Cute and big location. The croquetas are awesome and so different because they are so creamy inside. Avocado toast was delicious and fresh. Huevos rotos with truffle also good and filling. The disco was yummy, super warm and gooey. Will be back.

I rather them be honest about a charge than just try to hide it-- that's not professional.

From the past reviews responses, it seems the owner himself does not value customer service but I think it's better to say the truth to attempt to help a new business improve. BE AWARE of an 18% service fee for "ONE OR MORE people" that they conveniently forget to mention and don't show on the tablet. We are not in South Beach, we are locals or even a family visiting Palmetto Bay and un cafe con leche pequeño to cost $5 has to be ON POINT especially when there are other Latin restaurants nearby. French toast is literally one thin slice. Idk about you but I don't like to be stared at while I'm eating and if you're a waitress you should be comfortable answering questions about the menu without getting bothered. The price, portion and awkward customer service is why it shouldn't require a service charge. Go for yourself if you want to but keep this in mind if you're looking to have a filling meal.

This is what you would get if a Cuban person opened a café/bakery in Paris. The ambience and decor is tre magnifique. The café con leche was seriously the best I've ever gotten at a restaurant when I asked for it "clarito". I know it's a sacrilege, but I like my coffee light . The servers were nice. Our waiter only took our order everything else was done by other servers. We had to ask one of the other servers for our bill because our waiter was nowhere to be seen. He then came and charged us. I will say, paying the European way on the little credit card machine at the table is very convenient but when they're staring at you while you're deciding on the tip, it's a big turn off. Especially when the person charging you was not the person attending to you throughout the meal. He really didn't deserve the tip. We hope that the tip goes towards everyone and not just him.

Decided to stop in for a quick brunch. This French-Cuban inspired restaurant wasn't too busy so upon entering, we were greeted and sat down with menus. The next time we saw our server he brought us iced water which was a nice touch since I'm so used to asking for water. We started off with some chorizo croquettas as recommended by the server and I'm personally not the biggest croquetta fan but these were pretty good. Next, we shared a Spanish sandwich. The server suggested we added arugula and it was great! Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience but it wasn't a great experience. The service could've been a little faster.

Place is cutely decorated and we were warmly welcomed by staff. Menu seemed limited, but in fact, it was enough for breakfast without overkill. My eggs Benedict were good, but could have been better. The cafe con leche and accompanying bread were delicious though. Overall, will return to give the place another try.

Lovely place and tasty foods. But 8 dollars for this 'disco volador' We took 4 to my in-Laws . Hope they really liked them!

It's super cute decor. It has a French vibe. Small menu which I prefer . To my surprise it had Cuban menu items. I tried the croque madame. It was good. I was craving an avocado toast but unfortunately they have but it's avocado slices. I prefer a smashed avocado for my toast dish. The server was very attentive, appreciate it that. Will return to try other dishes.

The place is adorable. Really cute decor. There's a bicycle on one of the grass walls little bicycle more bicycles on the other walls, cafetera sculpture hanging from the ceiling, neon signs.... Extremely cute I could go on. Menu short and sweet with a couple of different options. Food taste great don't like that you're not allowed to mix the croquetas in the croqueta trio. The menu makes it seem like you'll get one of each flavor. Menu is limited but plenty of tasty and unique options to choose from. They have discos which my grandma used to make for me growing up. They have ham and cheese, guava and cheese, Nutella, and dulce de leche and cheese. Prices are good but portions are small. My son's French toast was literally one slice of bread!!! If you do t like syrup speak up because the French toast comes in a plate of syrup. Tip is included.

¡Volveremos pronto!

Our next family food adventure take us Cafe Bea located in Pinecrest with a category of 4.7 and more than 87 reviews, we driving around and we stop for something to eat and drink. Something very important that caught my attention is that everything is clean. I like to check even the bathrooms and they are impeccably clean. The decoration is very striking, it has many details that make it cozy and perfect when you come to share with family or friends. I think we can say that it is a Latin style, more like a traditional Cuban one. Ernesto the waiter who took our order a little late but after a long day of work kept his patience intact, our order combined breakfast and dinner and still the chef was able to please our needs. Our order: Two coffees with milk An order of ham croquettes A zucchini soup A carrot soup A fresh lemonade An order of toast Everything hot and delicious. I went in search of the same flavor I'm used to at the first location, and yes, it was the same flavor, so the tradition remains.

I absolutely love their food! Unfortunately the owners are not very welcoming therefore my husband is not a big fan of that establishment. We visited the west kendall locations numerous times but the older gentleman trying to look young is not friendly. His 5/6 yr old son nonetheless is so adorable. My stars go out to the Chef and servers. Food comes out very fast and they prepare the best mint lemonade. The Pinecrest location only had three parties of 2 when we had brunch but unless the owner learns how to smile or greet customers the business might not survive at the new location.

Service was 10/10. We were seated right away and food cane out quickly and all the food was very hot (in the best way - I HATE cold food). The place is casual but decorated so cute. Happy to have a cute spot in my neighborhood. The bacon in the eggs Benedict was amazing. The Croquetas were yummy and hot. The green juice is definitely healthy (I like the taste of greens) and it's blended with ice, very refreshing. The Carrot soup tasted healthy as well, which I didn't mind at all.

Absolutely not worth it! The strawberry was pretty good. They were able to substitute the milk for coconut milk. They weren't able to substitute the foam for non dairy foam, so we got no foam. The tiramisu matcha was terrible. It tastes NOTHING like tiramisu. All they needed to do was make the mascarpone sweeter and thicker, and use sweetened condensed milk mix for the milk then soak the lady finger in espresso or sprinkle espresso on top. I was so disappointed it tasted like snot in a glass with matcha on top to me. The manager was very nice, she asked me if I liked it and I was honest with her she replaced my drink with a strawberry matcha. They took forever getting my strawberry matcha to me, it was getting busy but our server never came back to our table to give me my new drink. He was awful. The ambiance was decent, the table will ruin your clothes. The cocking glue melted off onto my partners pants. Sit inside if you can!

Filled with eggs, bacon, and delicious sauces that tied everything together, every bite was better than the last. Even the side salad was fresh and flavorful. And then came the Nutella French toast. What a treat! It was unique, indulgent, and absolutely delicious without being overly sweet. It paired perfectly with the savory croissant and gave us the best of both worlds. We loved every single bite. If you're looking for a breakfast spot in Miami that's worth the buzz, Vanilla Café is it. The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it.
