nutella beignet and iced latte
Nisha P.

I've been to this location several times, and I really enjoy it. There's an easy parking lot right next to the restaurant, there's ample seating, and the food is pretty good and quick in terms of service. I enjoy the omelette and the breakfast sandwich, and all of the pastries are really delicious too. The coffee is nice and strong. Overall is a really peaceful and lovely experience to have breakfast or brunch here, and it's a great place to meet up with People as I see many people meeting with friends are having business meetings here. It's also in a really great location and lots to do in terms of walking around and looking at shops and other things in this area of South miami.

I only had a latte and a pain au chocolat (aka chocolate croissant in the states) and had it to go but the service was great, the place is super cute. And latte and pain au chocolat delicious. I have a French background and to see pain au chocolat called the right way made me so happy. It's silly but every time I see chocolat croissant it annoys me lol. I can't wait to go back and try a few items in the menu that looked delicious.

I love when places live up to the hype and maman certainly did. First impression, the decor is gorgeous. Very inviting with lots of light. The service was excellent. I hate when I go eat at places and they're on top of you every 5 minutes. They gave me a whole bottle of water so I did not have to keep asking. Food came out quick. The menu is really good. I chose the Papa's Breakfast Bowl. I loved it! The pastries all looked amazing but that will be for my next visit.

Came here with my boyfriend for our Sunday breakfast. The menu has incredible choices, farm to table delicious goodies. The service was amazing and the waiters gave us suggestions. The ambiance is wonderful, it's giving New York breakfast joint with a flowery twist. We ordered the prosciutto sandwich and papas bowls. Amazing! Their drinks were great too, lavender matcha with oat milk was one of my favorites. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

The cutest little cafe in town! Love the decor and they also sell merchandise that they've collaborated with Martha Stewart. It does get busy, it is a smaller cafe. So at the entrance you can order prior to seating. We opted for to-go, so we waited at the display case in the front where you can see all the pastries and coffee selections. There were so many good items, with vegan and gluten free options too. We ended up ordering a chocolate chip cookies which really great. Crisp on the outside and chewy soft on the inside. I got a Lavendar Vanilla Iced Latte which was refreshing and not overwhelming with the lavendar.

I've been to several Maman locations, and one thing I love is how consistent they are..the food, coffee, and pastries are always top-notch. I stopped in after the gym for some breakfast and went with the avocado toast and a coffee, and it hit the spot as always. The staff is another reason I keep coming back. They're so friendly and accommodating, and you can really see how well they work together to make sure every guest is taken care of. Whatever you need, they'll go out of their way to make it happen. Maman is always such a reliable and welcoming spot

Came for brunch and what a cute little spot tucked in the middle of South Miami. We ordered the Pepe's breakfast bowl which was a flavor explosion - my fiancé personally enjoys simple dishes so this felt like a lot for her but for me i loved all the different textures and flavors. The fresh arugula was a nice addition to the heaviness of the fats from the bacon and eggs, lots of potatoes in this dish, it could have had half of them removed and added an extra egg. That's my only con here was that it was only a singular egg. I got the estee's bacon egg & cheese which was insane as far as flavor, so tasty!! BUT it was dripping down my hands with oil, too much oil, where did it even come from? It felt like an exaggeration of oil and i felt a little gross afterwards which sucks because the flavor was there. I both had iced lattes which we both really enjoyed - great coffee flavor! But the real deal..was the classic chocolate chip cookie! Holy cow it was perfection. Not overly sweet, crispy edges, gooey center, big chocolate chunks, everything you would ever want in a chocolate chip cookie. I would come here over and over again for these cookies. Service was ok, a little slow but i suppose due to busy brunch service. Overall great tasting and didn't break the bank, i definitely look forward to coming back here again and trying some new things!

I came here for lunch today with a friend. It was very busy when we arrived at 1pm on a Saturday. We had to wait for a table for about 5 minutes. It was hard to choose something. Everything on the menu looks great! My friend ended up ordering the green goddess salad with chicken and I ordered the Agethe's Mediterranean tabbouleh salad (there's no tabbouleh in it). We both ordered the red citrus and berry tea. We both ate our entire salads. They were fresh and delicious! I loved the tea too. For dessert we split the "Kitchen sink cookie". Super yummy. The waiter was so nice and attentive. He even gave me a chocolate chip cookie because it was my birthday! The interior is very nice. Clean, bright, lovely blues and whites. I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely be back soon. Next time I want to try the Ratatouille eggs. They're only available on the weekends.

