Happy to have the @cubanguys food truck at work today. Got the burger. It was good. I liked that they use the sandwich stacker pickles. The fries were good too.

Cuban guys is always a hit when I need something fast but in the mood for Cuban food! It is comfort food at a great price and fast. Love the platanitos chopped up! Service is always fast and very courteous.

Food was pretty good considering the late order, only thing- we asked for extra utensils and condiments and they gave us none! Thought it was a little weird other than that no complaints.

Delicious Cuban sandwich and yuca fries! The prices were incredible and service was good. The ambiance isn't the nicest, as it's not super clean or decorated, but it's to be expected for a fast casual type of restaurant.

Excellent Cuban Bowl. Sweet plantains with rice and beans were perfect. Service was quick, but the food tasted like it was cooked all day! Nice restful atmosphere

I've been wanting to try Cuban Guys forever as I've heard nothing but amazing things about their Cuban frita burger. However, today I wanted something more hearty and ordered the Cuban Bowl with two frita patties. It came with white rice, black beans and sweet plantains. The frita patties were well seasoned and came covered in onions. My delicious meal was cooked upon my order and came out piping hot. I sat at one of their outside tables while listening to Latin pop songs from the Cuban Guys radio station. As their motto says, "it's not fast food, but awesome food fast."

Since I was running errands, I couldn't sit down and eat at a restaurant, I needed something quick. The Cuban Guys got my attention due to it being fast casual. You order at the front, wait for your food and leave. I ordered the Original Frita and Batido de Mamey. The Frita was appetizing, however it was a little dry. The Batido de Mamey was delicious, definitely recommend ordering it. Everything yells fast casual in the Cuban Guys, because everything basically self serve, except the food. The utensils and condiments are all located towards the exit. Once your food is ready you grab what you need and leave, or you can eat it there. Overall I like the idea and I think we should have more places like this in Miami.

Hiring the Cuban Guys' food truck to cater my daughter's class on their last day of school which was still under a closed campus status was one of the best decisions that I've made this year...! and I will do it again and 2x on Sundays...! From the initial call to inquire, my hubby and I knew that we were dealing with professionals that love what they do and are proud of their product. Jorge, one of the owners, without hesitation answered all my questions and sent to us the catering menu that would work best for the school. The planning aspect of hiring their food truck and working with Jorge was beyond effortless...! Food truck -- We decided to not only commit to feeding my daughter's class but also all the school's staff and faculty which was no small task. The food truck got to school in plenty of time to setup, be lunch time ready and deal with the hungry crowd. The turnaround time from placing the order to getting the food was minutes...they have it down to a timing science. The staff was friendly, professional and easy to work with...they were pros..! The food truck itself is visually appealing and brought excitement to the kids' last day of school. Food -- Wow and can I say...wow again...!! The menu for the kids and faculty was -- Grilled chicken salad, a Cuban Bowl (lechon, masitas and chicken), Cuban fritas with french fries, Pan con lechon with yuca fries, Pan con bistec and chicken tenders with french fries. The kids and school faculty were beyond thrilled with their food menu choices and so grateful that we didn't send over pizza boxes or soggy burgers. My daughter tried the chicken tenders and fries; they were big pieces of tender and flavorful goodness and the hand-cut fries with a bit of seasoning complemented the whole meal. Some kids and faculty ordered the pan con bictec and they claimed and I quote, "it was the best pan con bistec I've ever had". Others tried the Cuban fritas and they were hooked by its savory taste. Prices - Reasonably priced for the quality of service and the delicious food you're getting. My daughter's class and school faculty's last day of school was a success thanks to the Cuban Guys. I'm still getting texts, emails and thank you notes from teachers that cannot thank us enough for the gesture but also to tell us how incredible everything was. I even had the Home and School President reach out to me to plan something else with the Cuban Guys at the start of the next school year...it would be my pleasure..! If you haven't tried them out, I think it's about time you did...Bon Appétit...!

Cuban guys is just such a great concept. Thank you for serving us great quick Cuban food! First was introduced to this chain located of Sunset and 107ave. Had a great experience then and still had one today. We ordered the sliders and the vaca frita tostone sandwich! One of my favorites. We tried to make a change from the fritas since this is what we always get lol. Honestly anything on their menu is fantastic and made at a great price. We will be coming back soon! To go we took some Croquetas, a Cuban Bowl and their famous Mariquitas. Yum!

My opinion, don't hate me cause I'm going against the grain here. The place itself is great. The covered patio seating area in the rear is wonderful. The service was good. The food...eh. At least my plate (Bistec En Palomilla) did not live up to the reputation. It wasn't flavorful and it definitely wasn't accompanied by enough onions...c'mon it should be drowning in onions. The mojitos on the other hand were excellent. From a price point perspective it's good as well. Will I go back?? No, I wouldn't.

The food is the kind of Cuban cooking that makes you go quiet for a second: a beef and rice bowl with black beans, sweet plantains, and avocado that was rich and deep and comforting, plus a flaky empanada that disappeared in about four bites. Nothing felt like a tourist version of Cuban food. It felt like someone in the kitchen actually cares. Then the live music kicks in and the whole room lifts. A band right in the space, real Cuban son, the bartenders working behind that gorgeous bar like it is a performance of its own. The cocktail program is legendary for a reason, the cantineros are pouring with serious skill, and the energy is electric without being a chaotic club scene. Yes it is on the pricier side, entrees run into the thirties and up, but you are getting top tier food, world class drinks, and live music in one seat. Worth every dollar. Five stars, easy, and I am already trying to figure out when I can go back.

An older waitress served our table. She first brought us calamari that was undercooked, sticky, and raw. She replaced it with octopus, which was more expensive, and we agreed to keep it. We also asked for tap water, but she brought us bottled water instead, which cost $10. The restaurant was very dark, making it difficult to notice these things right away. Before we had a chance to review everything, the food was already served. When the check arrived, she pressured me to pay quickly, so I didn't have enough time to carefully review the bill. Later, I realized we had been charged for additional side dishes that we never ordered, which increased the total significantly. This restaurant is wonderful and doesn't need these kinds of tactics. I only wish they employed more honest waitstaff. My advice is to carefully check your order and your bill before paying so you don't end up spending extra money or dealing with unnecessary stress that could ruin an otherwise enjoyable evening. I truly loved the atmosphere and the food, but I was very disappointed by the service. For me, the ambiance and food deserve 5 stars, while the service deserves only 1 star. That averages out to a 3-star review.

Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.
