Magic City Perks is a great spot to grab a drink, bite, or work from in Kendall. I typically work from the Starbucks in the London Square plaza but decided to work from a new spot and this place was recommended to me. There's parking in the lot both in front of and behind the business. I parked behind and didn't even know it until walking into Magic City Perks. This spot is super spacious with plenty of lighting and seating. The menu has a lot of drink options to choose from and even has some bites and baked goods. During my last visit, I was intrigued by their Fall specials and at first ordered a matcha lavender latte but after placing my order, I saw that they had pistachio matcha so I had to change it. They were super nice about accommodating my updated order and the staff was super friendly. If you know me, I'm a sucker for pistachio matcha and most places only have it as a seasonal special so I HAD to get it. It did not disappoint! I honestly can't wait to come back here just to get it again. With plenty of seating and outlets inside, this spot is a great place to remote work from! Overall such a hidden gem in Kendall.

Come with me to Magic City Perks, a coffee shop located in Country Walk. They offer coffee, sandwiches, croissants, and other breakfast and brunch items. I had a cappuccino, an avocado, turkey, bacon, and egg croissant (I opted for no egg). The croissant was great. The cappuccino was okay for me; it was very strong. I also tried their hibiscus iced tea, which was refreshing and had a good flavor. Overall, I would try Magic City Perks again, but I would try a different coffee next time.

Leaving a review after my second visit and I'm happy to report I will be coming back whenever I'm in the area! One thing I would say they excel at is a good seasonal menu-- one time I think I had a chocolate cherry latte and this visit the winter drinks were in full swing including an eggnog latte! The coffee is fantastic and I also had a mushroom and cheese empanada that was absolutely delicious. The only downside to this place is possibly that it's tricky to find within the shopping plaza but make sure you find it because its worth the hunt! The space itself isn't super inviting--would love to see some more comfy seating but there is plenty of space which is a plus for large groups! Come check them out!

I was in the area and wanted to stop for some coffee and decided to give this one a shot. I got an iced caramel latte I believe which was good. I also got a tuna salad croissant, which was absolutely delicious but I think the star the show is the customer service I was provided with. The gentleman shared he's the one who made the tuna, provided recommendations and was very welcoming. The place is also cute inside. It was just a little hot inside but I mean, that's a Miami problem. I'd come back just for the service.

Great spot to grab a bite. The coffee was amazing and the crossaint sandwhich was really yummy and filling. The owner was very nice and the service was quick . Lots of space and seating , they have different coffee options also. will definitely be returning to try more.

I love coming here for a casual coffee date I have taken my best friend and my mom they have both loved it. Not photographed but the Caprese Croissant is 10/10, flavors are amazing and the avocado toast is delicious as well!

If you're in Kendall, this MUST be your next coffee run! From the ambiance, amazing staff, DELICIOUS coffee and even better customer service; Ana & Bert exceeded our expectations! Be sure to ask for the flan iced coffee (made with extra love) and the Iced White Chocolate Caramel latte. We also grabbed the Lemon blueberry cake slice which was to die for! Thank you again Ana!

Great service from the staff. They were helpful in explaining all the options and even gave us an extra treat. Chocolate chip cookies are as good as ever, the honey cinnamon latte (with real honey for me, not syrup) was also very good. The pain au chocolat is huge! So worth it! Nice space and a great quiet place to work.

Update! Anna reached out and welcomed us to come back and try Magic City Perks again, and refunded our last experience. The staff was much friendlier this time around, Anna was great! The coffee was amazing, we got waffles for my son, he cleaned the plate! They were really good! So glad we gave it another chance, we will be back!

We love Magic City Perks! My husband raves about their coffee, saying it's one of the best in Miami. My daughter can't get enough of their delicious croissant cheese, and I'm addicted to their ice raspberry white latte - it's seriously the best! We love visiting Magic City Perks and can't recommend it enough. The atmosphere is bright, clean and inviting, and the staff is always friendly. If you're a coffee lover or just looking for a tasty treat, you have to try Magic City Perks!

