We went at 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday. It was busy, but not overwhelmingly so, and we only waited about 10 minutes for an outdoor table. The ambiance was really nice and made for a great brunch. The food was incredible. Everything we ordered was so delicious, and the drinks were refreshing and well made. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. We felt a bit rushed because the check was brought to our table before we had even finished eating. We also had to wait about 30 minutes after asking for napkins before they finally arrived. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the food and atmosphere, but I hope the service improves because it would make the experience even better.

Pleasant experience, love the online waitlist option at all first watches. Parking is a little tough since this location is in a very crowded kendall plaza. Our server was a sweetie but did mistake that I ordered scrambled eggs and not a sunny side for my breakfast burger. These things happen, rest was good.

Food is DELICIOUS! Service is a little slow as they are busy and wait times for a table are sometimes long. Restaurant is clean and ambiance is nice

I usually enjoy coming here for brunch because the food, service and ambiance are consistently great, which is why today's experience was so disappointing. When my meal arrived, several items that were supposed to come with it were missing, including the arugula and avocado that accompanied the poached eggs with hollandaise. After I mentioned it, they took my plate back, but it came back with only a tiny portion of salad and just two tiny slices of avocado. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn't improve the experience. The bacon was completely burnt, the bread was very hard, and the eggs were cold by the time they were returned. After finishing my meal, I also had to wait quite a while for my check, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. This has always been one of my go-to brunch spots, so I was genuinely surprised by the decline in both the food quality and the service today. I hope this was just an off day because I've had much better experiences here in the past.

You can't go wrong with First Watch for a nice quick breakfast. They don't have any specialty coffee which is always a miss but the food and service is good.

BLT Eggs Benedict

Visited First Watch for Sunday brunch and used my birthday coupon - such a nice perk! Arrived around 9:15 am and there was already a 20-minute wait for inside seating, so we opted to sit outside. A note of caution: while the fresh air is nice, the outdoor seating area has quite a few birds around and unfortunately some of the chairs had bird droppings, so inside is definitely the better option if you can wait. We ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict and really enjoyed it - perfectly poached eggs, fresh tomato, and greens. For drinks, we tried the Blazing Dragon juice and the Kale Tonic. The Blazing Dragon leaned on the sweeter side, while the Kale Tonic was more on the bitter side - definitely more of an acquired taste. Service was attentive and friendly by Jessica especially considering how busy it was at peak breakfast time. Food arrived fresh, and the staff kept things moving smoothly despite the weekend crowd. Prices are on the higher side. Overall, a solid breakfast/brunch spot with creative menu options and unique juices. Great for families or groups, just be prepared for a wait on weekends and aim for inside seating. The birthday coupon was a fun extra touch and made the visit even better.

As a diner it is very nice and a step up from some of the older ones in the area which haven't been updated in decades. Typical diner style food. The seasonal specials feature nice dishes. The million dollar bacon was great. The iced latte was overly sweet--pure sugar. Service is good but it gets way too packed and way too loud. There aren't a lot of good brunch spots in west Kendall so everyone flocks here. The downside is that there are no gluten free options other than eggs and bacon. It's disappointing.

Trifecta

First Watch never disappoints. This is my first time coming to the kendall location . I must say it's pretty big inside. It has indoor and outdoor seating which is great . We arrived on a busy Saturday morning around 10:30 am . Which I would say is peak time . We waited around 10- 15 minutes until our table was ready. My only issue was , once you receive a text message that you table is ready you have 2 minutes to check in with the hostess. If not you lose your spot. I feel like that time should be possibly 5 minutes. Once we sat down we were attended too right away . Our food came out quickly and it was hot which i appreciated . I got the trifecta which came with a pancake , sausage and eggs. My friends got the French toast and the blueberry lemon cornbread which was all good. I also ordered the purple haze juice which was delicious. I will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu . Until next time .

This was our first time at First Watch and we really enjoyed it! We shared the Blueberry Cornbread and it was so delicious, we really loved it! I tried their breakfast tacos which came with chicken, chorizo, eggs, and salsa; it was a generous portion and very tasty! We also tried their seasonal dishes: Elote Burrito which was very good and they loved the corn salsa, and the Strawberry Tres Leches french toast, which was also very delicious and sweet! We will definitely return to try more items from their menu! The service was very helpful and the food came out pretty quickly for how busy it was!

The food here was great and very filling. The dishes are huge enough to share with another person. The steak and eggs were tasty but it had a bit too much of feta cheese for my liking. It threw off the taste a bit. The strawberry shortcake French toast was delicious!! Not too sweet and not to tarty just right. Our server was great he was very attentive. The restaurant has plenty of seating. The only thing I don't like is that we can't order drinks until 1 pm on Sundays

The food here is killer and so fresh. I always enjoy my visits here for time to time. **Just an FYI for all the brunchies out there, this specific location DOES NOT sell any alcoholic beverages before 1PM on SUNDAYS** Keep that in mind if you're looking to try any of their cocktails or seasonal sangrias. Our server was attentive and very thoughtful and the restaurant isn't too noisy being how busy it is. I love this place and for the price, the amount of food you get is pretty hefty. I always have to take some home. Did I mention I love this place?

