I'll be back! read more

I recently visited the First Watch in Kendall (12516 SW 88th St, Miami) and it was easily one of the best brunch experiences I've had in a while. The restaurant is bright, spacious, and welcoming, with great indoor seating plus outdoor options--perfect for a sunny Florida morning. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made-to-order, just as advertised. I went with the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and a side of Million Dollar Bacon--absolutely delicious and generous portions that left me happy but not stuffed. The coffee was strong and hot, and their fresh juices are a must-try. But what really made the visit special was our server, Vanessa. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She checked in just the right amount, remembered our preferences, and even suggested a great modification to make my dish even better. Her positive energy and genuine care made the whole meal feel extra special--she's a true standout! If you're in the Kendall area looking for a reliable, high-quality breakfast or brunch spot, First Watch is it. We'll definitely be back soon, and I'll be requesting Vanessa again if possible. Highly recommend--5 stars all the way! Thanks, Vanessa and the Kendall team--you made our morning awesome! read more

I've never eaten here before and I will definitely come more often. The food was fantastic. I had the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl with an iced coffee. It was delicious. My friend ordered the egg sandwich with house potatoes and a regular coffee. The service was pretty good and the ambiance was busy, I figured it would be since it was 1pm on a Saturday. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is in the Kendall area and wants some awesome food. Two thumbs up. read more

First Watch - My Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl. So delicious and healthy too. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Miami, Florida

Eight days ago, I posted a review of the first watch by the fall. I gave it three stars because I walked in and sat at the bar for 15 minutes and not a soul came up to me and tried to take my order or anything like that.. I recently discovered there's another first watch closer to where I live on SW. 88th St. and 1 25th Ave. so I went there this morning and surprise the exact same thing happened. Clearly, this is a systemic issue since it's happened twice at two different locations. The restaurant was basically empty at this time around 7:30 in the morning so I have no idea what is going on here. Maybe a staffing issue may be a training issue, but I just cannot imagine having paying customers walk in the restaurant and walk out for lack of acknowledgment. read more

Update from my prior review, I am actually shocked at the lack of professionalism and abysmal response from management staff. I got an email from the local management and the response was very unsatisfactory and unprofessional. There was no subject line, no apology, nor any attempt to acknowledge any of what I said in my review. My complaint is not a long wait, it is about unprofessional behavior and poor management, and this confirms what my prior review said. I will not be back. read more

Food is great, very filling. The service depends on the person. They usually take long but over all the ambiance is good.

I am give this location one star, they have failed a number of times. We gave them a chance with ordering on-line and shown up in person. Seems the excuse is they're very busy. The food in shop was cold and dried out. We gave them a pass, but when we ordered online 4 breakfasts were released. That order was missing many items. We called. Told they were too busy to deal with the order that was missing half the item's. Going forward, I encourage those ordering to either check the order or dont waste your energy and money on this place. read more

I tried First Watch for the first time for brunch with a coworker and I'd probably land at about 3 stars. The service was incredible. The two ladies who helped us were attentive, kind, and checked in just the right amount. They really made the experience pleasant. Also, the Million Dollar Bacon was delicious definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the dish I was most excited about was a big letdown. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, which is one of my favorite brunch dishes, and it just didn't come out right. The bread on my plate was extremely tough, making it hard to cut and eat. One of the eggs was cooked perfectly, but the other was basically hard-boiled, which definitely shouldn't happen with Eggs Benedict. On top of that, the hollandaise sauce lacked flavor, which is really what brings the whole dish together. I was honestly hoping this would become my new go-to brunch spot, but I left feeling pretty disappointed. The service and the bacon were great, but the main dish just didn't live up to expectations. read more

again, excellent all-around service from everyone. Food got there fast despite the place becoming very busy. Was seated in a nice comfortable booth and fully enjoyed our breakfast. Finally tried the highly recommended million dollar bacon! Did not disappoint. read more

Extremely frustrating experience. We were a party of ten and were specifically told that if we waited longer (could be 45- to an hour), they would be able to seat us together. We trusted what we were told and stayed. After a long wait, they provided us with our table, however, the table was split and they could in fact not accommodate our party to sit together. At that point, we had already waited an hour based on information that turned out to be completely inaccurate. If they had been honest from the beginning, we could have made other plans instead of being strung along. This wasn't just an inconvenience -- it was poor communication and a clear lack of respect for our time. Don't make promises to large groups that you can't keep. read more

Stopped by for breakfast early on a Sunday morning and had a great experience! We were initially offered a table but asked for a booth instead. The host was very accommodating and quickly found one for us in the back. The spot was cozy, though the AC was a little chilly. The menu had an impressive variety, and I went with the salmon Benedict and a side of cheesy grits. Both were absolutely delicious! Everyone at the table loved their meals as well (check the receipt for details). The only small mix-up was receiving plain milk instead of chocolate milk, but the service was quick and attentive, making it a minor hiccup. Perhaps they can omit the side leaf greens or reduce them since neither one of us ate any. We'll definitely be back! read more
