My boss has been raving about PDQ for a while and says that it gives Chick Fila a run for it's money. So this past weekend we decided to pass by for lunch and were pretty impressed how similar the menu here is to Chick Fila. So we ordered several grilled chicken wraps, the honey butter chicken sandwich, chicken tenders with waffle fries, Mac and cheese and for dessert their chocolate chip cookie. The chicken tenders were very juicy and flavorful the waffle fries were good but lacking the texture of Chick Fila. The grilled chicken wraps were very tasty and the creamy honey Mustard gave it a nice kick. The chicken sandwich was good but the chicken breast was a little dry. The best part of the meal was their Mac and cheese very cheesy and I drenched it with their amazing garlic buffalo sauce. To cap our meal we had their awesome chewy chocolate chip cookies, really good experience even my son who is a Chick Fila acolyte said he wants to come back. read more

I needed my fried chicken fix, so I came ready to order! The cashier didn't seem happy and didn't acknowledge me for the first few minutes - maybe she's busy. I waited a little longer until someone else in the back of the kitchen came up to take my order. Service seemed to be a hit or miss.  The Honey Butter Sandwich had a tasty bun, but the chicken itself felt tough and dry - A bit underwhelming for its price. PDQ- People Dedicated to Quality Very true. Probably the best sandwich I've had from a fast food chain The Buffalo bleu is my go to. With a side of PDQ sauce and honey mustard. Their nuggets are really good too and their cranapple oat cookies are amazing. (Cranberry apple oat cookies). Lots of drinking options from the drinking fountain and they offer different flavors for shakes. The service is good, and the food comes very quickly. They showcase children drawings and colorings all over the walls inside which I think is cute. They have a section where kids can grab crayons and color in their own PDQ mascot. And it's the only fast food chain that has a hand washing station outside for people to wash their hands without having to go to the bathroom. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here today! We were looking for a snack next to campus in between running errands and we both voted for PDQ! We've eaten here several times throughout the semester but it was particularly great today! The staff is always lovely, very kind and helpful. The store was decorated with colored drawings of chicks that guests made and we had an excellent time looking at all the different art while we ate! We both got spicy chicken sandwiches and an order of large fries. The quality of the food is great it came out hot and fresh and it was absolutely delicious. There were hardly any people eating outside and I feel like this place is severely underrated!!! Everyone flocks to Chick-fil-A when there's an even better place just around the corner! Driving by the area of Flagler and 101 we saw this restaurant m, not sure what type of food was being served here we went through the drive thru. It was a chicken place similar to the Chick fillet. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich(just the sandwich) for my son. I ordered the crunchy bowl for myself, white rice, black beans, chili-lime corn, pieces of chicken tenders, frito lay chips and cheese sauce. Something was a little spicy , I don't know what ingredient might have been the culprit. My husband ordered the Mediterranean salad, lettuce, olives. Hummus, chicken. I added the zucchini fries which were good but extremely greasy. My poor cholesterol probably went up a few numbers. Yikes! Overall the food was okay. Kind of pricey though. 1 chicken sandwich, 1 crunchy bowl, 1 Mediterranean salad, 1 order of fries, 1 order of zucchini fries and one coke = $39.00. Service was excellent, they take speed to a whole new level, before I finished paying the order was ready. Now grant it, it was slow, but if this is their way of executing, it's impressive. Sandwiches were lacking in both portion size and also didn't taste as yummy as we'd come to expect from our other PDQ experiences closer to home. For what it is, a higher quality fast food restaurant I give it 5 stars. The fried chicken in the chicken sandwich I ordered was moist which for me is critical when eating fried chicken. The service is finer in comparison to other fast food restaurants. Chick fil a, is probably PDQ's biggest competitor since their concept is similar. However I prefer the chicken from PDQ and they offer more options (French fries, waffle fries, tater tots, SPF, chicken sandwiches, bowls, chicken tenders). There aren't many PDQs in South Florida however if you ever pass one take that opportunity to try it out. read more

The only thing that was good, was the chicken sandwich. Biggest issue was the cleanliness of this PDQ. Every table was dirty, and food on the floor. Also, the smell of old grease or something like that was strong. I almost walked out as soon as I got a whiff, but my boys were hungry. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches with fries and an order of spicy tenders. The sandwiches were ok, but not as delicious as at another PDQ we frequent. I don't get this place. This is like an overpriced Chick-fill-A, as other reviewers have pointed out. The menu is based on chicken tenders (that almost taste exactly like Chick-fil-A), grilled chicken, and turkey. That translates to sandwiches with chicken tenders, salads with chicken tenders, and chicken tenders, plus grilled chicken/turkey salads and sandwiches. I ordered the Spicy Buffalo Tenders sandwich, which is two tenders, lettuce and a spicy buffalo sauce, an order of fries, and a strawberry shake. When I got the sandwich, I couldn't help asking "where is the chicken?". Well, the chicken tenders in my sandwich were the size of my thumb, or the size of half a normal chicken tender, or more the size of a chicken nugget. It was quite tasty, soft and moist, but if I give a kid two of these chicken tenders, he/she is going to laugh at my face and ask for real chicken tenders. If you buy the tenders meal for yourself, you may cut yourself short. The spicy buffalo sauce was alright, although there was not enough sauce on my sandwich. My spicy buffalo tenders was more like a crispy chicken sandwich. The fries were descent, a bit limp to my liking, and they come with a sauce. I picked sweet heat, but it was more like just sweet honey mustard. The shake was a generic shake, nothing extraordinary, but I was glad it didn't taste like chalk. It says hand-spun to make it a bit more glamorous than what it is, but it really is soft serve ice cream out of a ice cream machine. A bit disappointing to say the least. The staff here is very young. I like companies that help out young people with no experience and I accommodate for the loss of customer service at these places. With that said, PDQ staff is a bit immature and clueless. If something goes wrong, you may not find anyone to talk to, which is very frustrating when it happens. The place itself is new, airy, and spacious. There are TV screens, and it feels like a family oriented restaurant. I definitively won't be coming back for the sandwiches, they are not that good, but the tenders are a different story. These are quite good. But... if I need to order twice the normal amount to get full, I may just get a real meal somewhere else, like Chick-fil-A right down the block. So my order was simple, Crispy turkey breast sandwich with sweet heat sauce on the side- I wasn't sure if it'd be too hot for me so I opted to try it in small quantities first and it was mild spicy so it was good. In addition to my sandwich, I had the option of fries, blueberry coleslaw or apple slices. I opted for the apple slices since it sounded like the semi healthier snack and sweet option...it's probably not the healthiest but I convinced myself it was so end of story.
