The best chicken tender spot in the game. This place is better than Chic Fil A, Zaxbys, and Raising Canes. The chicken and fries are always freshly fried. They nail the balance between crispy breading and juicy chicken. The Buffalo Blue sauce is ridiculously good. More places need to serve this sauce. read more

On Fridays we order food at work and today was PDQ's turn. It was the first time having PDQ after many many years and I'm glad we had it. I ordered the 5 pieces sauces chicken tenders and they were delicious! The tenders were soft and juicy and packed with flavor. I chose the sweet teriyaki and loved it. Will have to try other surf but so far it's 100% recommended! read more

My boss has been raving about PDQ for a while and says that it gives Chick Fila a run for it's money. So this past weekend we decided to pass by for lunch and were pretty impressed how similar the menu here is to Chick Fila. So we ordered several grilled chicken wraps, the honey butter chicken sandwich, chicken tenders with waffle fries, Mac and cheese and for dessert their chocolate chip cookie. The chicken tenders were very juicy and flavorful the waffle fries were good but lacking the texture of Chick Fila. The grilled chicken wraps were very tasty and the creamy honey Mustard gave it a nice kick. The chicken sandwich was good but the chicken breast was a little dry. The best part of the meal was their Mac and cheese very cheesy and I drenched it with their amazing garlic buffalo sauce. To cap our meal we had their awesome chewy chocolate chip cookies, really good experience even my son who is a Chick Fila acolyte said he wants to come back. read more

Why is this place not more popular. Don't really understand why chick fil a gets more hype. This was a lot better. The classic chicken sandwich was awesome and PDQ sauce was a perfect combo. The service was fast, I ordered by the time I filled my drink the food was ready. Everything was pretty clean and organized read more

PDQ Chicken - Sandwiches Near Me - Miami, Florida

I needed my fried chicken fix, so I came ready to order! The cashier didn't seem happy and didn't acknowledge me for the first few minutes - maybe she's busy. I waited a little longer until someone else in the back of the kitchen came up to take my order. Service seemed to be a hit or miss.  The Honey Butter Sandwich had a tasty bun, but the chicken itself felt tough and dry - A bit underwhelming for its price. The bonus here was their cool communal sink to wash your hands! read more

Really great food and best of all: their customer service!!! So refreshing for a business to go above and beyond to make things right after an Uber driver forgot half the order. Well done, PDQ!! Highly recommend. read more

PDQ- People Dedicated to Quality Very true. Probably the best sandwich I've had from a fast food chain The Buffalo bleu is my go to. With a side of PDQ sauce and honey mustard. Their nuggets are really good too and their cranapple oat cookies are amazing. (Cranberry apple oat cookies). Lots of drinking options from the drinking fountain and they offer different flavors for shakes. The service is good, and the food comes very quickly. They showcase children drawings and colorings all over the walls inside which I think is cute. They have a section where kids can grab crayons and color in their own PDQ mascot. And it's the only fast food chain that has a hand washing station outside for people to wash their hands without having to go to the bathroom. It is very cold though, so grab a jacket with you. read more

PDQ is very comparable to raising canes in my opinion. Their chicken is a late night munch or a once in a while craving. This food feels heavy so it's not an occasional meal. I was happy with the chicken but the Mac & cheese was very artificial. read more

Our next summer adventure with kids take us BPQ located in Flagler Street with a category of 4.4 and more than 1,129 reviews Today we visited BPQ for the first time, the place is larger than other places where we have eaten, the decoration is striking and there is a screen where visitors are entertained while they eat. The attention to the costumer was the best. The staff who did not take the order were very friendly and pleasant with all the members of the group, all the children were excited about the food they were about to eat. The quality is incredible, the chicken is delicious, soft and fried at the perfect temperature so when you try the first bite you become addicted, but what blew my palate was the creamy and delicious chocolate shake (Gherardelli), 100% recommended. read more

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here today! We were looking for a snack next to campus in between running errands and we both voted for PDQ! We've eaten here several times throughout the semester but it was particularly great today! The staff is always lovely, very kind and helpful. The store was decorated with colored drawings of chicks that guests made and we had an excellent time looking at all the different art while we ate! We both got spicy chicken sandwiches and an order of large fries. The quality of the food is great it came out hot and fresh and it was absolutely delicious. There were hardly any people eating outside and I feel like this place is severely underrated!!! Everyone flocks to Chick-fil-A when there's an even better place just around the corner! Highly recommend PDQ! read more

Food is amazing. Served very fast and speaking to workers with good manners is the best!