Took me a while to visit this location, first one close to me!!! Went with a group of 7, we were seated promptly, all the orders were correct and nicely cooked. Nice, chill ambience and the food was all fresh and tasty. My favorites this visit were the club sandwich and the farmhouse skillet. I like any of their skillets honestly, and their avocado toast. I also enjoy their donuts with Nutella, pancakes and Belgian waffles. Anyways, I'll definitely be back for more. Yum.

Stopped by Friday around noon. The hostess wasn't welcoming but we were seated quickly. We ordered the summer corn bread with blueberries and lemon butter and two breakfast plates. The corn bread had good flavor but it was very dry. I asked for soft scrambled eggs, they came out really well done. The breakfast potatoes weren't cooked all the way through. The breakfast plates come with one piece of toast, not two. The best part of the meal were the blueberry pancakes. Sooo good! The syrup was also warm which was a nice touch. They also leave a coffee carafe at your table so you can refill yourself as needed. That's a plus. The hostess that sat us also rang us up when we went to pay. She was super unfriendly and probably shouldn't be in that role. She seemed bothered and annoyed. This was my 2nd visit to First Watch although two different locations. I'm not really sure why they're so popular but maybe I'm just not ordering the right things. I may give it one more try at some point but not anytime soon. Not bad, but not great.

It took a bit for our waiter to stroll back around to take our order, and for a Sunday morning brunch, I wouldn't have considered this place a "packed" house. When the time came around, I was first to place my order, I wanted something different so I ordered Shakshuka. Of course; I did my quick research of the dish before getting to the restaurant! Shakshuka is suppose to be a one-skillet egg dish, the eggs are basted in this rich, thick red pepper, tomato, onions, and garlic sauce, topped with satueed peppers. I also ordered a French toast and chai latte! Fast forward to when everyone dishes were dropped off, even though I was first to order my dish did not arrive. I waited around for 10-15 minutes, my whole family was pretty much done with their meals. I had to call over our waitress to advise my order was never dropped at the table. After letting her know, my dish was expedited to the table in less than 5 minutes. Could they have been a rush to send out the dish? Possibly. Because that was the worst dish ever and nothing like described. The peppers were not sautéed (or little to nothing) and were just sliced, plated for decor. The tomato/red pepper based sauce seemed like it was just canned tomato sauce, very liquid-y. Simply was not fond of this dish. The french toast were more like hard french toast sticks, I would've liked it to be on the fluffier end, but they were hard/toasted. Nothing that blew my mind. As far as my chai latte, it was divine! The perfect warm hug. The chai to steamed milk ratio was on point, and topped cinnamon. My mom ordered their $42 Entrecöte Frites; man, did that sound delicious. As a true steak connoisseur, she loves a bleeding rare steak! So that was the temperature she ordered, rare. I was excited to snag a bite or two from her plate to be the judge it for myself. The plate dropped the first time, she cut right in the middle of it to see the finishing temperature... it was wrong. Sent it right back. The second time it hit the table, the temperature was correct. A bright red center and a seared exterior, just what she was looking for. However, it was so salty, you just could not get past all the salt, nothing to enjoy. Not edible, unless you wanted clogged arteries right then and there! My wife ordered a caprese sandwich. Yes, I also took a bite of that while waiting my for my order(lol). The baguette bread was airy, delicious, and soft. The mozzarella was fresh and the tomatoes were nice and ripe. I also tried their croissants, almond and chocolate croissant, pistachio croissant, and Nutella croissant. They were buttery, flaky, and all the fillings complimented it well. My conclusion to La Boulangerie is you have to be selective about what you order from here. Maybe they had an off day and we were the unlucky ones, but the more complicated meals turned out to taste the worst. However, you can definitely enjoy light bites here... you can't go wrong with a baguette sandwich, coffee, or a pastry. I think baking and light fare is where their true expertise lies.

Music was a vibe as I remember walking in hearing Bob Marley "Three Little Birds" and then Stevie Wonder "Ribbon in the Sky." Yup! The food was actually amazing, especially for a casual cafe environment. I had the loaded avocado toast which came with two slices toast with creamy avocado spread across it, cherry tomatoes, a sprinkle of feta cheese, a balsamic vinegar sauce. For my daughter I ordered the waffles with berries. This was slightly smaller than I expected but delicious. So sugary and flavorful. And I had a honey cinnamon latte which I also felt was full of flavor and had lots of cinnamon (I've had this in other places where I felt the flavor and cinnamon were lacking). That being said, it took 24 minutes to get our food which I think is a bit excessive for this environment. There was only one girl working when we were there and lots of people. Also, the bill for all that (plus an apple juice) was $53 and change including tip! (I paid that same amount recently at a cute sit down restaurant where the meal was big enough to have plenty of leftovers). The ambiance had a clean, minimalist aesthetic with pretty decor pieces. It was very quiet too... about halfway through my visit, they turned on some music, but it was still a quiet, calm environment with the music. I prefer a busier, fun type of vibe, but for those who are looking for something very serene and calm this would be an ideal place to relax or get some work done as long as you're willing to wait for your food!
