I had a perfect experience at this location! The restaurant was extremely clean and well kept, it also seemed adequately staffed. The man at the counter was friendly and repeated my order back to me. Drink bar and some tables has yet to be wiped down. The restroom were unisex and were not too bad. SERVICE: Staff were very polite. They answered my questions as it was my first time and gave me a courtesy for something they don't have. FOOD: I thought that this was another version of Pollo Tropical. Well, stand corrected. And although they serve a grilled option, this is a legit fried-chicken place. For drinks, they also offer fancy juices and horchata...pretty cool. Oh them chicken were lightly breaded and crunchy and well seasoned. The three piece meal comes with one side and a bread or tortilla. That was some fantastic chicken. Look it up Service was friendly and patient The chicken was good but nothing crazy. We got some chicken nuggets and the meat was all white, tender and juicy. The fries were good for like a minute but they got cold fast. The fact that they serve the food on a plate with silverware is nice but it helps the food lose its temperature real fast I suppose. I have given this place three chances and all three times I left without ever actually eating here. Visit 1: They were completely out of chicken. Visit 2: Out of grilled chicken, only had fried dark meat available. Visit 3: Went through the drive-thru and ordered grilled white meat. At the window they tried handing me fried chicken instead. I was told to park and wait ten minutes while they cooked my order. Ten minutes later an employee came out just to tell me they were out of grilled chicken again. At that point I asked for a refund. How does a restaurant whose main item is chicken constantly run out of chicken? Someone is seriously missing the mark when it comes to ordering and stocking based on sales. This is a good fast food place. I think it has a better chicken sandwich than chick fil a and the fries are also better. However, i think the service is not as good, it could be improved. I tried the 3 pieces chicken with yuca and cole slaw and the horchata is a must, Don't let the sweet fools you, just make sure you put enough ice to keep the flavor melting in the cold batch for several minutes. Disappointed -- Twice. This was my second time visiting this location, and sadly, both experiences were underwhelming. I've been a fan of Pollo Campero since traveling to Guatemala, where it's consistently delicious and welcoming. Unfortunately, the Miami locations--especially this one--fall far short. On both visits, they were out of grilled chicken. Not just low--completely out. To make matters worse, the drive-thru attendant responded with snark and sarcasm each time I inquired about menu items. Not exactly the warm service you'd expect from a brand that built its reputation on hospitality. The food they did have was old, greasy, and lacked the quality I've come to associate with Pollo Campero. If this is how the brand is being represented in the U.S., it's a real letdown. This is a new location. Pollo Campero is great chicken fried. Fresh not greasy tasty not dry well seasoned just perfect ! Well worth paying a bit more than KFC! I hope they open one in Kendall ! I got the fried chicken with yuca fries and Mac and cheese. I enjoyed the crispy skin, didn't feel too heavy or greasy, but just right! The chicken itself is very juicy and flavorful. Sauces are clutch, especially the campero sauce. I wasn't crazy about the max and cheese but would recommend getting the yuca fries! So good, we ordered takeout and everything was warm and ready to eat. Service was also very good. I would come here over raising canes just for the fried chicken since personally raising canes makes me feel heavy and overly saturated at the end of my meal read more