Food was very good shakes were great cherry soda good too. Service very good. Ambiance laid back.

Driving by the area of Flagler and 101 we saw this restaurant m, not sure what type of food was being served here we went through the drive thru. It was a chicken place similar to the Chick fillet. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich(just the sandwich) for my son. I ordered the crunchy bowl for myself, white rice, black beans, chili-lime corn, pieces of chicken tenders, frito lay chips and cheese sauce. Something was a little spicy , I don't know what ingredient might have been the culprit. My husband ordered the Mediterranean salad, lettuce, olives. Hummus, chicken. I added the zucchini fries which were good but extremely greasy. My poor cholesterol probably went up a few numbers. Yikes! Overall the food was okay. Kind of pricey though. 1 chicken sandwich, 1 crunchy bowl, 1 Mediterranean salad, 1 order of fries, 1 order of zucchini fries and one coke = $39.00. I am not able to review the service as this order was through the drive thru. It's a new experience and another dining option for us foodies. read more

Just got my food and the fries were super greasy and not soft, the sandwich didn't even taste good- the chicken had so much fat and they gave me one sauce for everything. when I asked for a unsweet tea which I usually do, it tasted so bad and so I switched for the lemonade and it was too sweet- never again I usually go here and today was just awful. read more

While working, wasn't in the mood to have a heavy lunch.. especially at 1pm, and a few hours left. So, thought of something light and tasty.. usually sushi comes to mind, but the cost afterwards isn't too tasty.. so found PDQ.. For starters, place is very spacious, very accessible with tables, booths, high tops and also a seating area by where you order. So very convenient to say the least. Also has 2 soft drinks areas. When looking at their menu, think - Pollo Tropical meets Chik Fil A.. and you have PDQ.. which stands for People Dedicated to Quality, people that make some great chicken. You have the option of a tenders meal, salads, bowls, kids meals and milkshakes ( although tempting, I chose not too). Service was excellent, they take speed to a whole new level, before I finished paying the order was ready. Now grant it, it was slow, but if this is their way of executing, it's impressive. Food was great, fresh chicken tenders and fries was the way I went, light and tasty. The chicken was soft, tenders were crunchy and not loaded with grease flavor.. fries were thin cut and fresh. Also you get to pick sauces, which I enjoyed 3 different ones. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area and in the mood for some great tasting chicken tenders. read more

For what it is, a higher quality fast food restaurant I give it 5 stars. The fried chicken in the chicken sandwich I ordered was moist which for me is critical when eating fried chicken. The service is finer in comparison to other fast food restaurants. Chick fil a, is probably PDQ's biggest competitor since their concept is similar. However I prefer the chicken from PDQ and they offer more options (French fries, waffle fries, tater tots, SPF, chicken sandwiches, bowls, chicken tenders). There aren't many PDQs in South Florida however if you ever pass one take that opportunity to try it out. read more

The food was great. I had a spicy chicken salad. Employees were exceptionally awesome.

Unfortunately our worst PDQ experience. Fries were nearly burnt they were so crunchy. Sandwiches were lacking in both portion size and also didn't taste as yummy as we'd come to expect from our other PDQ experiences closer to home. Service was ok overall, but it was a disappointment to see the the Miami store didn't seem able to keep up with why we've come to anticipate from other locations. read more

REVISED: They did deliver! Not sure why we received the cancellation email....? Placed a HUGE order to be delivered to a school for a volleyball team. Terrible customer service. Was just ordering here and said good morning to the person that's imitating a robot at the window. This .... Won't say the words I am think but let's say rude individual doesn't even have the decency to say anything. Just looks down over his nose like he was a king looking at a peasant and asks what I want. Like me ordering some food was a huge interruption into his time. It's incredible where do they find these people? How does a manager not recognize the arrogant attitude this cashier has... how they hire and keep people like this is beyond my comprehension. read more