Stopped over here as an afternoon Sunday treat with my partner! I got a iced almond milk hazelnut latte , and he tried the iced flan latte ( they did warn us it was gonna be super sweet but it was straight up flan in a cup , so yummy) he also tried the bacon egg and cheese croissant ! Overall, it seems like a super quiet nice place to eat a meal, enjoy a coffee and some conversation! The ladies were very nice :) I loved that they had an extensive list of substitutions for cow milk ! We sat outside but they did have a couple of cute couches at the front where you could have a little "friends" central perk moment !! Thanks for having us :)

Such a nice little coffee shop! I felt very welcomed as soon as I came in and was greeted. The coffee shop is actually bigger than I thought. It's very clean and spacious. Makes a nice place to study! I ordered a custom drink. I had an iced pumpkin chai latte! I definitely recommend it! I like that they have different milks to choose from along with many syrup flavors to add to your drink. I also ate their chicken empanada which came out hot and delicious. I was helped by Jose. He is very kind and made sure I was happy with my order and told me about everything there they have to eat and drink. Magic City Perks is lucky to have him as an employee here! I will be coming back for more, can't wait!

iced cherry matcha almond milk latte (seasonal), almond croissant

I've been coming here a few times a year, trying different items off their menu. This croissant is delicious!! The matcha is okay. I've had the seasonal cherry flavor and the normal matcha latte, and I find the matcha powder itself to be a bit too bitter for me. The owners are so down-to-earth. Every time I come here, I always spend a few hours, whether I'm by myself or with friends. It definitely gives the "Friends" TV show vibe, because it can get pretty chatty if it's really busy, but when there are a few people, it's really calming.

From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. Cheers to the team for creating such a spectacular experience!

As longtime guests who have enjoyed countless date nights here over the years, choosing Chef Adrianne's for such an important milestone was an easy decision--and they absolutely exceeded our expectations. The food was phenomenal, as always. Our guests could not stop talking about the filet mignon, short rib, salmon, and pork wontons. The croissant bread pudding was a huge hit as well, with both the dark chocolate and white chocolate varieties receiving rave reviews. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and served perfectly. With 41 guests, delivering that level of quality consistently is no small feat, and we want to give a heartfelt thank you and shoutout to the chefs and entire culinary team. The kitchen staff truly knocked it out of the park. The food was one of the highlights of the evening, and our guests are still talking about it. What truly made the evening exceptional, however, was the service. We had 41 guests, and our servers--Evan, Alonso, and Frank--were outstanding. We've had the pleasure of being served by them before, and each brings something unique and valuable to the dining experience. They were warm, attentive, efficient, and incredibly organized throughout the entire evening. Despite the size of our party, they handled everything seamlessly and made every guest feel genuinely cared for. A special thank you also goes to Chantele, our event coordinator. As any bride knows, planning a wedding comes with plenty of questions, concerns, and emails. Chantele was incredibly patient, responsive, professional, and kind throughout the entire process. She answered every question with grace, was attentive to details, and helped put our minds at ease. Her professionalism and courtesy played a huge role in making our celebration such a success, and we are so grateful for her guidance and support. It was a particularly hot day, and the team thoughtfully brought out fans to help keep everyone comfortable. That small gesture was just one example of how attentive and helpful they were throughout the night. From coordinating the event to managing entrée orders and ensuring our guests were comfortable and happy, the entire staff went above and beyond. The atmosphere, food, service, and hospitality combined to create a truly memorable celebration. We feel so blessed to have shared such a special occasion at a restaurant that has already been part of so many wonderful memories for us. After at least a dozen dinner dates here over the years, it was only fitting that we celebrate our wedding with the people and food we've come to love. Thank you to Chantele, Evan, Alonso, Frank, the talented chefs, the kitchen staff, and the entire Chef Adrianne's team for helping make our wedding celebration unforgettable. You didn't just serve a meal--you helped create memories that we and our families will cherish for a lifetime. We will continue recommending this restaurant to everyone we know and look forward to celebrating many more milestones here in the years to come.

We brought my sister for her birthday lunch, and from the moment we sat down outside, it just felt right. Blue skies, that warm Miami breeze, the kind of afternoon that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the people you're with. Sitting on the patio along South Dixie Highway, you get that classic local seafood vibe without any pretense. Just fresh air, fresh fish, and good energy. Now let's talk about the service, because it deserves its own spotlight. I'm totally blind, and if you've followed my reviews before, you know I notice how places handle that. Our server was phenomenal. She was attentive without hovering, detailed without being overwhelming, and helpful without a hint of being patronizing. She clearly paid attention to where everything was placed, described the dishes in a way that made them come alive, and made sure I could navigate the table comfortably. That balance is rare. It's professionalism mixed with genuine care. Thank you for that. It mattered. And the food. Wow. We started with the tuna wontons and conch fritters. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The tuna was bright and clean, with just the right crunch from the wonton. The fritters were golden and crisp outside, tender inside, with that classic South Florida seasoning that makes you want "just one more." I had the lobster bisque, and it was rich without being heavy. Smooth, creamy, layered with flavor, and clearly made with real attention to detail. My sister's boyfriend ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were loaded, well-balanced, and packed with fresh seafood flavor. My wife had the grouper fillet, grilled to perfection. I sampled both my sister's blackened fish and my wife's grilled grouper. The blackened had that beautiful, slightly spicy crust that wakes up your palate without overpowering the fish. The grilled version had what tasted like an Old Bay style seasoning that complemented the natural sweetness of the grouper perfectly. Everything was cooked exactly right. Nothing overdone. Nothing rushed. Just quality seafood handled the way it should be. All in all, it was a fantastic birthday lunch. Great service. Great food. Classic South Florida atmosphere. And the best part for us, it's right near home, which means we'll absolutely be back. If you're looking for a relaxed, authentic seafood experience in Miami, Golden Rule Seafood delivers.

