    Steak sandwich

Came early at 8am, which I believe is their opening time, right before being dropped off at the MIA airport. We ordered the Cuban sandwich and steak sandwich with cafe con leche. Definitely filling as they also come with fries. It left us satisfied. It was definitely the perfect start a long airport day at MIA. Super glad they were open early as most aren't. This is a casual spot in a suburban plaza. 15min from airport. Easy to get to and plenty of parking in the adjacent lot.

Super good vibes, super good smell - first time trying a Cuban Bakery. You are sure to find something new. I am really tempted by Eclairs they have on shelf..

All I can speak to is the Colado and wow!! Just happened to swing by during their happy hour 3-4pm and this beautiful and intense flavorful colado was .99 and amazing. Sweet lady to help me with the order, a a very cute bakery with gold accents.

This is what happened taken out of the bag. Worst place for a sandwich!

Worst steak sandwich I've ever had in my life. Old lettuce soggy and wet beyond belief's.

An apparent update to the traditional Cuban-American bakery, this place definitely has something going for it. I've only had the café & pastelitos, but I strongly recommend a visit. The decor is calm, but lively. Clearly there is an eye for design. I haven't been to too many bakeries that invite you to stay a while & enjoy your Cuban fast food in house. With clean tables & enough space, this could easily rival any Starbucks in the area. The pastelitos here fit right in with my "update to the traditional" assessment. They are clearly the traditional offerings (guayaba, queso, etc.). But there are some details that let you know someone is paying attention in the kitchen. The bake on the phyllo dough is just a little more airy & crispy that I've gotten at other places. The portions are generous. And the outside sugar on the queso pastelitos is expert level. It's not so much that they are reinventing anything. It just feels like they are doing it right, but just up to a modern standard. The service also impressed. The couple of times I've visited, the cashier has always retained that casual demeanor you would expect from a neighborhood bakery. But, there's a little something extra. The employees don't seem jaded, exhausted, or just over it like many bakeries (I get it, I know bakeries start at ungodly hours). Easy & helpful, the staff are attentive & responsive. As a lifelong Miami resident, this is the only place that asked me immediately as I ordered if I wanted my cafe con leche oscuro, claro, or termino medio .... con azúcar del cafe solamente o azúcar agregada! I usually have to place my order & then rush the specifications before they turn out the standard. Miami bakeries are a dime a dozen, so when I come across a place doing something just a notch above what's needed, I'm impressed.

I love that food is fresh and the coffee is a great size for a large and the colada is amazing as well

Kuba Cabana had a "car bar" outside their place, not sure it it's associated with the restaurant or not, but the mojitos got us in the mood for Latin food. So, we walked in and luckily got a table right away. They place feels like a club, and pretty sure it turns to one later in the night. While we were there a DJ was playing and people were already dancing. The inside with its neon signs and décor is very Instagram/photo ready. We had croquetas, fried yuca, tamales, salad... they have it all. And all was delicious. The appetizers are perfect size for sharing. If we didn't have the show to attend, we would have stay longer there for sure. Great vibe and excellent service.

Some were thirst and some were hungry, so I suggested we try this place. We didn't have a reservation but it was early evening. We were able to get a table for 5 quick. It's a nice place, felt classy. Luckily we came in looking classy. Our server was a nice guy. He took our orders, including my Mai Tai which was off menu. We also ordered different bites for the table. I got a tamale and also the croquetas. Both were very good, and the Mai Tai was perfect. It's got a touristy energy, a little overly Cuban. But honestly its probably not noticeable unless your from South Florida. The waiter was able to take orders and conversate in Spanish and English which was good for our table. It's a nice spot for bites and drinks. We are sure to hit here again soon.

Great drink though... extra $3 for Bacardi? Go for it! And the wife says that her Mojito is probably one of the best 3 she's ever had in her life. I got some Spanish White Bean soup that was really good. My wife's OxTail arrived shortly afterward... I thought it was mostly very good. I really like the preparation, except much of it was pretty chewy instead of soft. My Churrasco was one of the best I've ever had. That wasn't chewy at all. Cooked medium rare, it was incredibly soft with great chimichurri. The maduros were great, wife loves the white rice, and one of my favorite things, believe it or not, was the black beans. It's exactly what you would get if you ordered the Black Bean Soup, which surprised me, but it's so damned awesome, why not? I really liked the servers, too... nice personalities, and helpful in general. If I lived here, no doubt I would be back!