You know that unsettling feeling you get after eating a greasy fast food meal? That won't happen here. It's been a few hours after my meal and I regret nothing. I just wish they were closer to my home so I could go back sooner. PDQ is no where near my home or even in an area that I frequent for any reason whatsoever, but I absolutely go out of my way to visit. This is what other fast food establishments should aspire to be. The bathroom is always clean and smells so nice! The tenders and nuggets are great. Definitely opt for the tater tots or fried zucchini instead of fries. If you're into buffalo sauce, the buffalo bleu tenders sandwich is a must. Sign up for their fan club & you'll get a free meal that's valid for an entire week on your birthday. read more

I've come here several times since it's opened but have noticed that recently the place is not maintained as clean and organized as it was when it first opened. I've come here to get chicken sandwiches, shakes and fries, I usually order the same every time because the salads do not call my attention, they look good though. The homemade lemonade is great and recommend that you order one with your meal. They have a device thru and free parking. The restaurant is located on a shopping center and it's easy to get in and out of. My husband loves the chicken tenders. Overall is ok. read more

If you are looking for a spot with delicious yet affordable chicken meal options, look no further. PDQ is located conveniently about five to ten minutes away from the MMC FIU campus. It's a great spot to grab a quick lunch. PDQ has many different meal options from bowls, to sandwiches and tenders. I normally order the Cali Club sandwich that has chicken breast with bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and a ranch sauce. The chicken is always cooked perfectly and it has a great flavor. Now, if you love spicy food as much as I do, I highly recommend you try out the sweet siracha sauce. It is the perfect balance between sweet and spicy and it complements every meal on the menu. It's a great sauce to dip your fries in and also adds another flavor dimension to chicken tenders or sandwiches. The sauces do not cost an extra price, so if there is a sauce that catches your eye, you should definitely try it. PDQ also has a really cool handwashing station inside of the restaurant. Instead of having to walk to the bathroom to wash your hands before you start eating, they have a station right near the soda fountains. PDQ also has soda stations that have every flavor known to mankind. If you are a soda lover, I highly recommend that you purchase a drink so you can try out as many flavors as you want. They have many flavor variations of the most popular soda brands such as Coke, Sprite, Fanta, and Minute Maid lemonade. PDQ also recently changed their menu. Some items were removed, but the most popular ones have stayed on. The restaurant isn't just limited to chicken items, they also have wonderful shakes that satisfy any sweet tooth! They have shake happy hour daily as well that it's 1/2 off shakes. Pro Tip #1: If you are a FIU student, when you show your ID you receive 10% off your meal. Pro Tip #2: Join the PDQ e-mail list and you receive coupons for BOGO meals and know about seasonal items. read more

The only thing that was good, was the chicken sandwich. Biggest issue was the cleanliness of this PDQ. Every table was dirty, and food on the floor. Also, the smell of old grease or something like that was strong. I almost walked out as soon as I got a whiff, but my boys were hungry. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches with fries and an order of spicy tenders. The sandwiches were ok, but not as delicious as at another PDQ we frequent. They messed up on the tenders by giving us the non spicy ones. The fries were way overcooked and tasteless. Not coming to this one anymore. read more

Great fast food, but a little pricey. I love coming to PDQ, and the quality really never disappoints. I always get the Buffy Bleu sandwich. It's really great and I really like the sauce. The waffle fries are also really good. They're pretty crispy which I enjoy. The staff is also always friendly. I love that they have a hand wash station inside, it's a really nice touch. They also have coke freestyle machines, which is a plus. read more

I regret not trying pdq sooner! I always go to their competitor and never thought twice. The chicken here is so fresh and delicious down to the breading. Fries are on point too. The sweet sriracha needs to be sold and bottled. This place was spotless and they even have a hand washing station right by the front door. And to top it all off, service was great. I will be coming back again and again. read more