It's a South American version of Italian cuisine. Let's start with how the place looks: on looks alone, it'd be the type of place that had it not been because my friend wanted to go there, I would have walked out immediately upon getting the first glimpse inside. While there's nothing terrible about how the place looks, it screams: we are not a total success and esthetics is not top of mind for us; with odd pieces of equipment, furniture and decor. It looked like a bit of a 90's 'time warp'. The place was small, and it was packed on a Tuesday night - I guess that means something. We had to wait for a table where some poor guy with a backpack was sitting awaiting his carry out pizza. After a few minutes he was 'oddly' relocated to a beat-up pleather armchair-stool (where top layer had peeled off) at the 'bar' (literally a view of the pizza oven) - the 'seat' came from somewhere in the back of the restaurant to make due for the poor guy (it was freezing outside that night) - needless to say, it was an odd scene (seemed like he was being evicted to the bar); and that set the tone for what about to go down for us that night. The table he was in before he was evicted from in order to give it to us (without them changing any of the tableware [glasses, silverware, napkins] that was already laid out on top of it) was what I like to call, a 'divorcee' table. It was a foot away from entrance door, and it was about 2 feet wide and 4 feet long, and it was butted long-side against the glass storefront, so we almost had to shout at each other from 4' away. The server seemed like a friend of the owner or family member, and behaved a bit odd. He advised about a special where we'd get a free bottle of red wine if we ordered two entrees, which was our case; however, given neither of us drinks, much less red wine, I asked if they had white instead, to which he swiftly replied 'no' as in: it is what it is. He asked if we wanted to take the bottle home and we declined since we wouldn't use it. Instead, we asked if we could swap it for free garlic rolls (3 pieces for $2.95), and just as swiftly he shut that down , so we forwent our more costly wine and paid for the garlic rolls - they were average (rate 3 out of 5). There was a dish that I believe was Alfredo with ham - now, that's a first for me in an Italian restaurant. I told my friend, I've never seen ham as a protein for an Alfredo unless they meant pancetta, but no, they meant cubed deli ham. So I opted to change the dish at a premium. Since I'm a fan of a good Alfredo, against my best judgement, I asked for the 'Alfredo' with chicken instead ($24 with chicken here). It was VERY HEAVY as if they had made it largely with oil and heavy cream. Thankfully, the Parmesan cheese and charred chicken helped make it acceptable. However, something was amiss with that dish as it sent me straight to the bathroom upon arriving home - and that extended until the next day, and maybe day after that. It could have been the included small side salad - who knows. My friend ordered the Ravioli Di Portobello at $29 - not an adequate price for this place. My Alfredo should have been more like $20 based on quality and locale state. For dessert, we tried the limoncello cake ($9.95; 4 out of 5) - the waiter read the dessert from memory and recommended that one. It wasn't bad except for the fact that it was drizzled in bitter dark chocolate topping. Not something I'd personally expect on a limoncello cake. When we brought that up to waiter as something he should have warned us about, he's attitude was like: that's how we do it, which it's fine, 'as long as you warn the customer' - it's like asking for tiramisu and finding out that restaurant makes it with nuts - if it's not the norm, and customer is not looking at the menu, common sense should kick in and customer should be warned. Anywho, suffice it to say, this is not a place I'd ever return to. Bouna fortuna for the thrill seekers.

And then there's the wine situation, which is almost absurd in the best way. The bottles are sold at cost. At cost. Like they woke up and decided profit margins were optional. The selection is massive, stretching across regions and styles, and staring at the list is borderline overwhelming. In a good way. Whether you're a casual sipper or someone who can pronounce Montepulciano correctly, you'll find something exceptional. In short: authentic food, flawless execution, cozy atmosphere, and a wine list that feels like you stumbled into a secret. It's the kind of place you want to gatekeep... but also immediately tell everyone about.