I hit this spot up once in a while after the gym. The food is delicious, abundant, cooked & served with love not the cheapest $$ but food can be shared. Service & ambiance are always good. This day our group had several latte including a fleur de sel caramel that was a home run as well soups and 2 katie sandwiches with side roasted potatoes all excellent. On weekends only there is table service available here. Sorry no pictures taken this day.

pistachio croissant & matcha latte

There's so many mamans around Miami, and I'm not complaining! I looooove maman and am obsessed with both their matcha (they have pistachio milk and vanilla lavender syrup) and my fav croissant of all time - chocolate pistachio. I was in Kendall and this was the closest location being in South Miami. I haven't really been to this side of town so it was a good excuse to explore it. This maman is on the corner and was actually super packed for a Friday morning. It's one of those moments where you wonder what everyone's job is as everyone was mostly here chatting and enjoying breakfast. Although it was packed, I was able to find a seat. I've only been to two other mamans and this one might be my least favorite for layout but it was still cute and I had a comfy place to sit. For parking, there is street parking around and a lot in the back of this location using the PayByPhone app. The service was super friendly and prompt for both ordering and getting the matcha to my table. Overall, a cute spot and loved being able to grab my favorite croissant and matcha!

Great service here! Quick and easy. The place is clean. Great assortment of to go items like overnight oats and baked goods. I ordered the build your own omelet with spinach, feta, and tomato. It was very good. Ask for hot sauce on the side! The best thing here is the frozen latte! I got a vanilla one. it is so delicious on a summer morning. Even though their sit-down food is not bad, i still think their bread-and-butter is the baked goods and a nice frozen latte! Definitely a good addition to this area.

Loved the location, it was extremely quiet and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They helped pick out som key items for an early lunch / late breakfast. Was Not a fan of the lemon cream croissant but everything else was fantastic.

This is an excellent little cafe that's great for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, especially if you can get a table outside. The interior feels cramped when every table is full, and the food and service here is good enough to keep it packed during peak hours. However, if you're hungry in the morning and just want to grab one of their excellent pastries and coffee, proceed inside and pick from the display case. The coffee here is great, whether you just get an Americano, espresso, or any other crafted hot or cold coffee drinks. They offer alternative milks for those unfortunate souls cursed with lactose intolerance. Check out the pictures I posted for the pastries I tried at 11AM on a Sunday morning. The Almond croissant, the pistachio croissant, and the Kouign Maman (a play on the traditional (Kouign Annan) were all excellent. The cookies caught me off guard. Wow! Have a cookie here and you'll be so happy. I have also tried the scones and they weren't dry at all. The citrus loaf has hints olive oil, lemon and orange. Put this place on your list. Even when it's busy, it's worth the wait.

So, let's get into it: I don't know about you, but the one thing I do not enjoy doing is driving and circling around, being lost, just to find an establishment. So, I love that this restaurant is so easy to find with good signage, lots of nearby parking, both street and lots. Anywho, once I parked, the manager Judd was so friendly and kind and directed me to the table where my friend was seated. He overheard that I was kind of speaking loud over the music when I barely had a voice due to losing it from another event, so he kindly turned down the music for us. Once there, service was quick and attentive. I got a Fresh Paloma for my drink and the Seared Salmon for dinner. The drink was a good size and tasted good, no complaints there. As for the dinner, WOW. This was delicious, I would get this again. The flavors were there and the portions were just perfect (not too much and not too little, I usually never get enough or leave with leftovers). Also, not overpriced for Miami in my opinion. Aside from that, I did try some of my friend's off-menu pasta and it was really yummy. Furthermore, they have great weekly specials: (Note, subject to change. Please check Instagram or call for Current Week): Tuesday: Burgers and Bottles, $10 Burgers and Half off Select Bottles of Wine Wednesday: Double Loyalty Points and Fire, Flour & Fizz ($12 Pizzas, $12 Aperol Spritz, $7 Prosecco, 5pm-close) Thursday Ladies Night: Complimentary Bubbly for Ladies 4pm-7pm Sunday: 10am-4pm Bloody Mary Bar Go check it out, I don't think you'll regret it. I chose to stay oblivious to all the chatter until I heard that it would include a cafe. Then they had my attention. Sebastian's cafe has a very limited menu and hours of operation. You can grab breakfast or lunch here Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 2:30. With lots of other dining options around the area it seems like it might be difficult for this place to really thrive but only time will tell! I headed to the alumni center today for no other reason than to try this place out. I opted for a Hurricane Toasted Salad which sounded exactly like something I like to order at Niko's at the UM foodcourt. It's one of those items that throws the word "salad" in the titel to make it seem like what you're getting is healthy, when it's really not. It's foccacia bread laid out, topped with mozarella cheese, chicken, and olive tapenade that is toasted. Then that is capped with mixed greens and balsamic vinagerette. While it may not be the idyllic salad, it certainly is delicious! Although this one was drier and not as tasty as the one from my beloved Niko's... I opted to take mine to go but there is plenty of seating inside this place and a TV if you're looking to catch some news in the morning. Although the menu is small, it offers tasty subs, grilled sandwiches, wraps, and toasted salads. Their breakfast menu is quite extensive too and they even have cortadito's! Would I go out of my way to grab lunch from her again? Probably not. But I'd definitely come hungry to a meeting or event that I ever had to attend at the alumni center and swing by here before!