PDQ Chicken - Inside - Sandwiches Near Me - Miami, Florida

I don't get this place. This is like an overpriced Chick-fill-A, as other reviewers have pointed out. The menu is based on chicken tenders (that almost taste exactly like Chick-fil-A), grilled chicken, and turkey. That translates to sandwiches with chicken tenders, salads with chicken tenders, and chicken tenders, plus grilled chicken/turkey salads and sandwiches. I ordered the Spicy Buffalo Tenders sandwich, which is two tenders, lettuce and a spicy buffalo sauce, an order of fries, and a strawberry shake. When I got the sandwich, I couldn't help asking "where is the chicken?". Well, the chicken tenders in my sandwich were the size of my thumb, or the size of half a normal chicken tender, or more the size of a chicken nugget. It was quite tasty, soft and moist, but if I give a kid two of these chicken tenders, he/she is going to laugh at my face and ask for real chicken tenders. If you buy the tenders meal for yourself, you may cut yourself short. The spicy buffalo sauce was alright, although there was not enough sauce on my sandwich. My spicy buffalo tenders was more like a crispy chicken sandwich. The fries were descent, a bit limp to my liking, and they come with a sauce. I picked sweet heat, but it was more like just sweet honey mustard. The shake was a generic shake, nothing extraordinary, but I was glad it didn't taste like chalk. It says hand-spun to make it a bit more glamorous than what it is, but it really is soft serve ice cream out of a ice cream machine. A bit disappointing to say the least. The staff here is very young. I like companies that help out young people with no experience and I accommodate for the loss of customer service at these places. With that said, PDQ staff is a bit immature and clueless. If something goes wrong, you may not find anyone to talk to, which is very frustrating when it happens. The place itself is new, airy, and spacious. There are TV screens, and it feels like a family oriented restaurant. I definitively won't be coming back for the sandwiches, they are not that good, but the tenders are a different story. These are quite good. But... if I need to order twice the normal amount to get full, I may just get a real meal somewhere else, like Chick-fil-A right down the block. To be a knock off version of Chick-fil-A, this place is a failure. I hope they stick around for a while. read more

Horrible service. Went in the restaurant and absolutely ignored by staff even after asking for help. Walked out.

The food is better than Popeyes (sorry). The fries are crispy. Service is amazing (hopefully I didn't jinx it).

I came for shakes after leaving the gym so ironic, yes. I had the oreo one and I also tried the chocolate one since that is the one my bf picked. Both very good, only the chocolate was a little too sweet for me. I have tried their tenders and their sauces and I am a fan. I have tried their heath shake and its crunchy, crunch is never bad. What surprises me the most is the happy staff they have. The last three times I have passed by PDQ I have gone through the drive-thru and every single time I have been helped by a very nice and happy employee. I hope they keep it up. read more

I hate to think of this place as fast food although that's typically the way it works, but there are several factors that differentiate this place from your average fast food.PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) specializes in fresh hand-battered chicken tenders, made to order sandwiches and salads, hand cut fries, hand-spun milkshakes and fresh lemonade and sauces made in-house daily. Everything that says fresh, house and hand-cut sounds good to me so I was a fan of the concept. I placed my order, sat down for a brief wait and a funny guy at the counter called me over on the MICROPHONE, it wasn't just a regular call, it was more like a "Jaaaaaaaaaaacky I have a delicious meal here waiting for youuuuuu" I just chuckled as I walked up hoping I wouldn't trip on my stilettos and cause more of a scene. Overall, service was awesome- very attentive, very fast and very friendly. So my order was simple, Crispy turkey breast sandwich with sweet heat sauce on the side- I wasn't sure if it'd be too hot for me so I opted to try it in small quantities first and it was mild spicy so it was good. In addition to my sandwich, I had the option of fries, blueberry coleslaw or apple slices. I opted for the apple slices since it sounded like the semi healthier snack and sweet option...it's probably not the healthiest but I convinced myself it was so end of story. The apples are drenched in pineapple juice to preserve I assume and are served with toffee on the side for dipping- This was delish and I will order ALL the time. There's fresh lemonade and there's peanut butter chocolate chip homemade cookies that also went into my belly during lunch on this day and I ate it, and it was good. I was definitely impressed with this place and hope to see more of them pop up closer to me. read more
