To drink, I had their orange juice and a cappuccino. The OJ was freshly made and refreshing. The cappuccino is one of the better ones I've ever had. To start, we had the cheese croquettes, nicely filled, crispy, and delicious. I had their eggs with ham and toast. I had my eggs scrambled and added cheese; they were nicely good, and the toast was a baguette that was nicely toasted and buttery. My friend had their Spanish sandwich, which looked delicious. Was craving a brunch dish today and decided to try this place out. The ambiance is very cute, decor is nice and family friendly environment. Waitress seemed busy but there were bussers around to help and I spent more time asking them for my needs than w the waitress but it is possible it's designed that way. The mint lemonade I got was delicious! And then I ordered the Benedict to go- and there's the sad part- the egg was nearly completely Raw, like soup I couldn't eat them, it was unfortunate because the flavor was there in the hollandaise sauce so I just had the bread w the sauce and bacon. I hope they can correct this because otherwise I would have returned, but this is a large fault of the main dish. Oh also each bill comes with 18% service charge automatic - they handed me a device with 5,7 and 10% Additional with no context. Came for breakfast with a friend. The place is super cute and the staff is friendly. I had a café con Leche with almond milk and my friend had a Cortadito, both were great. My friend had a huevos rotos and I got an eggs Benedict. We shared it. So so delicious. I'm not a fan of runny eggs, but my friend got hers medium and I got my eggs poached hard. I kind of wish Mine were a little runny because hers was really good. Her huevos came with fries and the fries were amazing. Cooked to perfection and tasted great. Both meals were beyond delicious. The decor drew me in, and the food kept me there. When we walked in, we were seated promptly, and although they were busy, there were plenty of tables available. The decor is super cute and a bit eclectic. There were several things on the menu that caught my eye, but I was in the mood for breakfast so I had the avocado toast and a side of crisp bacon. Everything was served quickly and was hot and fresh. My friend and I both had a cappuccino which we enjoyed. This is what you would get if a Cuban person opened a café/bakery in Paris. The ambience and decor is tre magnifique. The café con leche was seriously the best I've ever gotten at a restaurant when I asked for it "clarito". I know it's a sacrilege, but I like my coffee light . The servers were nice. Our waiter only took our order everything else was done by other servers. We had to ask one of the other servers for our bill because our waiter was nowhere to be seen. He then came and charged us. I will say, paying the European way on the little credit card machine at the table is very convenient but when they're staring at you while you're deciding on the tip, it's a big turn off. Especially when the person charging you was not the person attending to you throughout the meal. He really didn't deserve the tip. Decided to stop in for a quick brunch. This French-Cuban inspired restaurant wasn't too busy so upon entering, we were greeted and sat down with menus. The next time we saw our server he brought us iced water which was a nice touch since I'm so used to asking for water. We started off with some chorizo croquettas as recommended by the server and I'm personally not the biggest croquetta fan but these were pretty good. Next, we shared a Spanish sandwich. From the past reviews responses, it seems the owner himself does not value customer service but I think it's better to say the truth to attempt to help a new business improve. BE AWARE of an 18% service fee for "ONE OR MORE people" that they conveniently forget to mention and don't show on the tablet. We are not in South Beach, we are locals or even a family visiting Palmetto Bay and un cafe con leche pequeño to cost $5 has to be ON POINT especially when there are other Latin restaurants nearby. French toast is literally one thin slice. Idk about you but I don't like to be stared at while I'm eating and if you're a waitress you should be comfortable answering questions about the menu without getting bothered. I absolutely love their food! Unfortunately the owners are not very welcoming therefore my husband is not a big fan of that establishment. We visited the west kendall locations numerous times but the older gentleman trying to look young is not friendly. His 5/6 yr old son nonetheless is so adorable. My stars go out to the Chef and servers. Food comes out very fast and they prepare the best mint lemonade. Service was 10/10. We were seated right away and food cane out quickly and all the food was very hot (in the best way - I HATE cold food). The place is casual but decorated so cute.
